Tug o' War Pokémon edition

Oh right... I completely forgot about it, but I did play Smash 64 on the N64. I recall Jigglypuff, but I'd mainly use Yoshi.... I think? Dang that's so long ago xD
Aside from that game I actually never have played any other Smash games though.

I still have the Switch remake/remaster of a PMD game lying around that I wanna play some time.

I'm not really into most of the Pokemon game spinoffs personally. I do love to play SSB Brawl, though my favorite fighter in that is Samus and her MASSIVE laser weapon, missiles, charged laser ball, screw attacking ayone foolish enough to stand next to me... :p (not a Pokemon spinoff, but relevent to the convo topic lol)

For the next round, I think I will make it 10 days long instead of 15, if it is alright with you all.

There are A LOT of Pokemon to choose from for a game like this, and due to just how popular it is thus far, I personally don't have any issue with you shortening the rounds to 10 days.

So far only Pokemon spin off that I played that I loved was New Snap.

Smash64 was too long ago to recall if I liked it.
I just remember occasionally playing it with my brother, and getting bored easily when playing against the cpu.

I've only played 1 PMD game before. I wasn't really a fan of it and stopped pretty early in.

Sounds very similar to my experience all those years ago on whatever that PMD game I played on the DS was.
Played it for for like 6 hours or so and got bored with it and never looked back at it.

I got the Switch one to give it another chance. Tastes & preferences can change over time and I'm also kinda hoping for newer mechanics.

Got other games I wanna play more atm though. Currently still working on my Ice types playthrough of Scarlet.

The Synchro Machine from Indigo Disk basically had playable Pokemon, but it was very limited. It had limited range and your only interaction, while you were your Pokemon, with other Pokemon was attacking them :sadwick:

Kinda hope they expand on it and make a game where you play as a Pokemon, but with a world like SV's.
Unfortunately it's a DLC thing so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a one off and never returned :sadwick:

Never played Colosseum or XD. I never had a GameCube :sadwick:

I did play the first Pokemon Stadium back on the N64 though. The minigames were pretty fun at the time.

5 days left out of 15, and still hovering around 100! Who knows who will win this tug o' war, the fiery dragon, or the fluffy dog ? ^^

I mean Charizard is basically set to win this once you permanently join it's side =P

Can't help but wonder what was going on in the anime here xD
The episode with the race and a Ponyta evolving into Rapidash!
If I remember well, at the beginning, Ash sees a Pokémon (I forgot which) and thinks it is wild, but it is not, and its trainer's Growlithe intervenes to immobilize Charmander, which Ash had sent to fight the other Pokémon. No catching trainers' Pokémon!

That episode is called The Flame-Pokemon-Athon, it's a classic from the Indigo league. This is the scene, Ash wants to capture those Tauros rampaging in the background, but as our unparalleled fact-checker pointed out, Ash has actually stumbled onto a lady's ranch (Laura Laramie) and doesn't know it at first.

Neither Growlithe or Charmander are the focus of this episode though, it's really about the Ponyta she is raising, and Ash becoming a horse whisperer for it. I would recommend for the exciting pokemon racing scenes.
