The Samurai Champloo/Paranoia Agent/S-CRY-Ed Club

Eh, apparently that episode was just an artistic diversion in the series. It was interesting, though I found myself laughing at the most inappropriate times.

BIG NEWS! There was a freak spike in ratings for Paranoia Agent last week. It was [as]'s second-highest ratings-getter for saturday, getting an estimated 397,000 viewers...even more than Samurai Champloo!

I finally saw Paranoia Agent and it was freaking disturbing o_o; I mean, that suicide cult was CRAZY, each one of them. Now that we know that the boy in custody was part of the cult, I wonder if they'll play a part in any more of the episodes. But the ending...eeesh...something majorly got lost in translation there. Pretty disgusting...were they insinuating what I thought they were about that threesome by showing that machine?
"Happy Family Planning Extra-Thin Condoms." Yeah, they were insinuating that, all right. ><

Ugh...now I'm sort of wishing they really would have just died =/
Well, whenever they tried to kill themselves, something would happen that would prevent them from dying. Blame their own bad luck (if it could be considered that) for their longevity.

I guess that was the twist ending. See in the spoiler it said apparently there is a twist ending. I saw no twist, but a very ironic twist when they decided not to kill themselves. Or that Kozuka was the Fox guy in the chatroom.

About the Paranoia Agent on Sturday....I would understand if the guy, Zebra? Would want to kill himself, but I dont understand the little girl and the old guy....Anyone give me hints?

I know, it was usually the girl who caused their suicide attempts to fail. I just meant it makes me wish they would have succeeded.

Myrrh: Some people are just suicidal with little or no reason. 80% of people seriously ponder suicide at some point in their life (usually in the teenage years) and then get out of it. I've thought of it, my beloved has (she had the razor to her wrist at one moment in her life but backed out at the last second), I know a lot of people who have wondered about it. There are some people who don't stop thinking about it and, furthermore, find it appealing, either out of hating their own lives or hating the world or out of desire to make a statement. Those three were some of the people who are of that mindset, for whatever reason, only they know. I think the old man was tired of Japanese society's decay; the young man had some kind of torment over being gay; the girl was young, misguided, and thought it would be fun because she did not comprehend the permanence of death.

I see....Thanks for the info.....I neede to hear that......Wow....o_O!!! Very odd....

*coughdelete a post*cough
Um, Myrrh, why do you think Zebra would want to kill himself?

He probably broke up with his lover and that was probably too much for him to bear......

Though, would he keep the image in a locket if they had a falling out? I think the writers intended to have the reasons for each of them stay ambiguous.

Yes, theyre good at doing things like this....

Now, I understand! I did forget about that part. Anway, did you guys hear that Dectective Ikar's wife is the next victim.

Did anyone else see Paranoia Agent last night?? I found it to be a bit....dull in my opinion......

It wasn't dull in my opinion...I loved the stories the gossips told about Lil' Slugger, despite the fact that none of them are true. It was very creatively done.

How about Samurai Champloo...Jin has less self-control than I thought o_o;

Yeah...*Crowd goes WOOOOOO!!!!!!!*....It was a bit....suprising to see Jin in that position.....

I suppose he was trying to be noble...erm...or something. It wasn't necessary to do that in order to free her, but...umm...I give up trying to justify what he did XD

Hehe....I liked the Beetle Wrestling though.....Funny Mugen....

May I please join. I love those three shows. An this weeks S-CRY-Ed was awesome :D.
