Anybody know how to solve this problem? I have been completely locked from Bank for some time.

When i got that error message it was because during a transfer something went wrong and pokebank wanted me to use the same game it occurred in to fix it. Use the game of the ID it gives you and it should fix. At least it did for me. /:

It looks like he IS using the same game as it lists. It's a very peculiar predicament.

Do you use anything like Powersaves, Aeroblast?
 
Yes. It happened while I was cloning. It probably has to do with that, but still, I don't know why it would cause that. I tried restoring with all the saves I used during that time.

My guess is that it's looking for data that isn't there because you changed the save data. Have you tried using the other game?

Having a little understanding of how some programs work, I would be inclined to agree. That is one thing that I have read about, that turns me off of the Powersaves.

I got that error a few times. To fix it I simply had to accept the BP/Pokemile rewards in-game.

But if that's the case, then shouldn't you technically be unable to clone using Powersave?

You mean through Pokemon Link? Because it didn't seem to work. I'm still having the same problem.
 
Not always. As someone earlier said, it's trying to fix an error and needs the game that it happened with. If the data from said error is missing on that cart because you restored to a point where that data wasn't there, then it can't fix it and is stuck. I'm not sure what you can do to fix this.

I suppose it couldn't hurt to try uninstalling and reinstalling Bank. Won't lose any data since it's all stored online.

I know what you're saying (at least I think), but I have all the saves from when I was using the thing in that period and tried practically everything. I have no clue what went wrong, but even if I did know for sure, I don't know how to solve it. I've tried everything to come up with no solution.

If nothing else, I'd appreciate it if someone knows where to use that support ID that the Bank provides.

There could possibly be a way, but you'll need to act fast.


Plug the powerSAV into your computer, and then go to the powerSAV location from your computer.

Browse for any file you can, and copy them into a folder.


Then download a file recoverer, a quick google search will pull one up. We'll need to find your most reccent save, the one that got jacked up. Copy that.

Now if you got that far, switch out the sav from the powerSAV folder and device itself, with the file you recovered.

If you can't get that far, I cant think of anything else. You can try uploading stuff to a dropbox or other file sharer, and i'll take a look in the morning.



EDIT: If all fails, use the support number bank gives you. Call nintendo, claim you reset your game for a friend, and now you cant access your bank to retrieve the pokemon.

I'm gonna say that support is probably the best option. Try re installing Bank first too, which I doubt would work but you never know.
 
Not sure if email is the best way to go about this, but I hope I get an answer tomorrow at least.

This problem could be because I disconnected as I was saving data (which is 0% my fault and 100% the fault of ****** comcast) so it might not have anything to do with Powersave, but why it happened is not important for me as I've tried everything I possibly can. Either way this has been a total train wreck.
 
Quick question.... If someone is offering/looking for a pokemon that isn't released/or is hacked , but they are also offering other things, is it necessary to delete the entire post?
I've noticed it happen a few times recently and I know those people also had some legit stuff up for trade (aka shiny vivillon that I can't find the post for anymore because of one pokemon they were also offering, :))

The right term would be legal since we can't ever know for sure the Pokemon is legit. I edit it out unless that's all they were offering. I can't speak for the other mods however. We all have our different style of modding.
 
I went back and edited out the hacks and restored the posts of all the ones I could find. I'll also whip the other three mods and make them do the same.
