Dohohohohohoh

seen dat once. but dayumm dat fanmade stuff looks delish.

Edit: OKAY WAIT. I thought it was only the OP that they animated. Turns out they've made entire episodes. Holy shit. How cuh-razeh are Touhou fans for it?!

Salute their dedication, though. :')

Shit like this really is amazing though. It certainly inspires me. When a group of people can do something just so quality stands up there with various other pieces by actual studios, it really hits home for me. luv it so much

Heck, not to steer into Touhou conversation, but this type of stuff, among many other non-animated works, is why I love the fandom of Touhou and Touhou in general. People might find them loud or annoying (I guess? There are certainly louder fandoms, but we're around), but I'd bet there are at least a few people that owe their careers or just their strength in certain skills to this, because it encourages and empowers the individual.

I certainly owe it a lot.

this is a thing too

man i envy their talents. you've got talented people like that on one side.

on the other side I exist. I can't even draw up a drawing for a custom case for my phone (now that it has a transparent case). ;_____;

I agree. Their dedication to it is just unbelievable. Having seen how difficult animating even one scene is, their achievement is just exemplary. I really do respect them. People can really learn from their dedication.

You'd feel this even more if you went to Comiket.

A gigantic hall, filled with people spending their time, passionately producing high quality content. It's something that just makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

These are things that people went pro for or tirelessly worked on as a hobby.

Certainly, we aren't a very loud group. We were in the past. But we've lasted longer than most fandoms have, and we will continue to do so. We outlasted Kancolle just as we always have everything else.

It's also always a pleasure to see things like this, from older people in the fandom:

Some anime does seem to keep their Japanese Music --

But lets be honest , The scene wouldn't funnier without the Japanese song.
Anyway , The Voice acting here is so great .
The English dub of most children anime like Digimon , Pokemon , Beyblade Metal fusion, Bakugun etc are a Joke compare to this.

Most anime these days keep their original Japanese music. And in the past. It's mainly the ones on kids channels that don't (generally just their openings, but depending on their network it can be the full OST.

It's really not as big as a problem for the vast majority of anime as you're making it out to be. Can vouch for this since I watch a lot of dubs, plus I grew up watching weekday/Saturday morning anime, so it comes with the territory.
