Gen 1 graphics...yes, I dislike Gen 3 that much. Grant me this small nostalgia trip without judgement for once. xDD

Whichever one the default is, I've never mucked about with that setting. xD

Ariados or Drapion?
 
Train them the normal way. I find it takes more time than you might think to walk enough steps to level up in daycare. It's faster to battle Pokemon, especially if they are traded Pokemon and you have lucky eggs or similar effects to boost.

Wrap yourself up in a giant burrito and sit in front of a hungry Snorlax or stick your hand in-between Pinsir's horns just before it uses guillotine?
 
giant burrito has to be the way to go. if you're signing a death wish, you better go all out.

Mystery Dungeon, without a doubt. Although DX left a lot to be desired - like bloody Friend Areas! - and...well, honestly since the first game Ranger just got better, and Mystery Dungeon just got worse. But I'd still take Blue Rescue Team over Guardian Signs any day.

Shauntal I think...Fantina's makeup and her dub accent are both a little bit overdone.

Kanto Route 1. I don't even remember Unova Route 1 tbh.
