Forest. I hate gnats that often live in prairies, but once I found the skeleton of a dead animal in the woods and I used it to scare people away from me.

I'm good at downhill skiing, but I love sledding! Just eventually devolves to rolling around in the snow, basically. But I definitely prefer it on hills with a rope tow. Ain't gonna catch me walking all the way back up to the top, ugh.
