I'm not a very good romantic or love expert, but I'll try.

If she did not feel the same way, then why did she break up with your rival? Did something happen between them or was it she finding out your feelings towards her?

If it's the latter, then definitely she has something for you. First, she asks your opinion, meaning she actually cared what you think, then after somehow finding your true feelings, she approached you and after that broke up with her boyfriend. And when she said that she also had plans (busy), it was to make you feel that you haven't upset her by the change in YOUR plans. She did not talk to you after that because she felt she couldn't trust you after lying to her about your feelings and stuff. So, to answer your question, I'm guessing she did like you.

I advice you to call her and talk to sort out things between you two and attempt to break the awkwardness barrier afterward. Tell her your feelings (if you still like her), and see what happens. If she rejected you, ask to be her friend at least.

Healthy Snacks?

Well.
I've started a 'diet'.
I'm exercising daily and eating healthy.
But I still get the usual cravings *sweet, salty, etc*
So what are some healthy snacks to help curb these cravings?

That's wonderful to hear!

Try cutting up some fruit and vegetables to start with (carrots and cucumbers are my favorite). You can even cut them before you feel hungry, so you only need to get them out the fridge. Also, unsalted nuts and almonds are healthy. Always drink water - never soft drinks.

Just remember to cut out unhealthy foods all together. Leaving them cold turkey is the best option.

I recommend Special K foods. They're really light, but very tasty. Fruits are also excellent. I usually like rewarding myself with a nice fruit salad after working out. Strawberries, peaches, and bananas all make a nice little salad. Or whatever you like best, or whatever's in season. :) Celery is also good, but if you don't like celery by itself (which I'm apparently weird for liking), put some peanut butter on it for protein (and sweetness!). But if you don't like peanut butter/can't have it, try cutting a celery stalk in half, putting one half back in the fridge, then cutting the other half into smaller pieces. Seems weird, but it helps with eating them cause it's not just "OMG HUGE STALK OF CELERY!" anymore.

Unfortunately I do not like very many Special K products.
But there are still a bunch I haven't tried.

By the way, to anyone out there, are Lean Cuisine's actually good for dieting?

For sweets I drink no calorie/no sugar mix drink packets. So technically I'm not really eat any sweets, but it helps fill that sweet craving when I want it. I also find natural peanut butter helps for sweetness too. For salty you can always go for low sodium nuts or if you like cheese I would suggest the light laughing cow wedges. Only 35 calories per wedge and they have many different kinds to try from.

As for Lean Cuisine I never eat them because they are rather high in sodium, but I suppose if you ate one a day while encompassing other good foods into your diet and exercising it would be fine.

I and my mother both have eaten them while dieting. They help fill you up, so long as you supplement them with vegetables, which is what we did. They are full of sodium though, like Ayselipera said. Just don't eat them every day and keep up the exercise, which is what I've found helps the most personally.

As for sweet foods, I'm a big sweet eater, and one of my favorite snacks are Fiber One products. The oat and caramel snack bar is my absolute favorite. It's sweet and helps keep you full. Same with the cereal: sweet and keeps you full.

For drinks, I second Ayselipera's mention of the no cal/no sugar drink mixes. You get a flavor to your water, and some flavors are just sweet enough without being too sweet. Plus there are so many different flavors out there.

As for salty, I say you can never go wrong with almonds. They're one of my favorite foods, and they give an extra boost of protein to your diet.

I'll also recommend broccoli, another favorite food of mine. You can eat it raw or steam it as a side dish to your dinner/lunch.

Although lean cuisine, SmartOnes, and similar products say that they are healthy; think again! It's not all about the calories, or carbs/fats. Read the main ingredients. If you really really want to lose weight and feel healthy, try cutting out foods that contain gluten. See, bread and potatoes have a lot of carbs, but bread is the one that will inhibit weight loss, even if it is "whole grain". Our bodies have not been digesting gluten foods very long. Our bodies are wired to digest vegetables, fruit, and meat. With that being said, try cutting dairy out of the diet as well; don't get me wrong,
I still get DQ once in a great while.

One last note! Do not substitute protiens/milk with soy products they are awful for your hormonal health, which can lead to weight gain, or even worse! Instead, try almond milk! Yeah, I know it is very expensive :(
 
Issue resolved!!! lol. Met someone whom looks SO MUCH like Darren Criss, and we are taking it slowly. I am literally, way too lucky; he is the nicest guy I have ever met!

I think I may be allergic to meat. Every time I eat meat I have trouble going to the bathroom. What are all the symptoms of being allergic to meat?
 
I'm not aware that it's possible to have a meat allergy. What kinds of meats are you talking about? Maybe it's one in particular, or the way one is being prepared. How often do you eat these meats? If you're like someone I know and you eat beef maybe once or twice in a year then eating it more regularly all of a sudden can upset your system because your body isn't used to handling it. That's fairly common with lots of foods as far as I know.

But in any case with something strange with your health going on that you're not sure about You Should See A Doctor*
 
Abortion.

Ok, I know this is a touchy subject. But I just wanna know what you guys think.

I have a friend named Melissa. Well, I wouldn't call her my friend... ok so this girl I go to school with, Melissa, well, she lived in a group home for a while, and when she turned 18 the group home gave her a studio apartment and payed for three years of rent. What did she do? She went completely crazy and partied non stop and they kicked her out. Now she's "Escorting" and smoking, living with her pimp and now she's PREGNANT! And she doesn't know whether to abort the little guy or not.
AND! She has only been 18 for like 2 months!
And she's asking me what she should do, I think she should do it... what do you guys think? Given her situation... what would be best?

I don't think she should it's her own flesh and blood she needs to learn that's a bit too important to abort.
 
She should get to a doctor, a nurse, or any medical professional she can and talk with them about what she should do. Maybe the home she was at could be a place to start getting help and information. Perhaps there are free clinics or something in your area, but if she's been on drugs while pregnant then that's a very bad combination and who knows what could happen to her - from either condition. The drugs are obviously going to mess with her, but pregnancy isn't a walk in the park either, especially if she develops any kind of pregnancy-related condition. She also needs to get away from that life she's in right away. I don't want to get into the who ethical issues of abortion, but in her current situation I can't see how she'd be able to care for a child, let alone keep herself healthy enough to bring a baby to term without complications.
 
Unless your 'friend' had sex on purpose and wants to take care of the little baby and be financialy in trouble, I say abort that kid. And due to the fact Melissa was smoking sh*t, the baby may come out retarded, so tell her to get an abortion unless she want a kid with birth defects.

Not the unborn child's fault that its mother is smoking while pregnant. She should keep it, and since it's apparently such a burden on her already that she has abortion as an option, she could put the child up for adoption after it's born. Retarded or not, if she can't take care of the child, someone else will, perhaps someone that can't even have their own children. By the sounds of her situation and surroundings though, I think the child would have a better life elsewhere. Hopefully she can cool down on the sex, drugs, and drinking while she's pregnant though, but the way things sound, don't think that'll happen. I feel bad for her and the baby at this point...best of luck to her, and I hope what I and everyone else has said can help somehow.

I agree, abortion is never needed. You can always put the baby up for adoption and it will have a good life. Retarded or not.

This is perhaps the most ignorant, offensive post I've read in a very long time.

Edit: I should point out that I support a woman's right to abort her baby, and that is not what I find so offensive in this post. It is the sheer offensive terminology being referred to the mentally handicap that I find so disturbing and to use as a basis of ending a potential newborn in the world. Degrading a human life simply because of it's potential mental aptitude is something that's very morally wrong in my book.

Abortion is definitely an option to consider. I know that's a controversial opinion to have, and a lot of people are against abortion, but I'd hate to think that people are using their own moral biases to colour their advice about what somebody else should do with their life. A lot of the time that's the only option that a woman would feel comfortable with - because knowing that a child is out there with her genetics for the rest of her life and not being able to have a relationship with it might be more than she can handle.

That said, if it is something she can handle, then adoption would be preferable. But in the end, nobody can really tell her what she should do in this instance. She has to choose the option that she can live with. It is a woman's right to choose, but nobody ever said the choice would be easy.

If I were you and a friend came to me asking whether they should terminate a pregnancy, I would help them weigh up what they are emotionally prepared for, and let them know that I will be there for them no matter what option they decide. But I wouldn't tell them that abortion is wrong (because the last thing she needs is someone pushing an agenda on her in this state), nor would I try to pressure them into it. It really is a personal decision that noone can make for her.
