Thats interesting, I've never heard of that. Why are Legendaries restricted?
 
and actually believe it or not LOTS of hackers are that stupid
 
So Chains, If I downloaded Pokesav right now, And Sav'd a shiny Modest salamence just like the one in my thread, with the same IVs and everything, could you show me which one was hacked?

Obviously not its not a legend it cant have an Illegal IV Combination -__-
I could tell however if these were present
Was caught in a Ball and had an Egg Move
If it didnt say where it came from correctly like recieved from day care couple ____________ (so on information)
Now would it pass a hack check ( NO! )

EDIT: Yes with RNG Abuse you can get the IV's and Nature you want of any Pokemon thats possible to Abuse

Honestly, can you link this list/source of the possible illegal IV combination like I have asked before?

I have tinkered with X-Act's IV to PID applet, and it is saying that a lot of my chained shinies are hacked (although I have used Synchronize...). Griff also tested some monsters, and overall, the sources seem iffy.

Share your knowledge, not keep us in the darkness only to be slain by you.

I think most veterans checks if the ball, moves, location, etc are right... :/

You could technically just put it on a file on your computer and run a hack check, but I do know how to do that. I have heard people do this before though.

Shoddy has an IV Checker implemented in it, if the IV's you type in are in Red its Illegal :) Note that from whati have heard some pokemon this does not apply for i think generations before D/P/Pt it doesnt so i cannot be sure of this So this is no reliable way to tell but it is a way.....
And by no means im trying to hide any "in the dark" if anything im trying to help

No you have not, if you have then your hack check software was ass

Mine are not bolded beneath your and Italisized ( Dont know if i spelled that right ) Oh and im not replying to the next Post about this this has been discussed enough :D

EDIT: You can also tell a hacked pokemon if it has Illegal Trash Bytes, I would link to an Example but i dont have enough posts So if anyone wants to see the link click on it in my profile ok?

It's not like you assume where one person says they will hack-check your pokemon and they trade it over and 50% of the time get scammed.

The person who wants their pokemon hack-checked post all the information about the pokemon in the thread and one of the seasoned traders here confirms to them whether their pokemon is legit or not.

This is already going on in the DCC and a sticky for it would just reduce SPAM and encourage members unsure about their pokemon to get it hack-checked therefore getting rid of hacks in members trade threads.

Well.... I don't know how to hack check, but I do know someone who really good at hack checking and I'm going to ask him if he's interested in being a member of this site so he can help us. If that's Ok with you guys.

i like some of the ideas u have chains but some of them are overboard your trying to make this site like smogon which its not.
