I mean, you could do with it like you are doing with the Shroomish.
But, if you really want a new team member, the randomizer says Lanturn.

Having two trade ins seems like cheating and I have no idea how to get a Deep Sea Tooth either.

Lanturn line is post-game fishing only in BW2. : (

I can easily use a team of 5 though but ideally I need something I can catch in game.

Yes. He is on a very early route but I think I will find a Sewaddle earlier.

Black 2 Rainbow Challenge Update 1

Badges 2/8

Jasmine the Swadloon - Level 20

Caught at Level 3 on Route 20. Doing ok so far. OHKOed the rivals starter Snivy and is levelling up quick too.

Mark the Lucario - Level 17

Caught at Level 5 on Floccesy ranch. Swept Cheren using Quick Attack then learned Force Palm. May take a while to evolve though.

Maxine the Growlithe - Level 17

Caught at Level 11. Swept Roxie's Battle. A reliable Pokemon.

Next I will be importing a Shroomish egg so it hatches with my OT and not get boosted experience.

Umm...sorry, but I looked it up, and you can't get Sableye in Ruby, only Sapphire and Emerald. So can you reroll it for me? I'm only asking because I don't own a copy of Sapphire or Emerald.

This team looks great, but I have two problems. I am NOT using honey to get a female Combee. That will take forever. Also I have no idea where you get Eevee in Platinum. Cam you help?

Yeah, that would probably take some time :D Take Beautifly instead. And Eevee can be obtained by Bebe in Hearthome City I think.

Started the game and chose Cyndaquil (Yellow) for my starter. Professor Elm sent me up to Mr Pokemon to see what all the fuss was about. At Mr Pokemon's house I met Professor Oak who gave me a Pokedex which is pretty sweet. Mr Pokemon gave me a Mystery egg to give back to Proffesor Elm.

As I was about to start my journey back to New Bark Town Professor Elm called saying that he had been robbed. I happened to battle the thief on the way back to see him, I think his name was 'A'. I let the police officer know the details and gave the egg to Professor Elm, who told me to go on a Pokemon journey. First stop Violet City.

On the way to Violet city I caught a Pidgey (Orange) in a premier ball I got in a promotional offer from the pokemart. After arriving in Violet city I met a man named Primo who I watch on TV, he gave me an Egg which apparently contains a Wooper! I then battled through the sprout tower and ran into 'A' once again.

After the Sprout Tower I challenged Falkner and won!
