I can only dream how that can spawn either a goddess or an eldritch abomination

I'm still really excited to watch this new one! When I first watched this P.V I thought it was a simple slice of life/ romance anime, but it has Mystery which is what I'm most excited about!

Her eyes look the same as the male's there, other than the coloring and having a smaller iris in the video preview still.

Disclaimer: I haven't watched the video yet, so if there's weird stuff in the video itself, I haven't seen it yet.

EDIT: Oh, the multi-colored irises?

I actually have watched enough Fairy Tail to know that there's another character that I actually like in the show: Kagura Mikazuchi.

Long Dark colored hair? Check
Hime Bangs? Check

Awesome uniform? Check
Kicked Erza in the gut in a fight scene? Check
Lovely Selius Voice? Check
Looks good in a ball gown and alternative hair? Check

Oh noes? Me actually saying something about mainstream/entry level anime? Then again i geniuenly like Fairy Tail, both in Manga and Anime form

Who is that? Mio and Azu-nyan are the only characters in K-On :P
 
Finally done with Blood C but now I have to settle it with its Movie follow up, which i hope to find its English Dub, should it exist somewhere. Somehow, I've grown to like Saya's English Dub voice, as well as the rest of the main cast, and now i have to allocate one big day for a Last Dark viewing just to finally have some closure.

I was pretty right the whole time... Blood+ was, and will still the the better series than C... C's winning grace for me was Saya K., who i really liked among all of the Sayas.

Maybe i should learn how to write and propose Blood C++.

Okay, enough of my rather wordy rant on Blood C. I have mixed feelings about it... Now time to download the movie!

I meant to say that Fairy Tail Kagura has that womanly serious voice that i love so much, especially if its a katana wielding Long haired Hime cut one.

^ and he meant to say that Saori Hayami is the VA for her and she's brilliant so he understands your opinion on Kagura. :b I love Saori's voice a lot, too. She's a brilliant VA with a very "soft" voice that's just pleasant on the ears. <3

That kind rains a bit on my parade, tbh. I was planning to watch Blood C. I still do, but I'm looking forward to it a little less now haha.
 
that really was a betrayal. i demand my non-existent cash that i spent on it back. it didn't end in one punch i mean wtf that is so wrong on so many levels

On a serious note, that last episode was just a feast for the eyes. Plus, a just discovered SmoothVideoProject and being able to watch it on a software-induced 60fps made the experience even more sweet! <3;
 
Mob Psycho 100's getting an anime too, right? I gotta give it a shot. I've no idea about that series but that it is done by the same person. That's all I know haha.

Did i spoil too much? I think i was really cranky when i made that post D: In all honestly, its not a bad anime, but its no blue diamond like Blood+ was, then again, I'm making unfair comparisons between a 50 Episode vs a 12 Episode anime, even though both belong are Blood series.

Ah no, its okay. I didn't read much. All I read was the fact that the story ended up being slightly underutilized and not upto the mark. :p

I like Erza. She's hot. <3

Is it wrong of me to realize this late why people liked and like One Punch Man and now I really like it as well? Then again, its never too late to like something really awesome.

As far as I can tell, now i know the reasons why OPM (anime) is really loved. Saitama is just an awesome protag, the fight scenes are incredible even with the circumstances given, and the art is pretty nice.

The only disappointment i have with OPM's anime is that its one of those 12 Episode gems. I fear that the 12-13 episode format is a worrying trend for me.

This is an amazing literal opera of violence is from an anime called Souten Kouro. The basic formula of this anime is simply Romance of the Three Kingdoms + Berserk + Powerthirst. It took me ages to find an anime based on ROTK, and i was happy to find Souten Kouro a few years ago. Now sharing this to anime dcc for those who want their own dose of ROTK.

*Disclaimer = Not Chinese here. Some people thought i was such based on my username and my love of spears and dragons D:

By what japanese people define "anime" as - yes, it does.
By what western people generally associate "anime" with - no, it does not.

I personally do. Isn't quite the same but...well, fundamentally speaking, it is an animation. And japanese people do consider anything that's an animation to refer to as "anime" so yeah. I mean, it does make sense to call it that since it is just a short form. XD;

The fact that anime is only used as a word to refer to things that come outta the japanese animation industry is a western thing - it is cooked entirely up by westerners as far as I am aware - it is a very convenient way to distinguish eastern cartoons and western cartoons. I'm speaking from what I gathered from the videos I've seen of japanese people who call american "cartoons" anime because they're animated media.

Although we do have one guy in this forum who absolutely despises it if people call anything that's not Japanese an anime. XD;

tl;dr - it is a slightly controversial topic haha. RWBY in particular is discussed a lot online as far as its categorization into anime is concerned :p
 
I'd say no. For the sake of categorization, which is the whole reason we call anime "anime" and not "cartoons" (which, even still would be accurate) or call manga "manga" and not comics (again, still accurate).

I mean, RWBY's anime styled, but if we call it anime on the basis that the Japanese that call pretty much any form of animation "anime", well it's just as much anime as Hey Arnold!. Which is true, it is. So yeah, it's anime, but generally not in the way that's usually used in the West.
