Notice anything odd about this datamined regional dex?

Aside from Aerodactyl, there is only one fossil duo available during the main story. And that duo is... The Gen 4 Fossils.

On a scale of 1 to Confirmed, I'd say DPP remakes are preeeeeetty dang confirmed.

But... I'd say they are for reasons other than this since I very clearly see Archen and Tirtouga listed in there...

The severe lack of Kalos Pokemon makes me pray for visiting Kalos to be a thing. It was listed as a location and it makes sense, what with Zygarde and all that.

Ultra Beasts are virtually just legendaries but with bizarro designs and a new label slapped on them. For all intents and purposes they're Pokemon.

Good a clearer picture.

I'm overally satisfied with this selection, but I'm not impressed some of the mons I thoght would be in the dex ended up not being in it.(Mantine and Tropius in particular....why weren't they in?)

Another thing I didn't like was how there were so many psuedo legends. Just Metagross or just the non-dragon psuedos would be fine, but all of them except Hydreigon....Y?

The Carracosta and Archeops lines (Both Gen 5) are fossils so the Gen 4 fossils being in Sun/Moon doesn't confirm anything.

However a Diamond/Pearl remake with Platinum's Pokedex (So the likes of Tangrowth can be in the game) would be easy money for Game Freak. A new Elite Four wouldn't go amiss though as Sinnoh's were frankly terrible.

On the dex I am pleased to see Whimsicott and Lilligant in the game (I will almost certainly have to trade for one though) is very welcome and whilst I feel there could be more Water Pokemon available it is a solid regional dex.

I'm surprised at all the pseudo-legends and fossils being in the Alola Dex. It also hurts that a lot of my "real" faves aren't even in this Dex, but then again I planned using mainly new Pokemon and Alola Forms anyway.
