    How times have changed. I used to watch the cartoons on TV when I was younger and bought cards without knowing how to play. Well, the other day my new friend thought me how to play and I'm hooked. My knowledge of the newer pokemon is very low so bare with me.

    All in all, I'm here to learn and maybe play. I play TCGO and I'm always up to buying cards so if theres a section for that please direct me that way.

    Unfortunately, we don't allow the buying, selling, or trading of cards here on the site (site-wide policy about tangible merchandise and services, actually), but we do have a TCG section where you can discuss the TCG and TCGO!     The thread title made me smile. Things do change, and I'm glad part of that change means that you're learning how to play. Don't worry about not knowing the new Pokémon, just steer clear of the shallow-minded Generation V nuts and you're okay. I'm kidding, people like that don't exist here.

    Welcome aboard, Manifesto. If you've already checked out the TCG section then that's great! It's easy to learn and play anything Pokémon so you've got nothing to worry about. Just have a good time, and enjoy the 649 Pokémon.

    Hi there and welcome to PC! Ha I laughed when I read your title.. made me feel like time flied with this series. :P I actually was the same way as a kid, I watched the anime on tv all the time and got the cards even though I didn't know how to play. I still to this day don't know how.. might try to play it one day. :P I'm still a little rusty on the new Pokemon as well and so are others, so don't feel too discouraged. Well we have a big area for TCGO so you should enjoy yourself a lot, just talk with the community and have a great time. Anyways hope you enjoy yourself, hope you like it here, and hope to see you around! :)
     
    Welcome to the forum!! PC is a very nice and clean forum to be around, and you'll have a blast around here. You like TCGO? We got a forum solely based on the Trading Card games itself, here's the link. I have a couple deck myself, but I never play with it other than having a couple of my nephews over and asking to play. It's fun yes, but I don't seem to collect anymore. In fact, as far as collections go, I have only 2 Latias cards, holographics. That's all I need to be happy with since she's my favorite Pokemon ever. :X

    Like the previous introduction posts, we do not allow any selling/trading/buying however. But there are more than 151 Pokemon now! Another post mentioned about Ho-Oh, we also had Togepi so that was 153 Pokemon during the first generation series!

    Anyway, if you feel lost or need questions or concerns answered, feel free to contact anyone with knowledge of the site, preferably a moderator, so we hope to see you around actively and enjoying your time here! Good luck and have a blast!

    i find it funny that you mentioned the first 151...i just completed a romhack of the pokemon red for the old gameboy ^_^"

    anyhow, i don't play the card game...but if you want to play pokemon on wifi give me a holler !!
