Well, I think it is time for me to step aside and let someone else have a shot at the Super Moderator position.
I have been on PC for a very long time and I have had a lot of good and bad memories here. Luckily, it has been more good memories and I still feel I am a shining example of how someone can change their ways if they really mean it. Things have been amazing with my time at PC and I don't regret it at all. Being Moderator of Video Games was so fun and always a tough job, because the forum is so active and popular, but very demanding in ways some might not understand till you actually moderate it. When I was given Moderator, I didn't really know what to expect, as I just kept myself to myself in that board most of the times and carried on with my ways, so being a Moderator meant big changes. However, being given S-Mod was the biggest shock for me. I never expected to even be considered for the position, but I have always been sad to leave VG, because I always wanted to keep it going and running under my control, but I couldn't do that anymore.
I am leaving with a seriously heavy heart, as I have been putting this decision off for a while now, over 3 months.
Why am I leaving? I honestly don't have time for PC currently. I am in an amazing job, but it is very demanding. I hardly have spare time, from the job, to seeing my girlfriend and seeing friends. It is just tooooo muchhhh to try and fit PC into it, because I have started to feel I am just coming on here because I should, not because I want too. Don't get me wrong, I will always love PC and that won't change, but if I don't have the drive to post, then I can't honestly stay here. I am not leaving PC forever, that isn't my current intention, but sometimes you have to move on because it is the right time. I would like to return in the future and I would love to lead from the top again as a Super Moderator, but I don't want the chance till I feel I have earnt it again.
I have so much to thank PC for; my girlfriend (kura) who we have been together nearly 2 years and I am seeing here this weekend too, friends, my attitude, my drive, my passion and so much more. The people here are great and the staff are great. We might not always see eye to eye (GAVIN), but we both know at the end of the day, away from PC, we are both buddies.
I don't want to ramble much, but that is it really. I realise some of you might have seen this coming and some of the newer staff don't even know what I have contributed to PC, but I wish you all the best.
So, for the last time, this is your Captain signing out.
Peace.
