For the most part, if I support something, I do believe in it. If I oppose something, I think I actively dislike it and the idea of it. (I can really only explain my willingness to support alcohol and not pot as bias but there you have it.) Impartials, I either don't care at all about the situation or the debates over it (more likely) or I like the thing in theory but find it doesn't work in practise (...polygamy and standardized testing and euthanasia). [edit: omg I guess prostitution fits for "like theory, doesn't work in practise" but let's pretend laws are never broken with them since I think it would work find in practise if legalized...?)

i'm confused as to why there couldn't be a maybe or in between option, and what it's absence does for this thread. also the things like 'tobacco illegalization' and 'marijuana use' when there are things that imply the same thing, it's particularly annoying to find them in different categories so people can feel like they have a better opinion or 'different'. idk it's just ****ing annoying lol.
