    Do you remember rifling through those little trash cans, back in the olden games to see if any goodies were inside? And when you did..and got something, the joy? Well I do! And yet, in B/W..It seems as if doing so is fruitless. Every trash can I raid turns up with nothing...So sad *cries*. What do you guys think?:P
     
    There's something near Victini IIRC. But yeah, there really aren't many trash can items in this game and it's kind of silly...it's like, we've been trained from day 1 to do things a certain way, and then they make that pointless.
     
    Yeah, in any game I absolutely detest the item finders..I find them sort of pointless unless you keep it on the WHOLE time your running around, or if you use a walkthrough, though you wouldnt need one then..*shrugs* And I know right? I remember in Yellow just going through each and every trash can or plant pot or w/e just looking for those Potions, or whatever..And then I play White..and BAM! No trash can items yet :/
     
    I've looked in almost every trashcan I've come across, & haven't found an item so far! D;
     
    I know right? I hate how much less things you can find now. I only found 1 item after 4 playthroughs in a trash can, I eventually gave up looking in them altogether.

    Anyway, it's a shame trash cans aren't as useful as they were, but at least they weren't used as a Gym Puzzle this time around. >.>
     
    I never took the time to look in the trash cans throughout Unova because I know that nothing will be in them.
     
    I do it as a force of habit from previous games and it's kinda disheartening that I haven't come up with a single item to reward my efforts...
     
    I was actually excited when I saw the trashcans in BW.
    "Oh nice! They brought them back!"
    But yeah, like everybody has said, the chance of finding items in them is extremely low.
    ...It was disappointing. :<
     
    Well that's more realistic in a sense....how often do we go through trashcans in real life and find rare and/or usable items? hah
     
    I go through them all the time..Never know, might find a slice of pizza (>'.')>. But I mean, they were one of the little things about Pokemon that made my day. Going through a trashcan..Finding a Pokeball, was happy for the rest of the day. But now, I go through every one I see and then disappointment..But I wont give up lol, ill keep looking through them for that one item I may get..XD.
     
    I spent about an hour relentlessly rooting through trash cans in hopes of finding something half decent.

    I was rewarded with a freakin' Potion.
     
    I had a habit of looking through trash cans to see what was in them before Black and White, so when I started to play White, a always looked through trash cans to see what's inside, and I still do, but I've only found something once, and they're definitely in decline. To be honest, I don't really care that they're gone, I just thought they were a useful part of the game.
     
    This really bothered me. On my first playthrough, I went to look into every trash can I passed and almost every time there was nothing in them. It just kinda seems useless to have them if for the most part, they've got nothing in them. It does add a bit of realism to the rooms, but I just don't think they're necessary at this point.
     
    Like the others, I expected there to be trashcans with items in them, but I don't mind, the amount of items found through the dowsing machine in general makes up for that. :D
