I wasn't contesting your ability to reroll, I was saying that if you don't want to hack or trade you should probably not be saying yes on National Dex, because that option means any Pokemon in the dex until that point can be given, even ones you would have to trade or hack for.

Update #1:

Puddems finally made it to the first gym along with her faithful Zigzagoon, Beedrill, and Spewpa. We struggled mightly at first with Beedrill and then went back for some more training and decided to lead with Zigzagoon, who swept the floor with the bug-type Pokemon using her powerful headbutt. She only faltered against Viola's Vivillon, who used harden six times then used Infestation to stall her out. She did not faint, as the wonderful trainer used plenty of potions on her star.

In order to finish off Vivillon, Puddems switched it up once Infestation ran out to Beedrill, who resisted the bug-type move. Luckily for Beedrill, Zigzagoon had used Baby Doll Eyes on Vivillon six times, so the only thing that could really damage was Infestation's turn-based damage. Beedrill used fury attack to whiddle down the Vivillon made of stone and finally scored the crucial KO.

Puddems received her very first gym badge and proudly showcased it to the sky as she jumped up and down in excitement and skated out to the Pokemon Center to heal her beloved Pokemon.

Unfortunately, I have no means of hacking and am unable to trade a Snorunt into my game. Could I please get a single re-roll for Froslass? The rest of the team looks like a lot of fun, though!

If you weren't able to hack or trade then why did you say yes to National Dex?

In place of Frosslass take Stoutland.

Will do, thanks. I'd normally be able to trade but have no means of obtaining a Snorunt with the GTS having been taken down. Virtually anything else would have worked, but not Snorunt.

My team is now confirmed.

I was going to give this thread a long over due update, but Pokecheck seems to be down, and that's where I find my mini sprites for Pokemon. So I'll do it after the term is out next week.
