The Young Jedi Knights RP: Jedi Academy

Yukiko was startled by CB-14. She had not yet been able to perfect her Force sense to detect droids. Spinning about, she turned to look at him, a hint of fear showing in her eyes.

"How can we go?" she asked him. "As much as I'd like to help, I know I can't. We all can't. Only the advanced students can. We don't even have lightsabers yet!"

Yukiko hugged herself in the cool night air. Her pale skin almost glowed in the light of the other moons of Yavin. Her white hair shimmered brightly. Yukiko closed her deep red eyes sadly, and opened them once more. They were filled with tears.

"Now that I know of what is happening there...on Nimbus..." she said softly, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I can feel their pain. I can't even begin to think of the nightmares I am going to have..."

She stopped, knowing that she did not deserve pity. Nat's parents were being held prisoner. If anything, it was Nat who deserved comfort.

Nat's force was suddenly strong. She could feel her parent's hurt. She could feel her unborn brother's pain. They were scared, but alive. This gave Nat hope. If she could sense thier pain, at least she knew they were okay.

Suddenly, a huge wave of pain hit her. She bit back a scream and fell to the floor. "They're..... being..... tortured!" she stammered. "I.... I can.... feel them..... They want.... information from...... my mom..... they're beating dad....."

Nat blacked out.

"Nat!" Yukiko cried, as her friend blacked out. She looked to CB-14 for help. "We've got to get her down to the medics or something..."

She lifted Nat over her shoulders, and started down the steps. Using the Force to enhance her physical endurance, she made it to the base floor, and ran inside to the medical wing.

Tionne was there, keeping an eye on a pair of reptillian students who had managed to get attacked by some pirhana beetles. Yukiko lay Nat on a bed, and Tionne came to check on her.

"She'll be all right," Tionne assured her, patting Yukiko on the shoulder. "Master Skywalker has informed the staff about the situation. We'll have to train Nat to have strength to endure the pain she feels from her parents. Go on to bed now. You've got class in the morning."

Yukiko nodded solemnly, and left the medical wing. Instead of going to bed like she should have, she went back outside, and found Teyra sitting alone.

"Hey," she said softly, sitting beside her. She noticed that Teyra was looking rather depressed. "What's wrong?"

The bell rang for lunch. I sighed with relief, I didn't really want to fight her, she hadn't done anything to me to deserve to even be hit. I put the saber away and went to lunch. I sat down at a table and started eatin, by myself, in peace.

OOC: Are we still on lunch or did we move on?

OOC: We have moved on and it is currently night. Read the last few posts!! ^^

OOC: Thank you!

IC: I walked to my bed and laid down, Why am I here? I thought looking at the ceiling. I can't use the force, never even felt an odd power within me. I'm just a normal boy...so why am I here? I thought as I drifted to sleep.

OOC: lets pretend that i went to lunch and my last classes...

Shinin went through the halls back to his room. He meditated for a while, took off his robes and went to sleep. He thought about what happened that day and about what might happen the next day...

Nat awoke in the Hospital Ward to great pain. It seemed someone had been beating her father all night, and now she was feeling the aftershock. A nurse came over and pulled Nat's nightgown from her back. She was horrified to see whip marks crisscrossing the pale skin. She immediatly called in Master Skywalker.

Nat, meanwhile, was having quite the illusions. She saw all sorts of colors floating across her line of vision. There was a masked man standing over her parents with a red light saber. She floated in and out of the dream, and in and out of consiousness. She was awakened completely by the sound of Master SKywalker's voice.

OOC: Anyone still here? Please don't die, my little RP!!

OOC: I was kinda waiting for Skye to play the part of Master Skywalker..... I shall wait a bit longer I suppose.....

OOC: You go ahead and RP him, Mew13...I'll send you a PM in a bit...hehe

Master Skywalker's eyes were warm and this eased Nat's worries some. "You obviously have close bonds with your parents, Miss Natalie. I've seen you're type before. When you form close bonds with people, you share thier pain. Not all the time, of course, but when they are in need of help.

"This brings me to my next point. I will be sending a few of the advanced students on a journey to your homeland to help restore peace. I know it's risky, but this war has caused great damage." He glanced at Nat's throat, and she couldn't help but wonder if he knew what happened to her.

"I must ask you not to try and go to Nimbus, Natalie. It is far to dangerous for a Novice such as yourself. You do not even have a light saber yet, so you would have no means of protecting yourself."

He rose from the bedside and said, "You are free to return to classes today. And I must impress upon you again that you are not allowed to return to Nimbus with the advanced students.

Nat watched him leave. She knew she was going to Nimbus, no matter what Master Skywalker said. She's go alone, but she hoped to have someone along with her. (Wink Wink!!)

OOC: Sorry ScarletSkye...I gotta keep this RP moving....

IC: Yukiko returned indoors, and slept soundly for most of the night. She was plagued by disturbances in the Force. They had been slight before, merely ripples on the surface of her mind, but now...now that she was aware of where they were coming from and who was in danger...now they were like heavy boulders slicing through the surface of a pond and sinking to the bottom.

The next morning, she washed up, and threw on her usual robes, as well as her white hooded cloak. Her robes, which were all shades of gray and brown, draped around her body, making her look much larger than she really was. She pulled her hood up over her silvery white hair, and strode out of the room, feeling a little uneasy.

The Grand Audience Chamber was already full of students when Yukiko arrived. She chose a spot towards the back, and avoided the stares of those where were curious of her appearance. Master Skywalker soon arrived, and Yukiko prepared herself for the oncoming news.

"There is a great war waging on a planet far from here," Master Skywalker told them, his voice carrying urgency. "A few fellow students, as well as a couple of your teachers will be heading off this afternoon to help bring peace. In times like these, we must all remember that we are stronger together. Together we must stand, if we are to emerge victorious. Remember this today, as you go to your lessons. Think on it, because someday, you will be confronted with situations requiring the assistance of your friends and allies."

He strode off the stage quickly in a swirl of dark robes. Yukiko blinked and looked solemnly at her bare feet. She felt a sinking feeling in her stomach, an unbreakable sadness hovering within her. She searched around frantically for Nat and the others.

In the trance Master Skywalker's speech had cast over her, Nat hardly noticed Yukiko. But as the students began to file out of the Hall, Nat saw her and raced over.

"I'm going," was all she said. Her dark hair and eyes contrasted with her pure white robes as she followed Yukiko out of the Hall.

"I know it may sound crazy, Yukiko. But I have to. You have no idea what it was like last night. I could feel every time they whipped my dad. And I could feel the emotional pain of my mom. It was so aweful. I woke up with the actual marks from the whip criss-crossing my back. I have to go. I do."

I was standing next to them, having masked my presence with the unknown program. "I as well, lightsaber or no, those people need help." I said, and began running diagnostic, functionality, and power check on my flamethrower, as well as my blaster.

"I'm going too," Yukiko said to Nat and CB-14. "I don't know how, but we'll get aboard that ship. We have to..."

She trailed off as she looked at the spot on the stage where Master Skywalker had stood. How would they get on that ship without him finding out? He'd be able to feel their presences for sure! Yukiko looked back at her friends, her hood shrouding her expression.

"We've got to go to classes though," she said. "We'll have to plan at lunch or something. It'll look suspicious if we skip."

"Correct," I said, "Very well, I shall follow standard procedures, and wait for further details during 'lunch' I shall come to the normal area to do so, rather than going to my quarters." I finished, and walked off, though I already had my central processing unit set to maximum capacity, trying to create a plan that would not fail.

Nat had already been formulating a plan. She knew where the lightsabers were kept, and they'd have to steal them. The ship was a bigger problem, but she thought they could blend in if they were careful.

And even if Master Skywalker caught them, she would find a way to go. The war had done too much to her. Too much to her family. They must be stopped.

Yukiko went through her classes as usual, trying her best to accomplish her tasks to her fullest ability. She felt distracted, however, and she hoped that it didn't show too much.

Her mind was constantly at work, wondering, planning. They would have no weapons, no protection at all except for the Force. They certainly couldn't steal weapons, as lightsabers were crafted by their bearers. They couldn't build them on their own without guidance, and even if they were able to, they would be in huge trouble when they returned. Yukiko sighed heavily as she made her way to lunch, feeling a great burden on her shoulders.

Sitting at a table in the corner, isolated from everyone else, she ate some green vegetables thoughtfully, waiting for Nat and the others to come...
