I think releases of other Vivillon in the future will be nice. Like for special events, maybe the release of new games etc. Hopefully one day we can catch more than one type in a single game.

The only downfall of an Event is if they decide to give it the HA. There's no fixing that.
 
Frick Shield Dust, I remember when I would use Beedrill in a few of my challenges and I would use it against Viola's Vivillon and wonder why my Poison Sting would never poison her. I recall when Bulbapedia said she had Compound Eyes (although it's since been edited). Way to (sort of) screw me over. >:O

And speaking of which, I only found out yesterday that Vivillon is spelled that way and not Vivilion. Wow.
 
Having learned some spanish, it makes sense how it is said. Just wasn't expecting the double L to make the y sound

For the first few weeks of X and Y's release, I too though it was spelled with a -ion.
 
Hello everybody. I really like to trade. (Even though I do not have any sort of DS anymore.) A will be glad to chit-chat about trading with anybody. So here's my question of the day.

what was your most luckiest trade ever?

Luckiest? None really, I guess maybe trading a Phione for a Zygarde. Or a Vivillon for a Ho-Oh but it was a Sandstorm so not that unusual to get a Legendary for it....

Do note that almost all of my trades with EV end up going HEAVILY my way so you might be able to count any of those lol.
 
My luckiest trade was probably the one that brought me here, haha! I needed a Vullaby but had no one to trade with so I did a Google search and wound up here. Found a very nice shop that's now closed, and found myself sticking around.

Would...wonder trades count? I got a Yveltal for trading an Anticipation Eevee away. That was pretty lucky and unexpected for me xD

I traded my cousin one of my Meganiums for one of his Shiny Charizards. He's wonderful!
 
I don't think it does, since you get other things in return. xD;; Oh man; it's been a while since I had last given away any of stuff to anybody.

Luckiest trade? Hm.. the other day, when I have EV check my TSV.... and we come to find out a few minutes after that, that she had a matching Absol egg for me! So she sent it over, and BAM! SHINY ABSOL WITH MY OT!!!
And a few weeks ago, when I was finishing my set of Normal Vivillons, I got swarmed in like, 3 or 4 offers, and not only got the last 2 patterns I was missing, Lunis gave me a Shiny Icy Snow Vivillon! It. Is. SO. Pretty.

On some lesser scale: a day or two ago, I arranged a trade with someone for 3 HA pokes, and he was just like "Send me any HAs ya got a bunch of". (Hooray, I don't need to type out my huge list again, and I can offload some excess babies, and I still get something to add to my collection.)
and trading a bunch of HA pokes for a Shiny Genesect. (I thought I'd have to trade another shiny or event for it, and that I'd end up with a Shiny Flygon or Sandslash instead.)
and trading a Megastone for a Shiny Eevee.
and all of those Shinies & Legendaries I got from giveaways. Especially when I talked this one person into giving me a Happy Hour Smeargle, and then traded it to someone else for a Mew. XD
Aaaaand, I got into this passerby trade, and came out a French Shiny Charizard, and Shiny Articuno... at least, I'm pretty sure it was the same trade. I think I traded something like a Latios and Phione for them? Easily replaced.
