YO I've literally been planning an Ace Attorney mafia too (well, just thinking up roles and stuff), just don't know how to make it seem like a trial but still run like a Mafia game. :D I probably got the idea from you/Fox in the first place, lol.

make it dark and gritty and send people to the electric chair or kill them with lethal injection and then have some really emotional "I object!"s thrown in
 
Yeah, it'll take a while before Supporter Season 4 can start haha. :P

Like, 5 mafias after the current ones now that's a lot.
 
Should I try GMing a Mafia some day?

I've got an idea for a mostly vanilla game, but with maybe one or two extra roles. I've already made most of the main post, CSS and all, made a plot/theme, and designed a custom role (which I would probably need balance feedback on before the game goes up - and no, it's not the Gambler :P).

But the main thing is that I don't know how much work or time I need to put in - is it difficult to manage? But if I get the role design and the plot down, I just make the posts and manage the game while it plays out. Could I do it? Should I do it? Can anyone give advice with the plot and my custom role balance before I decide to do it?

It's only as difficult as your night action people make it. If you've got inactive people and they aren't sending night actions in fast, it slows down your game significantly while you wait for them. You also can't have too little info going out in the day posts otherwise nobody will ever know anything that's going on and you'll really have an issue as has happened in the past on PC. Should you do it? Yes. Can you do it? Absolutely.

I've got two games lined up on the queue, but I've never GM'd before (aside from roleplays), so this will be fun and interesting. :) You ought to get yours set up and submit it to the mods.
 
I'm pretty much ready to submit it, to be honest. But I really want to have someone with some sort of Mafia balance knowledge review the role list for balance.

And by the way, when I submit it to a moderator, do I include the first post and any relevant information, as well as a queue banner?

So I've actually basically finished making the PMs for my Mafia game, as well as the main post, and I think the role balance is good. But I've got plenty of time to revise it (at least a few weeks - probably at least a month IMO) considering the amount of games in the queue.

I'm gonna send the PM to one of you mods now :D
