the weather outside is frightful...

It gets pretty hot here during the summers, up into the triple digits. There isn't really a spring or a fall here. Just a summer and winter. Summer days are long and hot, and winter days are even longer and cold and wet. I hate when everything is wet, it's kind of dreary and miserable feeling. I really don't like how there is only two seasons here, I would much rather live somewhere where all four seasons are more prominent.

My favorite type of weather is a nice, sunny day, with an occasional breeze coming at just the right time to keep you from over heating. Too hot and I get miserable, too cold and no one wants to be outside. If there is too much wind it gets too cold and extinguishes the flame off my lighter.

Anyway, what is the weather like where you live? do you like it? what's your favorite type of weather? <something else weather related?>

Right now it is unusually warm. :\ Like seriously, 64 degrees Fahrenheit? what is this, April? And then last June, we had 30-40 degree weather, with storms and what not halfway through the month! It was crazy! And then in a week or two, it was suddenly like, 100 degree F. Crazy I tell ya. xD

But I love the rainy weather, it rocks. xD

Where I live, it's usually hot and humid, especially in March to July. It occasionally gets colder early in the year, though.

The seasons are pretty extreme. In the winter it's super cold and snowy and in the summer it's super hot and humid. While spring and fall are usually mild and rainy. I like winter, fall, and sometimes spring if it stays cool. I'm not a fan of warm weather at all.

My favorite type of weather is either really rainy or snowy. I love waking up, sleeping to, and enjoying my whole day in rain or snow. I could literally go through a week of rain and be super happy. It honestly makes my mood so much better I love it.

For some reason, lately seasons have been reversed or switched around. In winter is gets quite warm, and we stay indoors with the air conditioning. Yet in Summer it rains and rains and rains, and we stay indoors again, being unable to do the activities we all want to do in Summer. My favourite weather is a warm air with no breeze, with rain. I love it. Since there is no breeze to cool you down, the rain is refreshing and calm.

I hate, hate, hate the weather where I live.

I am a person who likes it cool/cold. Where I live the weather leans towards warm/hot like 90% of the year. 'Hot' being like $75%? I don't know. Either way, our winters are pathetic (yet bipolar), and our summers are neverending heat.

Well... Last winter it got down to like -31 F up a couple of counties North of here... -21 or so where I live. However, that never happens, and that was like apocalyptically cold for here. Before that day I don't recall ever having seen it get below -1 F, and that only happened once in a blue moon.

So I have to give it that, it can be cold. However, in less than a week after it hit that low point, it hit 80 degrees. Actually I think it may have been 83? Yup, that's during the winter. That's beyond pathetic, and actually too hot for me to begin with. When it can't get that warm during the winter, you know this place isn't for me.

This winter has been pathetic as can be. 60s and 70s for the most part, with a few drops off. But we've yet to have had a day where it didn't get above freezing, and we've only had one day where it didn't out of the 30s. We've only had a dusting of snow.

Okay, anyway, this is already too long, but the weather around here is just so fun and insane that there's more to say!

For winters in the past, when I say bipolar I mean it. I've went to bed to 80 degrees and woke up to freshly fallen snow on the ground. So other people saying their weather is bipolar? What they consider bipolar is an everyday occurrence during the winter where I live.

So it's warm a lot. Spring is not nice. It gets up in the 80s and stays there. And if that isn't bad enough, severe thunderstorms happen a lot, and so do tornadoes and tornado warnings. I've been through tons of tornado warnings, but thankfully no actual tornadoes. But honestly, it's too stressful for me personally. I can't take it anymore. I want to go somewhere where Springs are actually something to look forward to - where winters are frigid cold, and Spring brings about 40s, 50s, and 60s, and maybe a couple of non-severe thunderstorms.

But here... Winter is Spring with the rare cold spell. Spring is just summer with severe thunderstorms and tornadoes, and summer is awful. This last summer we had a full month of 100+ weather, and no I don't live in Arizona.

I don't want to live here anymore.

OMG YES A WEATHER THREAD OUTSIDE OF THE DCC!

Well, I don't know about you, but this fire is sure delightful. But since there's no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

In all seriousness, the UK weather is variable, yet similar... if that makes any sense. There's quite a small range of maximum and minimum temperatures in comparison with people in other countries, but it's very hard to predict what the next day is going to be like in terms of weather. It could be sunny and cold, or rainy and warm-ish, or just overcast (which seems to happen the majority of the time). Although people tend to think that it rains all the time in the UK, it's not actually that common - unless you live in, like, the Lake District or something - but it's definitely not rare, either; more infrequent, if I had to put a term to it. But in comparison to certain states in the US or countries nearer the Equator, yeah it rains all the time in comparison to them!

Where I live, the weather sucks. It's far too cold for seven or eight months out of the year, and we seem to be a magnet for every single storm system in the country. This means nasty thunderstorms in (our sad excuse for a) summer and even nastier blizzards in the winter.

It's one of the reasons I'm trying to get myself out of there....

I live where we have what's called Mediterranean climate. It's similar to what you have in, yes, you guessed it, the Mediterranean Sea but also Cape Town and Perth if you're familiar with those places. It means we get rain in the winter and no snow except maybe one day every 10 or 20 years and it's usually melted by 9 in the morning. The weird thing is that this year there's been almost no rain at all. It's one of the driest winters on record so far. That's bad news for us since in the summer we get no rain whatsoever.

I prefer cool, but not cold weather so winter here is great. My favorite kind of weather is a mildly breezy day just after a rain where there are still some puddles on the ground and clouds floating briskly across the sky. I'd take days like that all year round.

UK weather confuses me - it can get ridiculously cold during the winter months, and then stupidly hot in the other half of the year. There's no pattern, either - people that live in the UK will obviously know about how hot it was at the start of October, when it should have started to be getting colder. At least the weather was consistent in Belgium - rain, all the time.

I like it real cold. I'm a Winter boy through and through, I can't stand Summer or heat in any circumstances. It makes it incredibly frustrating living in my household because my mother is the opposite so in Summer time when we have the air conditioning on she gets cold and turns it off, yet in the Winter time she's happy to leave the oppressive heater on all night long. My house is like a sauna all the time because of her.

I like hot weather. Melbourne is terrible for hot weather. Like, we do get it - just the other day it was 41 degrees (and it was 47 degrees a few years ago, when I was stuck in a double period of English in a room with no air conditioning or fan), but it's just not regular. Summer hasn't been good here for the last four or five years; the temperature used to be consistantly warm but now it's cold with the occasional hot day.

So I like the warmth. I also like the rain (but only when the rain is cold!).

I don't like any form of weather unless it's clear skies, no wind, warm and dry. Everything else is annoying. Spring would be fine, except I'm allergic to pollen so that sucks too.

It's good in the short few weeks between spring and summer where the pollens died down and it's still not too hot, and then the few weeks at the start of autumn. Rest of the year, forget about it.

At school, it's summer/winter and nothing in between as well, but mostly winter. In the winter it snows every single day pretty much and it's super windy and the weather is just terrible terrible. And in the summer it's sweltering hot. There's maybe two days of nice weather a year.

the place i live in i can feel the four seasons..winter,summer,fall,spring..and my favorite is fall the time between summer and winter..it's not cold days not so warm and the wind is nice during that time..spring is horrible here but also brings lovely butterflies :3

winter so cold and summer so hot >_<

Right now the weather couldn't be better. My favorite kind of weather though is when it's raining everywhere TBH, usually within the summer time as it's pretty hot by then too.

I despise winter and above all the wind though.
