That's a fucking shame. I'm really disappointed to hear that. They're a talented bunch though so I'm hoping all of the affected will find a source of livelihood asap. I'm really wishing for that.

To think they'd just disappear though. And I loved Gangsta and recently finished Michiko to Hatchin and had added them to my liked studio list. :(

Not surprising given that their type of show is very much not popular in Japan. Maybe if they had sought more deals with Western financiers and distributors they might not have gone bankrupt. They're all generally well-regarded shows in the West.

I'm kinda unhappy about the fact that I can't get onboard the monogatari train just like that. :( I'll have to start watching the series from the beginning then, I guess.

I'll finish Higurashi first I think. Then watch this. After my exams are over, ofc. Which reminds me...

And Monogatari is best served with quality subs, anyway. And it's typically best to marathon, at least arc by arc, so waiting is becoming a more and more attractive idea.

...Then again, it's ALSO best to wait for the BDs, so I shouldn't push this agenda too far.
