So I had to do a little bit of training before I was actually able to defeat Roxanne, mainly due to Nosepass and his Rock Tomb but still it was good with Wingull's Water Gun!

No problems at all, and easy 1 Hit K.O with Water Gun!

Again, no real problem here, another 1 Hit K.O by Water Gun!

Had a little bit of a struggle with this Pokémon actually, knocked me out atleast 5 times no thanks to Rock Tomb, but after some training, Wingull and Taillow we're leveled enough to take it down, a couple of Water Guns, a Supersonic nearly no health left, Wingull fainted, Taillow finished off with a quick Wing Attack and grew to Level 14!

Roxanne was defeated!

Defeated Roxanne and obtained my first Hoenn badge!

Taking care of Team Aqua grunts!

After exiting the Gym, I had to help out some guy who had the Devon Goods stolen from him
Battled and defeated the Team Aqua grunt easily, saved Peeko and now it's onto Dewford town!

Finally I got me a sneasel egg and have started my Ice Monotype on Heartgold =D

I've just started so...

Started with Chikorita for maximum difficulty so that my Rival will have a pokemon that my ice types are weak against.

Went to Mr. Pokemon and returned back to New Bark Town. Then I traded my chikorita for a sneasel egg.

Currently I'm training Sneasel. I had a friend name him so he's called Mikuoh. He started out weak, but is starting to build up that nice attack of his.

Start of Ultimate Monotype Challenge #3.

Starting an ultimate Fighting monotype on Yellow. Going Yellow/Gold/Sapphire/Platinum.

Starter: Pikachu

Caught Fury the Mankey on Rt. 22 (and ditched Pikachu), then soloed with Fury till I got a Cubone in Pokemon Tower. Traded Cubone for Ricky the Machoke which evolved into Machamp after receiving him.

Low Kick 2HKOed both Spearow and Eevee.

Low Kick = win.

Lost once, then got the Karate Chops to crit, and Starmie missed a Tackle that would have beat Fury.

Dig OHKO. Only Riachu here, so that was it.

Dig and Low Kick made this easy.

He still has Eevee?

Ricky was disobeying, then was put to sleep, so Fury finished off her last couple Pokemon.

After I got the Rainbow Badge, I went to Rt. 23 (before Victory Road) and fished up Wrath the Poilwhirl with the Super Rod, then evolved him into Poliwrath using a Water Stone.

Right now I am heading to Fuschia City via Silence Bridge.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I got sick, then got swamped at work trying to pick up hours as they had been drastically cut, but I am happy to report I finally beat Misty With Blaze (Charmeleon) at level 34 with the amazing Flamethrower move! <3 K.O.ed Starmie in one hit and Staryu in just 3 :3

Now I am moving on to catch a Growlithe so I have another fire type finally x_X lol

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Fighting).

Update #2 on Yellow.

- Once I got to Fuschia, I got Surf and Strength amd taught them to Wrath and Ricky, respectively.
- I beat Koga pretty easily, then after beating up Cycling Road, I surfed to Cinnabar from Fuschia City.
- When Ricky got to L51 he started disobeying again so I knew I had to get the badge from Sabrina.
- I beat up Silph Co., then Sabrina was defeated.
- Flew back to Cinnabar and cleared the Mansion with the SecretKey.
- Blaine was easy, then it was time for the last badge.
- Giovanni was defeated!
- Then I beat Bruce on Rt. 22 again.

Psybeam/Psychic took down Wrath, then Ricky was able to get Venomoth with Rock Slide.

After Ricky went down due to disobedience, Fury cleaned up with Thrash.

Ricky was able to obey enough to sweep. Earthquake helped a lot.

Fury fought through to Alakazam, then Ricky was able to 2HKO with Body Slam thanks to paralysis (Alakazam used Recover, lol).

Surfed 'im.

Fury beat everyone up to Rhydon, then fell because he kept missing with Dig (damn Sand-Attack...). Ricky finished off Rhydon with a OHKO Submission.

Ricky got to Kadabra, then Fury was able to finish Kadabra then Jolteon was OHKOed by Dig.

I am currently saved at the start of Victory Road.

Accidentally started a Dark Mono on Sapphire and saved over the Poison one. So that's what I'll be doing. Also in my normal Platinum, I beat Wake.

My second update on Water UMC:

I obtained badges four and five in this update; here's an overview of what I did:
-Beat the trainers in Pokemon Tower in Lavender for experience
-Headed over to Celadon City and got an Eevee and evolved it:

-Went to the gym and defeated Erika, which was pretty difficult for my Water type team

-Took care of all the Team Rocket business there;

-Headed over to Lavender and beat the Rockets in Pokemon Tower
-Went back and got a Bicycle when I realized I never got one
-Headed down to Fuschia via Bicycle Road
-Lost to Koga on the first try
-Went into the Safari zone and got Surf
-Headed back to Fuschia and beat Koga easily with Surf

And that's it. Hopefully my next two updates will finish up Kanto and I can continue onto Crystal version.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Fighting).

Final Update (#3) on Yellow.

After getting through Victory Road, my team is: Fury L59, Ricky L60, Wrath L59.

Elite Four is up, down, and defeated!

Thunderbolt took care of Dewgong, Lowbro, and Cloyster, and Submission OHKOed Jynx and 2HKOed Lapras. Fury only took recoil damage in this battle lol.

Surf OHKOed Onix, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Onix, then 2HKOed Machamp while Bruno used an X Defend.

Ricky pushed through a lot of confusion and Lick/Acid damage to get Golbat and Gengar with Rock Slide and Arbok, Haunter and Gengar with Earthquake. All were OHKOs.

Wrath 2HKOed Gyarados with Body Slam, both Dragonairs were Ice Beam/Body Slam combos, Aerodactyl was OHKOed with Surf, then Ice Beam left a sliver of HP for Dragonite to beat Wrath with Thunder. Fury finished off Dragonite with Thrash.

Wrath Surfed Sandslash, then was 2HKOed by Alakazam's Psychic. Fury used Dig on Alakazam and Ninetales and Thunderbolt 2HKOed Cloyster, then fell to Jolteon after missing 3 times with Submission against Jolteon. Ricky then OHKOed Jolteon with Earthquake after getting paralyzed for the win.

On to...Gold or Crystal - prolly Crystal since Poliwag is available before the first gym in Crystal and not in Gold. Mankey is only is Gold, though.

Sneasel swept through Union Cave and Slowpoke Well with easy. When I arrived at Bugsy, he was no match to my Sneasel's Faint Attack and everything went down easily. My Rival was also no match.

I'm continuing on Crystal, with a planned team of Poliwrath, Heracross, and Machamp, although one of the Hitmons (from Odd Egg) is intriguing.

- After the Mr. Pokemon errand, I caught Phiby the Poliwag on Rt. 30, and proceeded to solo with him until Azalea Town/Ilex Forest.
- Sprout Tower was a pain, but I made it through with the help of Hypnosis and lots of Potions.
- After I beat Bugsy and Bruce in Azalea, I got Headbutt in Ilex Forest, and after a long while (during which Phiby evolved into Poliwhirl), Heracross finally appeared in a tree above Slowpoke Well. Named him Ringo after the Beatles drummer.
- Made my way to Goldenrod City, and traded an Abra for Muscle the Machop.
- After beating Whitney pretty easily with Muscles, I went up to Ecruteak City.
- Hung a left and went through Mt. Mortar to Mahagony Town, getting Fisherman Tully's number on the way (Water Stone guy).
- Went back to Ecruteak and beat the Kimono Girls. Taught Surf to Phiby, then saved in the middle of the town.
