Anyone who was banned was not baited into their actions, might I add. I firmly believe that those who acted out were the ones who bore the most intense anti-staff resentment before this incident, which merely galvanized them into taking their ill-fated soapboxes into the public where they believed their lunatic ravings would reach sympathetic ears.

That proves my point, they couldn't take a joke. So they over reacted and left in a fiery rage.

And I can tell you right now, its not only the "Mods" laughing, the some of us who can take a joke are laughing too. Laughing because unlike some of the others we realized it was a joke.
 
If it made you feel that heavily victimized, by all means, why don't you leave instead of constantly feeling antagonized by our 'stupid joke?'

The April Fool's Joke would have to had been the last straw, though, as only someone with a very weak emotional constitution or a pre-existing paranoid fear of the staff would use the event as the sole grounds for their departure. Anyone who was offended to that point either acted too quickly or has a complete intolerance to satire.

I only just joined and what do I see? A bunch of corrupt mods.. I came here to talk aboutmy love of pokemon and apparently you all are now hated because of a fools joke. Well you guys need to learn there is such a thing as taking things too far.

So you blaim the members for leaving?

You did something mean, and you blaim them for getting mad?
Who ever thinks this "joke" was funny must clearly be an idiot.

Well, I think if members took it so seriously, then maybe it also might reflect their opinions of staff. Since if you really look at it, most of the people who found it funny where those who knew one kind of staff or another.
 
Im sorry but I cant believe I joined a forum and the first thing I see is all this hate towards staff for a fools joke.

Somehow I doubt that, but okay.

Like many other sites, the staff has decided to make a joke, because its April Fool's some people were actually fooled while others weren't.. :<
The ones who were fooled, but took it to the heart, are the worst of the fools.

And nothing was taken too far when no one was actually harmed, whoever had their role, played their role well.

Rather be an idiot and get bent out of shape over a joke. Which is what you and a lot of other people are doing. If someone left PC over a simple joke, then maybe we're better off without them. PC is supposed to be fun, you guys make too much out of simple things a lot. The one time when we get to poke fun at the members, most of you blow up at us because you just can't take a joke...which is what a lot of people like to accuse us of doing.

although no one was harmed it did go to far IMO. but they apologized so w/e. the people who are still mad should just let it go. leave for afew days to cool off.

Hey, I wasn't in on it, in fact, I had no prior knowledge than the rest of you, yet I still whole-heartedly laugh and joke about it. So that of course kills your statement. D:

We weren't looking for very visible signs of outward praise for what we did; if you're under the impression that we were looking for legions of members to pat us on the back saying "rofl! your teh funnies!" you're completely wrong. Silence on this matter does not imply disapproval regarding what we did, despite what you may think. Most members have better things to do than to involve themselves in endless bickering.

I think it was a great joke in the end. That's my opinion on it. And I wasn't in on it Mew, but I'm still laughing at my lack of insight as to believe everything, especially on April Fools day.
 
I really think people are just wasting their time trying to convince everyone that the aftermath of the prank is the Staff's fault. :\

I've said it many times before, I'll say it again, whatever occured earlier today, is because certain members decided to blow things way out of proportion, because they have a horrible sense of humor. :<
