I AM BLOODY CONFUSED!

OK, so there is this girl and I am really not sure if she likes me and I am getting a weird-ass emotion/logic war I can't explain. First, here is our Facebook conversation:

I added her as a friend when strangely I found her on facebook. We've known each other since 4th grade.

Ok, I need answers from both genders. Does this seem serious or is this some setup? And what should I do. according to her in many of her pages she says she is single. Usually I can tell setups in RL but the internet sure is wonderful huh?
 
Probably a setup. And I feel about 10 IQ more retarded by reading that. Why can't ya'll type properly? It's REALLY not that hard. All it requires is a bit of pinky manipulation to hit the shift key and punctuation.

Also, can I ask why you think it is a setup?
 
First off, if you're like, 13, then yeah. It's definitely a setup, or at least she's just screwing with you.
If you're adult/semi-adult age, then she's definitely mentally retarded, and even if she DOES like you, you should probably stay away.

This does seem reasonable. But I asked her for a video chat tomorrow. Maybe I can really decide there if she accepts. I'm sort of good with body language.
 
... If you're trying to hook up with some chick you haven't spoken to since middle school over Facebook, then you're too desperate. Venture out into the real world and find a suitable companion there. Or just put off relationships for a while. They're evil.

But I don't think this would be considered desperate. I'll just try to know her again depending on what the heck is going on with her. In fact, I have a feeling the alternate but possible latter is that she's the desperate one.
 
That's good AdvancedK9, you should get to know her. That way it'll be easier to see how your relationship will/could work.

guhhh I HATE men like that! He is so just trying to play around with you, Ashley dont waste your time on someone like him. If he really loves you then he shouldnt be living with her, just leave him and you'll also see that if he truly did love you, he might possibly try to get you back.
 
you know whats sad about him. i only talk to him about 2 2/12 hrs a day and [like 2nite] i get basicly *****ed at when i ask to talk to him at night. He tells me its "his" time and he wants to play a game. He has an app called 'steam' but when i ask him to put it on steam so he can ttm and play the game, he says "well ill have to keep tabbing out to tty every 20 seconds and i cant play my game." its not fair really. All i want is some time. But if his other gf were to ask for time, he would give it to her. its not fair really and i cant even stand up and say anything or he'll say, "you know what you got into". ive concidered leaving him.

He says he cares about me more, but if he did, why would he tell me no[ and ***** about it] when i wanna talk to him past 11 at nite, but wont tell her no saying "well she needs time too". You live with her you idiot i mean rly. i only see him on the "weekends" and im getting fed up really. Im tired of basicly being 2nd only getting 2 2 1/2 hrs to talk him, etc.
 
Ashley. By the sound of it, you're very desperate for a relationship. You know this one isn't working out, yet you still cling to it. Since you don't want to let it go, you're just putting yourself through all of this ****. It really is all your fault. Either leave him or continue suffering. There is no changing him.
