I love Trubbish tbh. One of the more creative lines imo.

I never liked how people cherry pick the worst of Gen 5 and call it a 'bad generation'. There are highs and lows in all generations.

This line is picked on excessively.

Trubbish isn't a favourite of mine but imo it's def not the worst. But then again I love the majority of Unova Pokemon and there's a handful of those I do not care for, this line is not one of them for the latter. The fact it has an ugly cute face is endearing to me.

I also like many Unova Pokemon. However, I don't like the Trubbish line.

I do love Unova for it's epic story and many interesting characters, introducing a lot of great items, moves and mechanics like unlimited tms, eviolite, hidden abilities end the shiny charm. It's got cool facilities, things to do and places to explore like the battle tree, nature preserve, join and avenue and pokestar studios. The music is lit. It's got some great Pokemon too like the Tao Trio, Hydreigon and Volcarona. I just don't think the Trubbish line is one of them though. I'm not trying to hate on this region, I'm just not seeing it with this particular Pokemon.

It's just a bad design to me. A ripped trash bag with eyes drawn on.
I don't necessarily dislike object mons, but uninspired mons like this one are ones I don't like.
