I sit on my surfing Lapras... not sure if that adds anything to the experience but it feels nice =D
 
I love Wonder Trade! And yeah, I'm WTing in Pokémon Centers too. Actually, I even save the game in PCs. It just doesn't feel right to leave your avatar somewhere outside lol

I got some 3 IVs Pokémon and that's it. I still haven't got any different pattern Vivillon :( I'm so unlucky, it's the most traded Pokémon :(

Haha I do this too. And always sitting down, both during WT and when I save the game.

I'm doing some WTs right now, out go 3+ IVs Lotad, Marill, Petilil and Shellos. In: two Bulbasaur, mostly random catches, a Zigzagoon with an offensive name, and a Wailmer holding a Spell Tag.

Not if this chart is any indication. At the time I post this, Scatterbug is tied for 11th in the top 20 traded. BTW, the chart auto-updates as we do more Wonder Trades.

I have always only had one kind of Shellos. Never bothered to look for both in Platinum, which I don't think I've even half finished yet, on ROM or on the cartridge.

Based on that chart, most people are Wonder Trading junk Pokemon to ninja the GOOD Pokemon people are trading.

That might be the case with Fletchling, for example, but if you want to call Eevee and Froakie "junk"...no, I don't think so. Protean is probably the MOST desired ability, and it's led to a lot of Froakie breeding. I receive 5IV and 4IV Eevee, excellent for evolution, and sometimes they have unique moves (I saw a pair with Wish). Meanwhile, Charizard's popularity has Charmander leading my own list (included in the chart data), and I have received all kinds of Egg Move Charmander from various breeding experiments, including the one with four Egg Moves (that takes dedication). Honedge, let's be honest, becomes one of the most OP in the game in Aegislash (I mean, his ability is a killer). We then start to get more of the Route 2-3-22 catches in the next few, but notice the numbers drop, with a stark 6 point difference between Honedge and Charmander. Fletchling could be called breeding too as some report seeing Gale Wings coming in. I don't think the junk leads; I think the breeding experiments do.

Also, at the time of this post, the chart is based on 749 trades. You see 275 trades up there. There are another 474 that you do NOT see there. One I just added recently was a Chikorita I received for a Healer Chansey I sent out.

I just got a Pokemon I am 100% sure someone did not mean to trade. A level 77 Adamant Tyranitar with six (Yes I counted SIX ) perfect IV stats, And it's a shiny to place the cherry on top. I am not happy with the EV's, so I will have to retrain it. It has 252 to HP and special defense, making it a tank of some type. I want to retrain it to have 252 Attack and Defense to make it into an uber physical wall.

How did I manage to get this in my possession? It's a male no less, so it's going to have a LOT of monster babies.

And you said it's used for junk trades. You almost feel bad getting something like that and all you offered is a 3IV Beldum.

I bet you that this trainer was trying to trade a Luvdisc to see what he got. But he/she accidentally traded his Tyranitar and fell asleep. (Don't laugh! it happened to me once!)
 
More chart fodder. Trades by region based on what we're receiving (not sending). Seems the Kanto Pokémon will always have more popularity than any other region, and is a virtual dead heat with Kalos.

All right, this is hilarious. I just Wonder Traded with...Cyclone. That's right, someone with an identical in-game name as me.

Now that's funny right there.

I only got a Lv.3 Pikachu, so he is clearly starting his game. I hope that Lv.1 Slowking that just evolved before his eyes comes in useful. Esp. since it knows Slack Off.

I think I got this one! I received a shiny level 100 gallade with near flawless IV's, haven't checked if he's adamant or has ice punch, I'll do so when I get home. He's been sitting as a trophy (one of my best pokes) in my boxes :)
 
I'm getting a ton of common trash for my leftover 4-5IV bred Pokemon, out of a box of 30, only a Dusk Ball Naive Absol with Megahorn and Play Rough is notable.
