It's other ability is rattled which I'd argue should've been a second ability rather than a hidden one. Rattled itself comes off as too impractical for a pokemon like Yamper because it isn't weak to bug, ghost, or dark. It is like Game Freak knew this pokemon was going to suck.

It has strong jaw like Drednaw, but Drednaw had coverage. Boltund doesn't have ice orfire fang for coverage and that's a waste. It doesn't even learn thunder fang naturally either.
Edit: turns out it can learn fire fang after all. Still no ice fang though.

It's other ability is competitive. That's pretty good but like 75% of Boltund's move set is physical, not special. Disappointing because it's sp. atk. is actually equal to its phys. atk. at 90.

Manectric is the better electric dog mon in every way. Not just stats but also design. It not only resembles a dog but it clearly looks like a pokemon unlike Boltund.

Rolycoly's design is pretty cool later on but this basic stage is just a rock with an eye. You cant really tell that the bottom part is a wheel
