i can respect the differing opinions Sam! i just treasure them all because i constantly went through raising them all heh. Golbat's pretty solid in the early-mid game with Wing Attack and Bite.

i believe it's more of a symbolism kind of thing? as in, Mars and Jupiter can't evolve their Golbats because it doesn't like them enough, whereas Cyrus has one thanks to his... manipulative personality? i dunno i may just be digging too deep into this analogy.
