Peaceful, Lazy, Chill, and Nice is a decent enough way to describe Cain. He is pretty much what you would expect a guy like him to act like and it's been this way since he's been just a wee tyke. Cain is the type that'll go with the flow more often than not and just enjoy the natural aspect of life. He's not a confrontational person and doesn't mind things like insults being said about him, as long as you're not actively harming him in a physical manner he pretty much just doesn't care about any nasty, mean, or downright hurtful things that are said about him. He's pretty much as peace loving and nature loving as a nomad can be.

[FONT=&quot]Due to generally be[FONT=&quot]ing alienated as a kid due to his constant head in the cloud attitude and awkwardne[FONT=&quot]ss with most people he t[FONT=&quot]ends to have a bit of nervousness when talking with [FONT=&quot]new people[FONT=&quot]. While it won't inhibit h[FONT=&quot]is ability to talk to other it'll make him much more c[FONT=&quot]autio[FONT=&quot]us than he usually would if he doesn't feel comfortable around you. [FONT=&quot]Despite his lazy nature Cain is extremely smart [FONT=&quot]when he [FONT=&quot]is ac[FONT=&quot]tually motivated and [FONT=&quot]his thought process seem[FONT=&quot]s to become nearly precognitive[FONT=&quot] in nature.

[FONT=&quot]Cain's mind tends to roam a lot and he can seem a bit scatterbrained at time wh[FONT=&quot]en he isn't focusing however. He's a rather creative p[FONT=&quot]erson and when not doing something important or something that needs his attention his mind tends to just kind of...roam. [FONT=&quot]With no real parental guidance in his life despite his [FONT=&quot]possession[/FONT] of parents he never really grew out of his [FONT=&quot]ways and when he [FONT=&quot]decided to leave after a couple of years of college it's safe to say that [FONT=&quot]his spacey-ness only got worse, though he tends to be able to reign it in most of the time at least [FONT=&quot]to keep focus on [FONT=&quot]things.[/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT]

Cain[FONT=&quot] is rather simple at a glance goal wise as he pretty much just wants the world to be peaceful[FONT=&quot], no bad guys to threaten any one's way of life and every one is able to have a satisfying ending. However, even he knows that it is unlikely for this to occur to happen. As long as hatred exists he knows that their will be some form of strife in the world whether it be amon[FONT=&quot]gst villain[FONT=&quot]s and heroes or just ordinary people trying to defend their own way of living. So as of now as he sort of roams about he's currently searching for an answer[FONT=&quot] to how one can achieve world peace and [FONT=&quot]as it is he still hasn't given up hope[FONT=&quot].

[FONT=&quot]When fighting he is much more serious and focused, [FONT=&quot]he doesn't show any arrogance and is [FONT=&quot]focused completely on the task at [FONT=&quot]hand. While not downright vicious in battle he's much more calculated with his moves and is always aiming to take his opponent down with the least amount of effort on his part in the most effective way possib[FONT=&quot]le. Due to his empathic nature it's easy for him to read opponents or others in general as he seems to be a natural cold reader[FONT=&quot] and is able to use this to his advantage[FONT=&quot] if he wants to.[/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT]

Elemental Manipulation: Contrary to his appearance and personality Cain actually follows tha path of Shamanism, and due to certain circumstances his abilities truly manifested granting him certain abilities relevant to the way of Shaministic belief. The primary ability being control of the elements of the world around him with varying degrees based upon his affinity for the element. While he is able to generate the element himself it is much harder to control and a bit weaker than if he used the element from his surrounding such as creating a spark from wind friction and then manipulating said spark into a flame that he could control or even manipulating the spark into electricity.

Such things as using the wind itself as a way to detect presence to see if someone is near or feeling the vibrations of footsteps from the earth below him are things that he is able to do without much effort. His manipulation is limited however by two things, the first being range. His manipulation can only generally be within approximately a 75 foot sphere of influence at max and this depends on what element he is trying to manipulate. Outside of this sphere it is unlikely for him to be able to do much more than shake the leaves of a tree and even that would be a arduous task in itself. Within his sphere however, it is accurate to say that he is able to sense nearly everything as long as he isn't daydreaming and is actually focused making it very hard to sneak attack him if you do not know the length of his range.

The second limit is that manipulating things with as much ease as he makes it out to seem as is rather draining on him. He has a certain limit of energy that allows him to manipulate the elements and when it runs out his life begins to be put in risk as to use his abilities any further is draining his own life force to continue allowing himself to use his abilities. Recharging the energy is as simple as resting and eating food, but when you're in the middle of a fight with a person bent on you're death there are no snack breaks in the middle of battle making it so he is careful to limit how much energy he uses at a time.

A secondary effect that is due to his unique energy his overall body has become stronger as a direct result, not strong enough to say, punch an entire building off of its structure but able to lift about half a ton if he was to use all of his strength. However, the amount of strength and durability he has is directly correlated to the amount of energy he currently has so while at full he might be able to take bullets to the chest with possible bruises when drained he's back down to normal human strength unless he uses his life force to constantly enhance himself. The energy can also be used to speed up his healing though it has to be constantly focused on else it'll do the opposite and inhibit him from healing.

Earth and Fire are his strongest affinities, surprisingly, which means that he has the easiest time controlling these two elements with less energy cost than it would for him try any other element besides Wind which he is currently neutral with. Using Wind, Water, or any combination element is currently very draining and while his energy store has seemingly increased overtime it only takes a few large manipulation before he's feeling tired.

Super Wooden Sword: A seemingly n[FONT=&quot]ormal wooden stick that he carries under his cloak that is shaped in the general form of a sword. However, this is no ordinary wooden stick it is a[FONT=&quot] [FONT=&quot]Super Stick! Cain has enhanced the materials making up the stick to its absolute limit making what seems to be a rather normal [FONT=&quot]wo[FONT=&quot]oden sword [FONT=&quot]and item that is as strong as steel. While not having much sword skills with the item itself he [FONT=&quot]is able to use it as such along with other properties that make it a rather dangerous weapon. F[FONT=&quot]or[FONT=&quot] e[FONT=&quot]xample[FONT=&quot], he can easily manipulate it to sudd[FONT=&quot]enly grow rapidly to become larger, longer, smaller or change it[FONT=&quot]s general shape to make it much sharper than what it normally should be. [FONT=&quot]While generally he has to be touching it to easily manipulate its structure it is possible for him to manipulate it at a distance, it just takes more energy[FONT=&quot]. It usually take the fo[FONT=&quot]rm of a little c[FONT=&quot]ross tied to a [FONT=&quot]cloth bracelet around his hand.[/FONT][/FONT][/FONT]

Even in the worse of situations Cain is able to keep level headed and is seemingly unshakeable even if everything is looking grim. [FONT=&quot]With his almost ideali[FONT=&quot]stic positivit[FONT=&quot]y he [FONT=&quot]always believes that as long as everyone keeps their wills unshakeable anything is possible with the right am[FONT=&quot]ount of determination[FONT=&quot]. His meditation and Tai-Chi practice [FONT=&quot]also helps with allowing him to remain calm [FONT=&quot]which allows him to properly as[FONT=&quot]sess even the worse of situations with the belief that things can turn out [FONT=&quot]all right. His positive outlook on [FONT=&quot]things can inspire others as [FONT=&quot]it seems to radiate off of him, the [FONT=&quot]tranquility[FONT=&quot] that is figuratively speaking. Even when the chips are down and everything looks bleak as long as ther[FONT=&quot]e is some way to salvage the situation Cain will n[FONT=&quot]ot give up, [FONT=&quot]it's just the kind of guy that he is. [FONT=&quot]Having taken up Tai-Chi while [FONT=&quot]roaming in[/FONT] Japan a couple years ago Cain has a rather decent knowledge of t[FONT=&quot]wo of the [FONT=&quot]five variants of Tai-Chi and is able t[FONT=&quot]o use the [FONT=&quot]Yang and Sun style as well as a 2nd D[FONT=&quot]eg[FONT=&quot]ree Black Belt[FONT=&quot], but due to his incomplete [FONT=&quot]kno[FONT=&quot]wledge his [FONT=&quot]ability with the other three are fine at best and [FONT=&quot]negligible at worst and even the two he's good in are missing [FONT=&quot]just a couple of the moves that are a sign of someone who has truly mastered the style to the best they could, though this tends not to hinder him much while in a fight[/FONT]. [FONT=&quot]While not fighting using his powers offensively he uses this in tangent with it allowing him to effectively neutralize mos[FONT=&quot]t human opponents by striking the pressure points on their body before they even have a chance to react. [FONT=&quot]While Tai-Chi is a primaril[FONT=&quot]y defensive art he has learned so[FONT=&quot]me of the more offensive uses and while hesit[FONT=&quot]ant to use them he [FONT=&quot]has a decent enough [FONT=&quot]knowledge to use them rather effici[FONT=&quot]ently if he tried. [FONT=&quot]Cain is easily a genius, a lazy and nearly sloth[FONT=&quot]ful genius, but a genius nonetheless[FONT=&quot]...at least when he puts his mind to it. [FONT=&quot]W[FONT=&quot]hile not a real strategist or anything Cain [FONT=&quot]is more than capable of [FONT=&quot]keeping up with [FONT=&quot]others in anything requiring tactical precision if he's [FONT=&quot]feeling willing enough. [FONT=&quot]His mind is able to run through multiple scenarios in [FONT=&quot]less t[FONT=&quot]han a few minutes[/FONT][/FONT] and is capable of picking the best one with ease. Despite his kind nature he is willing to play unfair if necessary and while facing villains is willing to [FONT=&quot]use anythi[FONT=&quot]ng and everything to his advantage as long as it does not cross his morals. He is able to pick up on new things pretty easily, but inst[FONT=&quot]ead of really learning them he[FONT=&quot]'s more like a mimic. +Laziness: Cain's [FONT=&quot]most likely biggest weakness is the fact that he is extremely lazy to the point that it can sometimes effect his b[FONT=&quot]etter judgement. He is usually not willing to take the initiative [FONT=&quot]even when it's necessary and is rather slothful in nature. While this can be semi[FONT=&quot]-explained by his nomadic attitude it stems even further back then that as his parents were much m[FONT=&quot]ore focused on[FONT=&quot] their career with them spending barely any time on him which meant he never broke his habit[FONT=&quot] when he developed it[FONT=&quot], which in this case was laziness in the form of pretty much slacking off. His entire attitude became sort of[FONT=&quot] "Why do now what I can do later[FONT=&quot]?" and this led to him doing just the bare mini[FONT=&quot]mum to get b[FONT=&quot]y in school and pretty much[FONT=&quot] in life as of now.

[FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]This makes him a rather[FONT=&quot]...not good[FONT=&quot], for lack of a better term, hero as if he doesn't have to put in the effort to stop a villain he'll let someone else handle it [FONT=&quot]even if they potentially might not be able to handle it. He'll pretty much take any short cuts he can so he can to get [FONT=&quot]whatever is needed done with least possible effort that he needs to, sometimes it's a strength but most of the time it's a weak[FONT=&quot]ness[/FONT].

"What it takes to be a hero huh? I've never honestly thought about it. I know everyone has different motivations for what they do, but me personally I'm simple. I just want some peace, ya know?"

[FONT=&quot]My parents were pretty much [FONT=&quot]stuffed up suits, or ya know another general term for really serious [FONT=&quot]business workers. They were the type of people that spent hours upon hours [FONT=&quot]working on something and th[FONT=&quot]at was prob[FONT=&quot]ably the key to their general success. We were rather well set with money, had a reasonable sized house and I knew my parents loved me, but it's pretty hard to treat them as such when I remember [FONT=&quot]when I was about 9 or 10 that they left me in the house alo[FONT=&quot]ne for[FONT=&quot] my [FONT=&quot]Spring Break while they went on a business trip. At first I had freaked[FONT=&quot], but I calmed down soon enough I've always been pretty chill so I suppose may[FONT=&quot]be I kind of just accepted it[FONT=&quot] and forced myself to move on or something.

[FONT=&quot]Along with the constant trips that my [FONT=&quot]parents went on and me having to fend for myself most of the time if they thought they could get away with leaving me alone for a couple of days, I was pretty responsible so they [FONT=&quot]didn't worry much, I a[FONT=&quot]lso never tended to stay in one place for too lo[FONT=&quot]ng. I've moved all across the US from California to [FONT=&quot]New York to [FONT=&quot]Texas and sometimes we've had to move out of country for a [FONT=&quot]year or so be[FONT=&quot]cause of a new business opportunity that was availab[FONT=&quot]le to one of them. It made it kind of hard to make fri[FONT=&quot]ends as I knew that ine[FONT=&quot]vitabl[FONT=&quot]y [FONT=&quot]that I'd wind up moving away so I kind of just gave up on it, while I still talked with others I[FONT=&quot] didn't activ[FONT=&quot]ely try to make friends or anything.

[FONT=&quot]It w[/FONT]as too hard back then, I guess my justification was[FONT=&quot] why make friends if yo[FONT=&quot]u're just going to be leaving them eventually an[FONT=&quot]yways? So I spent years at school just kind of just drif[FONT=&quot]ting and somewhere along the way I kind of [FONT=&quot]got lazy[FONT=&quot] I guess. There was no pressure on me to excel, while I li[FONT=&quot]ved with my parents they didn't really ask me questions about how I did or what my day was [FONT=&quot]like and gave me [FONT=&quot]just the essentials[FONT=&quot]. Maybe it was all the stress they had, but [FONT=&quot]now that I'm grown up it seems like they just didn't know how to really handle a child so they pretty much didn't tre[FONT=&quot]at me like one.

[FONT=&quot]One of t[FONT=&quot]he cool things that my parents actually did for me though was a[FONT=&quot]lways bringing me back some souvenir from the[FONT=&quot]ir trips whe[FONT=&quot]ther it be small things like a necklace from Hawa[FONT=&quot]ii or when they were hired [FONT=&quot]by [FONT=&quot]some[FONT=&quot] contractors in a state to help them with the finan[FONT=&quot]cial part of their business they'd bring me little trinkets they got from their job.

Though, sometimes I think that something was wrong with th[FONT=&quot]em [/FONT]as they had gotten me an airsoft gun one t[FONT=&quot]ime[FONT=&quot], and I really didn't have much use for something. One of my favorite gifts though were [FONT=&quot]the clothing that they [FONT=&quot]had gotten me from[FONT=&quot] when we all went to Mexico.

That was one of the very first trips they had taken me on[FONT=&quot] and apparently they were working with some people that [FONT=&quot]were [FONT=&quot]working on creating some more durable clothing using the funds provided by the government or something[FONT=&quot] as a way for officers on the field to be more protected. What was given to me was a half-[FONT=&quot]s[/FONT]uccessful prototype, I don't [FONT=&quot]necessarily know how they managed to acquire it but my parents [FONT=&quot]always seemed to find a way to get stuff.

The clothing itself wasn't nearly as dura[FONT=&quot]ble as they were aiming for from what one of the kinder scientists had told me as it could still be damaged [FONT=&quot]by stronger weapons such as sniper ri[FONT=&quot]fles or explosive damage [FONT=&quot]but it was [FONT=&quot]much more flexible. It didn't weigh too much and was able to block small bullets and k[FONT=&quot]nives from going through unl[FONT=&quot]ess used repeatedly against[FONT=&quot] and was overall much durable t[FONT=&quot]han your average attire. It was most definitely my coolest gift even though I only really wore the ponc[FONT=&quot]ho most of the time seeing as the [FONT=&quot]big red gloves[FONT=&quot], red military[FONT=&quot]-like pants, and sort of metal boots were guaranteed to stand out.[/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]So while we hopped around [FONT=&quot]during my child[FONT=&quot]hood[FONT=&quot] it was [FONT=&quot]when I was 20 or so[FONT=&quot] that we finally decided to settle down for a bit in the city of Hy[FONT=&quot]peria. I had [FONT=&quot]finished school online taking the necessary classes to get a degree in Computer Programming and Game Design[FONT=&quot],[FONT=&quot] and was just going through the cycles. I don't know when, but something sort of just snapped in my mind one day and I packed my bags and left. The general m[FONT=&quot]onotony of life had gotten to me, no real frien[FONT=&quot]ds to support me and parents that [FONT=&quot]cared [FONT=&quot]I guess, but not enough to really be around for me. I had money so I decided I'd just go and see what l[FONT=&quot]ife could offer me, it'd had to be better than just [FONT=&quot]doing nothing.

[FONT=&quot]With the money I had saved up from my parents [FONT=&quot]I first decided to stop in India, I wished to learn all about different cultures and how others lived[FONT=&quot]. At first it was pretty hard seeing as I only knew bits and peaces of the language[FONT=&quot], but I managed through somehow[FONT=&quot]. Buddhism was a rather unique religion I had to admit and while their I had met someone who practiced martial arts, particularly Tai-Chi[FONT=&quot].

I en[FONT=&quot]ded up staying there much longer than planned just trying to get th[FONT=&quot]e [FONT=&quot]guy to teach me[FONT=&quot] as apparently it was a spiritual art. I wanted to get in contact with my own [FONT=&quot]spiritual[/FONT] side, I was a rather [FONT=&quot]spacey guy most of the time and most of it led back to the fact that I really didn't know what to do in life. I had a few things I like, but the wo[FONT=&quot]rld was just such a big place that my existence felt kind of small. I guess I had a sort of existential crisis for a bit, but my teacher set me [FONT=&quot]straight mostly.

I s[FONT=&quot]tayed their for a[FONT=&quot]bout two and a [FONT=&quot]half years before I decided I w[FONT=&quot]anted to see m[FONT=&quot]ore of the world, me and my teacher part[FONT=&quot]ed ways on good terms even though he still called me a slacker seeing as I probably could've learned more had I put in more effort. I didn't deny his claim.

[FONT=&quot]Next stop was Japan, luckily by doi[FONT=&quot]ng some odd jobs here and there I managed to keep enough money to travel around for [FONT=&quot]a[FONT=&quot] year more befor[FONT=&quot]e I'd have [FONT=&quot]used up all of my own money I currently had. Japanese culture was enlightening and by following up on what his teacher had told him he l[FONT=&quot]earned of Shamanism, it was a art that promoted spiritual enlightenment [FONT=&quot]and peace [FONT=&quot]with the world. I [FONT=&quot]didn'[FONT=&quot]t have any instruc[FONT=&quot]t[FONT=&quot]o[FONT=&quot]r to teach me about the art so I decided to by some books and do the next best thing[FONT=&quot], go out in the woods and find my own peac[FONT=&quot]e.

The world was a place that hatred and strife was pretty common[FONT=&quot], this was something I knew before hand and yet we still all for the most part wanted peace[FONT=&quot] and I wanted to help the process. I wasn't a hero or anyone really special so I decided that maybe [FONT=&quot]becoming a shaman would at least help me come up with something.

[FONT=&quot]I[FONT=&quot] think was one [FONT=&quot]thing[FONT=&quot] that I could say came naturally to me, meditation was an e[FONT=&quot]asy enough feat for me to accomplish[FONT=&quot], [/FONT]I guess being a natural slacker and generally lazy helped me out here[FONT=&quot].[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]I s[FONT=&quot]ta[/FONT]yed in the woods for about a year living with the ani[FONT=&quot]mals and just generally learning how t[FONT=&quot]o survive in such an environment, it was a rather peaceful living.

[FONT=&quot]I meditated everyday and made sure to exercise a[FONT=&quot]s a s[FONT=&quot]trong body and a strong mind made a calm soul and it was sometime during the year that something began to happen. [FONT=&quot]My connection with the nature around [FONT=&quot]me grew, I[FONT=&quot]f I meditated I could feel the bark on the trees[FONT=&quot], the gentle breeze flowing by, the dirt below me, the grass swaying in the breeze, the water rushing down stre[FONT=&quot]am in a [FONT=&quot]certain [FONT=&quot]radius around me. I[FONT=&quot]t was [FONT=&quot]enough for the first time to nearly give me sensory overload.

[FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]When I woke up I [FONT=&quot]was a bit startled to see the surrounding fauna, animals and such, surrounding me. [FONT=&quot]They weren't predatory[/FONT] surprisingly but seemed to be [FONT=&quot]protective of me than anything. Who knew having a [FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]connection[/FONT] with nature would make animals so friendly? It was after this event that I decided that mayb[FONT=&quot]e I could make a bit of a difference, maybe I could find peace for [FONT=&quot]others now that I had found my own peace sort of. [FONT=&quot]Being a Shaman of sorts it was my duty to make [FONT=&quot]the world a peaceful place after all, so with [FONT=&quot]my new found abilities I had decided I'd be a hero someone who protected others peace[FONT=&quot] and way of life from the ones who would [FONT=&quot]seek to destroy it.

[FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]And [FONT=&quot]so, due to I guess what could be considered my [FONT=&quot]trigger event I decided to become the w[FONT=&quot]andering hero Spirit. I had found that my abilities allowed me to m[FONT=&quot]anipulate the elem[FONT=&quot]ents around me with a simple thought or gesture and if I tried hard enough I could will it [FONT=&quot]into exist[FONT=&quot]e[/FONT]nce, my body coursed with some strange energy that I guessed could be mana or some other term and it made me stronger. It allowed me [FONT=&quot]to [FONT=&quot]do what I was capable of and when I wa[FONT=&quot]sn't feeling lazy I had definitely saved people before. It was strange being praised for something that [FONT=&quot]just seemed like the right thing to do, especially by complete strangers. I had no need for a mask usually, while serious my eyes chan[FONT=&quot]ged color[FONT=&quot] my hair [FONT=&quot]elongated and I generally gave off a different aura, while it wasn't impossible to connect the dots no one had so far.

[FONT=&quot]I am now 26 and I find myself back in Hyperia, just kind of wandering a[FONT=&quot]round I guess. I was sort of running out of money and had decided that maybe I should visit my parents and see how their doing[FONT=&quot], if their still here that is. If it came down to it I could just call them or just access [FONT=&quot]my bank account that I had[FONT=&quot]n't touched in [FONT=&quot]years[FONT=&quot], but honestly I had to say I missed my parents just a bit. While the fight going down on the other side of the city was taking place Layfe had been skulking around a bit and had found himself in a rather bad situation, said bad situation being running into another Sekirei. A whooshing sound flew right over his ear reminding him he was still currently in a fight. "Would you stop with the whip!" He yelled as he tumble rolled out of the way of another crack of the whip that cracked the ground as it hit.

The women opposite of him pushed the glasses up on her face before she spoke. "Now why would I do that? My beautiful master wants you and so she'll get you, she doesn't mind if I have a bit of fun as well." The woman was tall with long black hair and about his own height, though that could be due to the heels she was wearing, and was wearing a standard red and white priestess outfit. In her hand was the blasted whip that she had nearly tagged him with a few times in which he had barely managed a counter.

As her whip hit him in the arm he was simultaneously knocked out of my thoughts as well as backwards gritting his teeth in pain. He wasn't some anime character who could have an entire flashback during a fight without repercussions so of course this was the result of Layfe getting too absorbed in his own thoughts. "Ouch." He muttered as he got up from where he was on the ground, luckily enough he had managed to drag the fight to the park before he was really attacked else this would've been much worse.

"It only hurts at first, you'll love it soon enough." That was enough to quickly make him shake off the bit of pain in his arm and straighten up. He wasn't a masochist and most definitely didn't plan on becoming one any time soon. Pointing his finger at where she stood an orb of darkness shot towards her quickly which she quickly whipped however he had already shot three more.

"Hmm, maybe you'll make this a bit fun after all." The woman smiled before her whip suddenly sped up and annihilated the three orbs. However as they dissipated Layfe was no longer in sight, he had withdrawn to the trees in the park. It was a bit more dense than the average area which gave him a bit more to work with and enough time to form his other primary weapon. "Alright time to kick things up a notch."

He focused intensely as an orb of darkness coalesced in between his hands and took the shape of an item he hadn't used in a moment, his bow. While he wasn't bad at physical fighting he was much better at archery seeing as he was pretty limited with what he could do until he was potentially partnered with a Sekirei. Sitting up in the branch of the tree he waited for the right moment.

The crunch of gravel told him that the woman was getting closer to him and he started preparing as a single arrow formed into his hand and he notched it. "Oh, come out my dearie. It's such a shame that you're hiding from me, that'll just make so much more fun to find you though~." Her tone was one that made him shiver for it was far too seductive, it'd be a good thi- he meant shame that he'd have to silence it.

"Fly true my arrow." He spoke softly as he released the notched arrow and watched as it zoomed towards her. It all happened so fast for him to really understand what happened, but he had underestimated the female Sekirei's ability a bit too much as just as the arrow was about to nail her in the forehead her arm blurred and knocked the arrow off course so that it only grazed her cheek.

"Found you~." Her whip wrapped around his torso as he was forcibly yanked from his perch in the tree and slammed him into the ground. "Ugh!" He let out a groan of pain as she released her grasp on him and then he felt what he assumed her whip crack against his back multiple times in succession and trust and believe it hurt. "Oh, did I break you?" She asked amusedly as she stared at Layfe as he forced himself up to his knees.

Walking over to him she grabbed his face as he looked up at her defiantly and a smile grew on her face. "It'd just be so much easier if you submit to my Master, me and her can show you such a fabulous time. We saw your little performance with those chains of yours and my Master just couldn't resist the opportunity to have you to herself." As she talked Layfe had subtly put his hand against her shadow and tried to set up his escape route.

She leaned in even closer as he could now feel her breath on his ear as she spoke. "Why don't we put my whip and your chains together and have a fun time..." Layfe almost wanted to scream like a little girl, he was all for love, even if he didn't understand it well, but this chick was just...too much. "Um...as much as I would like to accept your invitation...I kind of have to go...bye! Chains quickly lurched upwards from the female Sekirei's shadow and wrapped around her as Layfe jumped into the nearest shadow and bolted. As Layfe jumped through the shadows the female Sekirei was laughing amused at his last move, or more likely the entire situation.

"He's quite the slippery one, I'll get him next time though. Until then I'll just relax here for a bit and enjoy the present he gave me." She smiled a demure smile as the present she was referring to were the chains, it was a good day for her indeed. Sekirei Number 24 was very happy indeed, after all it wasn't every day she was chained up so tightly. She'd just go back to her master later, she wouldn't mind much.

On Layfe's side of things he had a pretty bad headache as he came out in a random alley way, he had kept pretty much Shadow Jumping until he was somewhere random in the city. Anywhere but near the female Sekirei from earlier was fine with him, however his body was pretty bruised. That whip had hurt quite a bit and being slammed against the ground didn't help him much either. His jacket had tears in the back and he was all scuffed up, today just wasn't his day. As he tried to walk out the alley-way he stumbled a bit and subsequently tripped over the garbage can conveniently in front of him and fell to the ground with the can itself some how not.

Today really wasn't his day was it?

Powers/abilities/weapons/etc:

• Molecular Vibration Control: Complete control over vibrations on a molecular level. Can excite or dampen molecules, allowing control over heat, tangibility, and even physical structure. Primarily used to create shock waves.
• Sound Generation: Ability to cause physical vibrations with complete control over amplitude and wavelength, as well as control over where the sound is coming from.
• Enhanced Hearing: Enhanced ability to process sound.
• Accelerated Healing: Slightly increased healing.

Strengths:

• extensive understanding of sound physics
• extensive musical knowledge

Weaknesses:

• lack of awareness of extent of abilities
• only defensive ability (intangibility) cannot be used in conjunction with offensive abilities

• 10-meter range for shock/sound waves (for now, at maximum strength will extend to 30 at most)

• power consumes a lot of energy, needs to consume much more food than normal

Here is an update, hopefully this is better. I added the range on the abilities, and I made it so that he can only act offensively or defensively. Also, his only defensive technique, besides repulsion, is intangibility, which consumes way more energy than most of his powers, and it can't be held for long. Besides that, if Richard is hit by anyone with above-average strength, he's likely to be in the hospital for a week, maybe less due to his slightly accelerated healing.

Personality: Johann Drape is a sore loser. That is the truth. plain and simple. He hates to lose and hates it when things don't go his way. Being the only son of a millionaire he is also very spoiled. He will say anything to get what he wants, he will do anything to get what he wants, and he will use anyone to get what he wants. He has never been denied anything. EVER. If he doesn't get what he wants, he will make sure that everyone else suffers as well.He will not take his loss with pride, but would rather hide that shame and begin to plot against his opponent. He knows he is better than everyone else and will always go out of his way to prove it. Be it through skill or flat-out cheating.

Powers: Technopathy- Power over machines. He only needs to see the machine to know how it works, how to utilize it, and how to destroy it. He can combine machines to create new ones.
Magnetism- Self-explanatory
Metal-bending-able to bend metal into any shape.

Strengths: Willing to do whatever it takes to win. Johann is not afraid to do the dirty work if it means that he wins in the end. Johann is also very creative in the use of his powers, he is limited to only what he can imagine.

Weaknesses: Spoiled Brat. He knows he is the best and no one can compare. Therefore, he thinks that he should always get what he wants. Johann is also very dysfunctional in team settings, he is always assuming that all of his teammates are worthless and are just tools to help him attain his goals. He also has very little combat experience himself. He lets his machines fight while he stays in the back orchestrating the battle.

Origin Story: Johann was born an autistic and sickly child. His mother had passed away during childbirth. His father, Richard Drape owner of Drape Industries, knew that Johann would not last any longer than 10 years. So he asked numerous doctors and scientists for their opinions and solutions for his boy's disease. His search bored no fruit, but he couldn't let go. Richard Drape went mad looking for answers, testing theories, experimenting on children, recruiting a number of the world's leading minds to find an answer for his son's disease. Then the answer came in the form of a parasitic A.I. discovered by a Doctor S. Tark. The A.I. as explained by Dr. Tark, would rid Johann's body of the deteriorative disease, while increasing his ability to function on a normal human level. Richard, desperate for answers agreed immediately to the transplant.

Doctor S. Tark immediately started the operation on Johann, who was 4 at the time. The parasitic A.I . was implanted into Johann's brain. The effects were immediate, for the first time in four years Johann spoke to his father. For the first time in four years, Johann was walking. For the first time in four years, Johann could think. Johann's father, Richard, was overjoyed at the sight of his son alive, he knew that his son deserved nothing but the best from this point on, having to suffer being a near-death state for the first-four years of his life. Doctor S. Tark was nowhere to be found after the operation.

It wasn't until his tenth birthday that Johann's powers started manifesting. At first it was simple, he knew how to take apart and put together a calculator. After a few days, he started taking apart and upgrading his father's computers. By the time he was 11 he had already built a number of robots, all of which he built by discovering that he had complete control over metal. He could move it anywhere he wanted, he could control all types of metal and he could control what shape or form the metal could be. At this his father was amazed, but frightened. He attempted to find Dr. Tark for an explanation. That was on Johann's 12 birthday. When Johann's father disappeared, his business partners took control of Drape Industries. Taking everything that Johann and his father had built and leaving nothing for him. Johann angry at his father's business partners, left his home to start planning his revenge. Johann returned when he was 17 and tore down Drape Industries and everyone that was affiliated with his father's company.

I... Feel like I made my character way too human for this RP. She seems like that kid in an X-men movie whom you forget after her only scene, while the rest of you seem like something from Disney's The Incredibles.

Appearance: Hivemind is an old man, and possess traits typically of one: a balding head of sparse, silvery hair, sagging, blemished skin and worsening posture. The most notable features of him, however, are the various wounds that are literrered across his body. Such examples are a gaping hole where his left eye should be, now used as an entrance and exit point. Various cuts, scrapes, and scabs indicate the many burrows such insects have placed on him.
Attire: Hivemind is almost always seen in a hospital gown, hooked up to a variety of different machines that moitor his vital signs and otherwise take care of his well-being. In his younger days, when he was an idyllic young super hero, he had a fanciful costume. (desciption coming)
Personality: Most of the time, Hivemind is a calm and rational person. Due to his old age and the destruction of his body, however, he is prone to fits of senility. Often times he will lose all sense of who he is or what he is doing without so much as a moment's notice. While he almost always regains his mental faculties later, he remains nearly completely oblivious that such things are even occuring. Believing that in his younger days he lived a shameful life, he has spent his later years trying to repent for his actions, the only way he can--by saving the world one villain at a time. He doesn't really bother himself so much with the casual bank robber or hostage situation in his old age, electing instead to save those jobs for the younger heroes who look good for the camera and make a quaint little story on the news. Instead, he focuses much of his efforts trying to foil the more dastardly plans of what some might call "super villains."

Where he once sold out his morals to make the highest profit, Tobias is now disgusted with his past actions. As a result, if he sees anyone display similar traits as he did in his youth, he is quick to scold them, often without even realizing it. While he has had many a year to reflect and grow from his past mistakes, he seems to have little patience for those who haven't already reached his level of "enlightenment." Most people view him as a bitter old man, and those people would be right. Despite having an estimated net worth of around $93 billion, and despite all the places he was able to expand his company into, what many would largely consider a successful life, he views his past as nothing but a failure. Having realized that all the money in the world was not worth the sacrifices he made in the naievty of his youth.

Powers: Hivemind possesses control of as insects and arachnids. In order to have control over them, he must have an athropod representative of the species living within him in a symbiotic relationship of sorts. Those same creatures can be asborbed by him, their genetic material going to heal him and repair damage done to his body.

In recent years, however, it is rumored that he has eyes and ears all over the world, the memories and feelings of all the insects being linked to his own conscious. If his physical state is anything to judge by, then it is certainly true.

Strengths: Hivemind controls millions if not billions of different arthropods and can do so with a simple telekenetic link that he shares with them. Any sort of phenomenon that they observe or stimuli they encounter, it is as if Hivemind was there to experience it himself.

If he opts to sacrifice the bugs, he can use them heal himself at an extraordianary rate.

Weaknesses: Due to the extent he is using his powers, he is very frail in both body and mind.

He can only control any arthopod that is currently living in his body. If it is removed, he loses control over it.

They are mostly just insects. While a swarm of hundreds of bees might be menacing, they have no special properties and a blast of fire will incinerate them just as easily as if it were a natural occurence.

Personality: Johann Drape is a sore loser. That is the truth. plain and simple. He hates to lose and hates it when things don't go his way. Being the only son of a millionaire he is also very spoiled. He will say anything to get what he wants, he will do anything to get what he wants, and he will use anyone to get what he wants. He has never been denied anything. EVER. If he doesn't get what he wants, he will make sure that everyone else suffers as well.He will not take his loss with pride, but would rather hide that shame and begin to plot against his opponent. He knows he is better than everyone else and will always go out of his way to prove it. Be it through skill or flat-out cheating.

Powers: Technopathy- Power over machines. He only needs to see the machine to know how it works, how to utilize it, and how to destroy it. He can combine machines to create new ones.
Magnetism- Self-explanatory
Metal-bending-able to bend metal into any shape.

Strengths: Willing to do whatever it takes to win. Johann is not afraid to do the dirty work if it means that he wins in the end. Johann is also very creative in the use of his powers, he is limited to only what he can imagine.

Johann is also very dysfunctional in team settings, he is always assuming that all of his teammates are worthless and are just tools to help him attain his goals. Origin Story: Johann was born an autistic and sickly child. His mother had passed away during childbirth. His father, Richard Drape owner of Drape Industries, knew that Johann would not last any longer than 10 years. So he asked numerous doctors and scientists for their opinions and solutions for his boy's disease. His search bored no fruit, but he couldn't let go. Richard Drape went mad looking for answers, testing theories, experimenting on children, recruiting a number of the world's leading minds to find an answer for his son's disease. Then the answer came in the form of a parasitic A.I. discovered by a Doctor S. Tark. The A.I. as explained by Dr. Tark, would rid Johann's body of the deteriorative disease, while increasing his ability to function on a normal human level. Richard, desperate for answers agreed immediately to the transplant.

Doctor S. Tark immediately started the operation on Johann, who was 4 at the time. The parasitic A.I . was implanted into Johann's brain. The effects were immediate, for the first time in four years Johann spoke to his father. For the first time in four years, Johann was walking. For the first time in four years, Johann could think. Johann's father, Richard, was overjoyed at the sight of his son alive, he knew that his son deserved nothing but the best from this point on, having to suffer being a near-death state for the first-four years of his life. Doctor S. Tark was nowhere to be found after the operation.

It wasn't until his tenth birthday that Johann's powers started manifesting. At first it was simple, he knew how to take apart and put together a calculator. After a few days, he started taking apart and upgrading his father's computers. By the time he was 11 he had already built a number of robots, all of which he built by discovering that he had complete control over metal. He could move it anywhere he wanted, he could control all types of metal and he could control what shape or form the metal could be. At this his father was amazed, but frightened. He attempted to find Dr. Tark for an explanation. That was on Johann's 12 birthday. When Johann's father disappeared, his business partners took control of Drape Industries. Taking everything that Johann and his father had built and leaving nothing for him. Johann angry at his father's business partners, left his home to start planning his revenge. Johann returned when he was 17 and tore down Drape Industries and everyone that was affiliated with his father's company.

Bidoof obviously has the say in this but I think you should stick to one of your three powers as they can all be very useful and powerful. Or maybe two? And Magnetism isn't self-explained so you should probably add on to that one. But this is just general hints, Bidoof will let you know if he wants you to edit it in any way.

Okay, firstly, that thing made me laugh my ASS off. -Seriously-. Smilies going 'ayy', Giron looking like... that, Star Gazer being a star, Nerties just shrugging like "Well, WATER you gonna do"... god. What a way to start a day.

Secondly, I leave for a couple hours and sleep, and you guys add THREE pages to the OOC?! Jesus H. Christ! It took me almost half an hour to read through all of it! I did enjoy reading it all. What a rollercoaster of emotions this chat has become.

So, while reading up, I found Deceptio's 'Renegade VS everyone' post, and I'm gonna have to say yes, if it was a surprise fight between him and Quantum, she could probably win after a bit of fighting, but if he had just a -tiny- bit of time, he could take her out real easy.

See, Quantum doesn't know martial arts. Sure, she could punch a hole in a wall, but if he's a master of martial arts, deflecting, dodging and not getting hit, her strength really doesn't help much either. Her energy-blasts might deal some damage, but like 90% of it would be absorbed by his armor.

Anyways, I love -all- of your characters, and I think it'll be so much fun interacting with all of y'alls :3
