The second bug pokemon club

Not counting Gyarados, I have a total of six...Tangela (Silver), Donphan (Silver), Zigzagoon/Linoone (Sapphire) and Venonat/Venomoth (Leaf Green). And it's ok to dis my shining collection, ryan, I don't think it's that impressive myself. I'd trade them all for a Shining Gengar; at least that's something impressive to have. The only shining pokemon I've ever purposely hunted for is Nincada, and there was a stint where I kept soft-resetting my game to try and get a Shining Moltres, but I gave up on both ventures.

Do you know if a shiny Ninjask creates a shiny Shedinja? That would be pretty cool. I have a shining Zubat... which is pretty much the least impressive shiny to have. Anyway, we're off topic! *Gasps audibly* Somebody find a good on bug topic to discuss.
Edit: Soft reseting is pressing A, B, Start, and Select at the same time to reset the game.

I would suppose that a Shining Nincada would create a Shining Ninjask as well as a Shining Shedinja, as Shedinja is not capturable, therefore there would be no other way to attain one.

And, in that case, it would be horrific, because there would be almost a 1/64,000,000 chance of getting a shiny Shedinja from any given Nincada <_<;

The way I was calculating, there would be a 1/8000 chance of catching a shining Nincada, and from that there would be a 1/8000 chance of getting a shining Shedinja from it. So 1/8000 X 1/8000 = 1/64,000,000.

Oh. But if that was the case (that it was random occuring) it wouldn't matter because you could get a shiny Shedinja off of any Ninjask, ergo... 1/8000. But ya, getting both shiny would be 1/64000000

Ah, mine can't compute math anytime. I IMed my friend a week or two ago to ask if 14-8 was 12... *sweat drop*... I'm an English/business student... Anyway... I saw a neat wasp today. It was menacing.

I haven't seen any interesting bugs in person lately, but I did watch a PBS special that featured a bee that had metallic green stripes instead of yellow ones. It was one of the more beautiful creatures I've seen.

Bees are always on the flowers outside. >_>; It's crazy.

And like all kinds x3 Bumble bees, wasps, hornets, etc...

I've never been one to jump from bees. Unless I'm in a situation where I can't move easily. Then I try to get away from them before they can corner me <<; But otherwise, I'm pretty content to observer them ^0^

The problem is, I've never been stung by one so I don't know if I'm allergic or not. I have an aunt who is, so there's a chance I may be as well. I hate the thought of coming so far only to die from a common insect poison...

We'd errect a memorial for you online. I've been stung/bit loads of times... There was this one time when I was in 4th grade (or around then) that I was at a summer camp... There was this small hole in the ground that a load of yellowjackets kept flying in and out of. I thought that I'd be cool and impress this cute girl that I was standing next to (ya... I'm a player) by putting my foot over the whole (fearlessly, might I add). I stood there for a moment or two and gave her a smile and a nod to show how cool I was and then took my foot off... My leg got swarmed by about 5 yellowjackets within seconds of its removal... I got a fair few bites... I didn't look like so smooth after that... But ya... I get stung a lot. Though I totally deserve it. In 2nd grade I would catch yellowjackets or honey bees in my tupperware containers (I actually started a cruel fad of this for a few weeks) and then kick the tupperware all over our soccer field. I would normally let them out and observe how they teetered about, but sometimes I forgot... My mom would always get really mad when she was cleaning out my lunch box and bees came out all over the kitchen... I have no idea why that bothered her. Mothers are weird that way.
