Night Three

It was an easy day for the Humans. The spirits had been rather helpful, guiding them right to Patchouli. Dragging her from her library, she had seemingly accepted her fate. Seeing that they were unwilling to listen to her pleas, she approached the gallows with as much pride as she could.

As she was hung, her servant Koakuma burst from the crowd sobbing. Her mistress was gone! Powering up a spell, she exploded in a small poof of magic.

Mana is dead! They were Patchouli Knowledge.

It was a quiet night. Maybe the Humans were still shocked by the events of the day. However, a local shopkeeper decided that tonight would be a good night to venture out and see if he could share some of his wares. Meeting up with a ghost, he handed over a crystal.

Making his way back home, he never saw the dark figure that grabbed him from behind and dragged him off into the night.
