The Pyromancers: Fire-type Pokémon Club

I like Emboar more than the other Fire/Fight starters. Sumo!

To be perfectly honest, i think 95% of my dislike for Emboar is just because of the fact it was the third one with the same type combo in a row. I really like his design actually, it just feels like it doesnt add anything new to what we have already seen...

Who knows, maybe if he had been in Gen3 and Blaziken in Gen5 i would have a Emboar avatar instead of the one i have now?

Yeah, for me it was that and I was a big Gen V hater. I just think the gameplay and graphics (the sprites did not look right at all while moving) in them was mediocre, although the story was very good. Although I will say I think Blaziken is much cooler even if I push all of that aside.

Here's a thing I saw when Fennekin was first revealed:

So, basically, Diggersby as a Fire-type starter...

That looks as if it's partially a fighting-type, which I'm sure fans wouldn't have liked as we already have plenty of those. :( Unique concept, though!

That was a fan made joke when Fennekin was revealed that was popular among those of is that we're sick of the Fire/Fighting starter trend. Thankfully they got it right and did VERY well, Delphox is one of my favorites.

My least favorite fire type would have to be emboar and semisear. They both don't have very good designs and having a 3rd fire/fighting starter was kind of a waste.

(I don't care for semipour either, but, ya know, this is a fire type fan club. :P )

Emboar and Simisear are the winners...or losers? Meh, call it as you wish. A new topic, shall we?

How do you feel about Charizard being in the new Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS?

Very excited. Since it's got wings and ability to fly, I wonder how high it'd be able to jump and stay in air? Sort of curious about its moveset, too.

Should be interesting to see how strong it is and what attacks/abilities it gets.

I think my only disappointment with it is that Red isn't making a full return, just Charizard. I thought Red would be back since Pokémon Origins just came out, but that isn't happening. I'm not upset with Charizard, it is one of the most popular Pokémon to this day. I'm a little confused about Greninja though, but he's a Water-type, so whatever :P

It should've been Delphox

I swear it's either he is a really hard hitter, but he is big bulky and slow, does some fire attacks and flies, it sounds pretty normal for the game actually, for me I would be really exited if they added Red into the game, doesn't make sense? Think of it this way, a Pokemon trainer fighting in Smash Bros, anime fighting style, calls a Pokemon into battle as a combo helper, it seems great for an idea. But the other thing I bet Charizard can do is use his Megavolution during battle.
