My sig and I need to be in this club.

Anyways, Legendia had the best characterization as well as Music.
The most enjoyable play experience, oddly, was Symphonia 2. Emil is great.
Abyss was fantastic all around, as was Symphonia.

Phantasia is a whole different ballgame of greatness, but I feel it should be categorized differently with Destiny and Eternia.
 
I've been wondering,would you like me to throw together a couple of banners to start off with? As I mentioned, I'm kind of sucky with graphics but I'm sure I could pull off something.

Eh, I liked a couple of tracks, but Legendia's OST was pretty much one of the biggest turnoffs for me. A lot of it hurt my ears to listen to, as it didn't have that polished quality Sakuraba's works seem to have.

Though I don't mind Shiina's works in Radiant Mythology 2 and VS.
 
I don't think I can really choose which game has the best music, as all of them that I have played have really great BGMs. Though I did like how Tales of Symphonia had a track for every member who would join your party, plus Mithos. Tales of the Abyss' Karma remixes are all pretty epic, along with the Tales of Symphonia Starry Heaven remixes (though they weren't in the english version. Ahh, that Yggdrasil battle would have been so much better with the Orchestra version of Starry Heavens playing there. Still can't really complain too much, though.)

I could also probably make a few banners. It'll give me something to do when I don't feel like doing anything else.

Seeking Victory would have been a better example, since it's like the only song from the whole game that's commonly known.

A big problem with Legendia's music was the fact that most of it was reused over and over for different locations and scenarios to the point where you get sick of it. There just wasn't enough variety. And I have to say, Sea of Rage has to be one of the worst final boss themes I've ever heard.

I only really play ToS, but I plan to get Vesperia. My best friend says it sucks because he didn't like the demo; what are the opinions of everyone here?

Anyways, in ToS, I play every melee character, and sometimes even the magic-users.

In order of who I prefer playing:

1. Kratos
2. Zelos
3. Regal
4. Colette
5. Sheena
6. Presea
7. Lloyd
8. Raine
9. Genis

I find the whole Light Spear/Super Lightning Blade/Demon Fang combo a lot of fun. It helps me beat Abyssion easy. (I've beaten him on Mania with my four favorites so far. Sheena was the easiest for me, though, since Demon Seal is so damn useful to knock him down.)

But sign me up~ <3 ToS :>
 
Speaking of Vesperia, as well as the music, I really loved all the different remixes of Ring a Bell they threw in there. You'd think it'd get repetitive, but I found a lot of them to be really pretty. I can't remember all of the names, but I think my favorite is Unrequited Feelings. The ending credits also had a really nice one.

Mithos is my favorite Tales of Series enemy. I would think the two desktop wallpapers that I made would speak for me there.

Sea of rage did kinda sunk, but noirmal boss music was great.
I do suppose you have a point, but I still think otherwise.

Go Shiina's music is pretty good overall, I just don't think Legendia's OST was Shiina's best work overall. Some tracks from other games were good. For example, the alternate boss battle and final boss themes in Radiant Mythology 2:






Alternately, Shiina's arrangements of Seeking Victory (ToL) and Theme of Battle (ToD2) for Tales of VS are equally good:



 
I'm so pissed. I wanted to record myself beating Abyssion on Mania controlling each of the melee characters, but my camera decided to be a douche on me and broke. :V

Keep in mind, I'm doing it at full HP, with three other CPU-controlled partners. I could never do solos. (I tried...he murdered me. :V)

I've played all but the most of the Japanese ones...
I didn't beat Destiny or Eternia though...
 
For me...

Played - Tales of Symphonia 2, Tales of Legendia, Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Fandom Vol 2
Beaten - Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss

Abyss is the only one I've completed though--ie, gotten everything, max level, etc.
 
Played: Destiny, Destiny 2, Rebirth, Dawn of the New World
Beaten: Phantasia, Eternia, Symphonia, Legendia, Abyss, Vesperia, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 1 + 2

Still in the process of getting through my Japanese ones (in the process of doing Destiny) and I'm like... two bosses away from the end of Dawn of the New World.
 
Played/in the process of playing: Phantasia and Abyss. I've played Abyss countless times with my friends (namely Sambul) so I know the general plot from beginning to end. Can't tell you about the details, though.
Completed: Symphonia, Symphonia: DotNW, and Vesperia.

Like I mentioned earlier, I need to expand. :/ At least Phantasia is a start.

EDIT: Finally threw together some banners. They're a little big and they vary in height, but I think they came out okay. I only made three for now, but I may just end up with the whole VS. cast.

That was the plan at first, but it seems a little unlikely...
I might just stop at Shing and go on requests from there. If anyone else in the thread wants someone specific, I can make it.
