I do agree there are other fighting types I love more like Hitmonlee, Gallade, Infernape, Medicham, Breloom, and Hawlucha. However, what makes Lucario special is its movepool that I have mentioned, and the fact that it is available in several games. Riolu is found rather early in BW2, you are given a Riolu egg by going to Iron Island, Riolu is found before the victory road in Kalos, and Riolu is found in the last island of SM after becoming champion. Some of the pokemon I listed are not always available in other games or even after you become champion.

One of the least used ground types I have ever come across and for no real reason. Hippodown is great. This pokemon, right here, free sandstorms and gargantuan HP + Defenses + Attack. By gen 6 it along with Tyranitar were the only 2 pokemon with sandstream.

Hippodown is a beast when paired with Tyranitar or a sandstorm user. It also has sand force, meaning x1.3 damage with 112 base atk. Imagine getting hit with a STAB earthquake with those numbers.

First time playing DP I mistook the female Hippowdon for a shiny due to how different it was from the male one.

I really believe Game Freak should do that more. Make gender differences far more visible and distinct rather than small differences like tail or pattern size.
