Speaking of kawaii, I just finished Bakemonogatari. Is it weird that I found Sengoku to be the cutest thing ever?!

Not at all, I think that was the intention of her character.

Gonna watch one episode or two of Nise today. Then I plan on marathoning the series after my exams are over which will happen on...the day after tomorrow. So yeah. I will probably be up-to-date or close by next week. :3

Help me out with the order, though? Should I follow MyAnimeList order? Or should I go with some other order? Wotsay, mates?

Bakemonogatari -> Nisemonogatari -> Nekomonogatari: Kuro -> Monogatari Series Second Season -> Hanamonogatari -> Tsukimonogatari -> Owarimonogatari

That is indeed the correct order. It's not the chronological one, but it's the intended one.

And of course Kizu whenever that is out.

It's the Jounetsu de Mune ATSU! of Monogatari (andicansaythatbecausenooooooobodywillgetit). Ah, me and my obscure-ass anime.

Of course, there are a bunch of different ways to watch Monogatari without being spoiled to the rest. That series takes the "vague mention" trope in spades. Don posted the release order, but you can get a lot of mileage out of "Bakemonogatari -> Whatever the **** you want". Hell, that's what you're doing from the moment you start up Bake and they wave the fact that Kizu (and Neko Kuro) doesn't exist in your face. Taunting you.

But yeah, the release order's safe. Chronological would be pretty fun, too, since the show's built for either. If, without context, you just started playing the seasons randomly for some poor, confused sap, though, there's a pretty low chance that you'll get the combination that actually spoils anything, so that can be really fun, too.

Hm, making my anime folder icons is a really fun project, but I wonder what the heck I should do with it. Make a gallery somewhere, I guess. Should probably redo the ones that've got fanart in them, in case someone wants a .zip download.

That's surprisingly far fewer than I thought you'd have made, based on how much I've seen you saying you've spent time on it. Although it does remind me that there are a few series I want on DVD that I don't actually have on DVD yet.

I can definitely get you lists of stuff I've backed up from DVD that you've seen if I remember to do that.

I wish Nichibros would actually be picked up by one of the streaming services. All the clips I've seen indicate it's fun as hell.

Some of these have seen heavy revisions.

...That, and they take a stupid amount of time each to begin with. Cropping promotional art often gets so choppy that I have to redraw the outlines.

I like the character and area designs. Rest is completely uninteresting to me. Shame.
