So I've been chilling at Yveltal doing my SR thing for IV and for some reason my Syncronizer isn't passing 100% like it did in my last save. Maybe it's only 100% if you beat the game? Disappointing to say the least. Whatever this Yveltal will be awesome when I finally get it.

Good luck and I hope it comes soon buddy:)

Synchronize has and has always had a 50% chance of passing the nature. I'd say you were very lucky in your last save

Vaporeon is a great Pokémon. I don't think you're giving it proper credit.

Also my comment above regarding Flareon was in reference to an Eeveelution team.

Oh, I didn't know you played gen 5 doubles. How do you deal with Taunt Thundurus and (insert common lead here, often Rotom-W)? Vaporeon in doubles is a sitting duck without some way to counter Thundurus and Rotom-W. Oh, and let's not forget the ever-resilient Cresselia.

My oh my, you PC Supporters are fiesty.

I think he was talking about singles only.

But just as how every Pokemon has it's place in singles, I'm sure every mon (including Vaporeon) has it's place in doubles.

Of course I may just be putting in useless input...

On a side note, I just breeded a Modest, hopefully good IVs (I haven't checked) Charmander. With Dragon Pulse :)

Speed trade events annoy me. Which is why I've never joined one... lol. Let's have a random egg swap in the future. :<

I'm pretty much a viper, I'll admit it. I make smart-alek comments more than not. But yeah, if he was applying singles knowledge to a doubles meta, it normally doesn't work out well. General rule when it comes to singles players converting to doubles is to forget EVERYTHING Smogon has ever taught you other than general knowledge like IV breeding and EV training.

When converting from one format to another, you start anew. Always. Doubles knowledge doesn't help much in triples and using singles knowledge in triples is often a disaster waiting to happen.

Sounds fun! I'm fairly busy lately but I will see if I can participate when I get home. /thumbs up

On another note, I am unhappy with my docile natured pokebank Celebi. To fix that I will drown myself in breeding skill link Minccinos.

I've never found a use for Umbreon. I am newer to Doubles but I see Fighting being ran for coverage just as much as Electric and Ice. I also can seem to figure out what Umbreon actually does that another Pokémon can't do and it isn't outclassed in.

I mean don't get me wrong, I love using my favorite Pokémon too. NU Charizard in Gen 5 OU? Oh yes but that isn't to say it was always the best choice. Hell if I can't fill a 6th spot on a team I throw Ditto in just cause. Doesn't mean it's the best. Umbreon simply doesn't have much to offer.

There's really no use at all for Umbreon in doubles... unless you want to try to use some weird set-up like Toxic stall or Parafusion. It's just... bleh!! It's not bulky enough to withstand attack barrages, it's not strong enough to make a half-baked attacker, and there's no point in having it be a supporter because there's at least 5 other 'mon that does Helping Hand support better.

I need a friggin' Umbreon figurine. At least then I can use it as a paperweight.

This is actually interesting. Charizard Y almost NEVER runs Modest. I'm curious as to what you might OHKO that you would miss by going Timid.

Guys....you have to ask keiran to see his trainer pr video......I'm still cleaning out my underwear.

That made me very curious.

EDIT: Do go watch it guys! It is amazing!

Yveltal, Timid, 31/31/21/31/31/31

Not good enough. This angers me.

And keep going Azire, you'll get it.

That's really close though. I think I'd be upset to be so close and just missing the mark.

Just for reference, do you check the stats during the battle against Lysandre when it's summoned into your party, and then reset if you know it doesn't have what you want? Or do you wait it out? I'd do the former personally, I did that once with Reshiram in Black against N.
