To me, Vulpix and Ninetales is the true embodiment of the beauty of fire. Not only that I love all foxes...so thats why my No. 1 favourte pokemon of all is Ninetales and Vulpix. They are also so huggable too, I bet that fur would be so silky and shiny and warm...

I forgot O_o I think it was when I bought I booster pack of Pokemon cards, then I managed to get a Vulpix in there, and I thought it was cute, so I began obsessing about it for like a week... Yeah, that's it. I never really watched the anime much, and I couldn't get my hands on the game (yet), so I just bought a booster pack =D

Probably when I found out I loved fire Pokemon and foxes. Fire+Fox=Vulpix/Ninetales and the awesome internet browser Firefox.

Probably when i caught my first one on Blue. To begin with I didn't like it much because it was so hard to train, but the trip along the coast from Lavander town to Fushia City changed that, I was down to my poor vulpix, which was my weakest on the team at that time. I'd just managed to get half way to Fushia City, but i had only Vulpix left and no healing items left. I gritted my and went on, determined to reach Fushia. A level up later, my vulpix was performing a lot better. I grew in confidence until it became poisoned. Soon it was apparent that if i didn't evolve it, I wouldn't have enough health to even get close(my vulpix was on only 14 HP by then), so I did. Evolution via stone REMOVED its poison condition. I continued on and managed to make it to Fushia with only my Ninetales left with 17 HP. I was so happy. I almost hugged my Gameboy. Since then, Ninetales has been a mainstay for many a team. I used to nickname all my Vulpix Vicky until the first one I trained on Gold Version (that i breed fron a vulpix I got in a trade) when I started naming them Soulflame, which is now where my name here comes from :rambo:

Do you think that if you grab a Vulpix's tail, it'll curse you like Ninetales? Explain
I believe if a Vulpix had the power to place a curse on you if you grabbed one of its tails, it would only be done by older Vulpix and the curse would be much weaker than the usual types of curse Ninetales would lay upon you. Maybe it would be 1000 hours rather than 1000 years and the intensity of curse would be less. Lets say that Vulpix can lay curses as well as Ninetales. I have a nice list of what the possible curses could be for pulling any of its tails. I'll either edit the post or make a new one later showing the different curse ideas i have.
