CHAPTER 2 - DOUBLE SUCCESS STORY!

Beat Brock's Geodude and then Onix was easy peasy.
Got through Route 3
Bought Magikarp for $500 just to box him.
Caught Spearow but it sucked so I boxed him too.
Got through Mt Moon, catching Clefairy L9 which I got to L15.
Grinded my Pidgey and Rattata both to L20 (meaning they both evolved)
Got a Dome Fossil.
Got to Cerulean City, and beat Misty (easy!!)
Got through Nugget Bridge (including Gary)
All my Pokemon are now L21.

• Just beat Roark so far - on my way to Florama Town.

GSC: don't really have one for the Pokemon names, but I try to name myself the color of the type that I'm using.
RSE: My name is always a gem that reminds me of the type I'm using, and my Pokemon are from a wikipedia list of "shades of _________ (the color that I'm using)
DPPt: Everything comes from the "Shades of _________". I try to find colors I've never heard of before.

Yup, so my Kanto Water Challenge is completed, moving on to Johto! With a total time of 26:45, mostly grinding.

-Beat all Gym Leaders
-Had some difficulty going through Victory Road.
-Trained using the Elite Four until I made it to Gary without items.
-Bought items
-Loreili (or however her name is spelt) went down with Gyrados' Thunderbolts and Fire Blasts
-Bruno was pathetic, only landing one attack on my Lapras
-Agatha was somewhat challenging, managed to beat her with Poliwrath's Earthquake
-Lance was fairly easy due to Blastoise's Ice Beam
-Gary was easy after I brought items.

1st-Gyarados (Almost single-handedly took beat Gary. I love his diversity of moves.

5th-Starmie (Yeah, he didn't do much, really...)

Ok so I beat Wallace single handedly with You Liek?
I then spam battled the interviewer crew untill Mah Lady evolved.
After that I made my way through Victory Road.
The E4 were actually very difficult. The first one (forgot his name) was basically earthquake spam except for the grass types that required eruption. Phoebe was easy. I had Mah Lady crunch up the first mon, then had You Liek? surf up everyone else. Glacia was basically the same thing as the first one, only harder. Drake was really easy. 2 dragon breaths from Mah Lady for the Shellgon, and OHKO ice beams for the rest. Steven was incredibly difficult. Flamethrower destroyed Skarmory, OHKO earthquake for Aggron, a few surfs for Metagross. Cradily was very difficult. I led with You Liek?'s ice beam, only to get giga drained into oblivion. I had to switch to Derp and then it required about 10 flamethrowers in between healings for both parties. Claydol was destroyed by surf, and so was his last mon (Forgot his name).

Got a Zubat (Regalia), beat Roark w/ Rose, eventually beat Mars. Took forever for me to stay alive long enough to Paralyze her Purugly. After that it was easy.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Grass).

Final Update (#3) on Sapphire.

• Got to Fortree City and lost a few times to Winona, but eventully was able to get Pineapple in against Altaria with full health and Ice Beam for the win.
• Headed to Lilycove and did the whole Mt. Pyre/Lilycove Hideout storyline.
• Surfed to Mossdeep and beat Tate and Liza easily with Surf + Leaf Blade.
• Got Dive, and found a Blue shard to get a Water Stone - Pineapple evolved into Ludicolo!
• Beat the underwater and then headed to Sootopolis and beat Kyogre.
• Beat Wallace pretty easily with Pineapple.
• Headed to Victory Road and made it through pretty easily.
• Got Rain Dance and taught it to Pineapple.
• Fought the Elite Four and won, then beat Steven to become the Champion!

Update #2 on Platinum.

• Went to Florama Town and beat the Windworks.
• Got through Eterna Forest, then beat Gardenia easily.
• Continued on to Hearthome City, where I picked up Glacier the Eevee.
• Backtracked a bit to do Wayward Cave, then beat Fantina without much trouble.
• Beat Sleazy on the way to Solaceon, then took out my L10 Golbat out of the box for Defog.
• Beat the Lost Tower, then made my way to Veilstone.
• Bought some vitamins, then beat Maylene - it was a close thing.
• Got Fly and taught it to Golbat, then caught a Marill for future slave purposes.
• Saved in Veilstone City.

Ultimate Bug: Hoenn clear!

cant remember where i was last, but here is my league story

VS Sidney: Sent in Speed Bug. It got 2 Swords Dances on Mightiena's Sand Attack's, and as i didn't want to Pass a -2 accuracy to Armor Bug, i OHKO'ed his whole team with the 100% hit move Arial Ace

VS Phobe: Sent in Speed Bug. With a single Swords Dance, Speed Bug could OHKO the whole team with Shadow ball.

VS Glacia: Sent in Speed Bug. Swords passed to Armor Bug, who OHKO'ed everything.

VS Drake: Sent in Badass Bug (Because Shelgon has Rock tomb with is x4 effective against Speed Bug). Beat Shelgon with Toxic, Sludge bomb and a Hyper Potion. Then used Altaria's two dragon dance turns to let Speed Bug set up to make it OHKO the rest

VS Walace: Sent in Badass Bug. Toxic and Sludge Bomb to awoid its Blizzard From hitting Speed. Then OHKO'ed the rest with Speed Bug's Swords Dancing skills

Bug Pokemon FTW! My easiest E4 run ever! :D

Dominated the first part of the game, but later its use decreased, and at the E4 it only got to Toxic Shelgon and Wailord.

Never got to be the best, as when Badass lost use, Armor came in. From Armors rise, it had the position of Swords passing to Armor, with made a powerful sweeper. However, at the E4 it showed its worth by OHKO'ing all pokemon of the first 3 with 2 swords dances, and also the last 2 where beaten that way after the OHKO treats where beaten by Armor And Badass.

Edit: I want to tell that Daniehej is started on a Ghost Challenge in Soul Silver, and as he is my brother and we share both our DS and games, i will use this for my soon to come ghost ultimate. I will be playing on it too, but leave the posting to him for a change because he chose it. Is this OK? I mean, it feels stupid to do the same challenge 2 times on the same cartridge.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Ice).

Update #3 on Platinum.

• Went to Pastoria from Veilstone, then covered the other side as well. Evergreen evolved into Abomasnow.
• Beat Crasher Wake easily with Grass Knot.
• The Galactic Bomb detonated, and I got a couple quests from Cynthia.
• Went north to Celestic Town, where I beat Cyrus and got Surf.
• Surfed to Canalave Town, where I beat Sleazy with a ton of resets. Infernape and Heracross kept raping me.
• Beat Byron pretty easily with Grass Knot.
• Got Strength, then went to beat Saturn and Mars at the lakes.
• Headed into Mt. Coronet, where I saved.

Easily defeated Crasher Wake. Byzantium is holding an Exp. Share and is now lv. 27.
Did some training on the way to Celestic Town.
Flew to Hearthome.
Byzantium, with its new Night Slash attack, completely crushed the gym single handedly. Also he evolved to Skuntank on the last battle before the Gym Leader. So, he learned Flamethrower.
Taught him Shadow Claw after the battle.
Done for the night. Tomorrow I get my final team member and possibly finish the challenge.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Ice).

Final Update (#4) on Platinum.

• Got through Mt. Coronet and treked all the way to Snowpoint City.
• Went back to the Icy Rock and evolved Glacier, then caught Mammoth the Quirky Swinub.
• Mammoth evolved into Piloswine in the gym, and I beat Candice pretty easily.
• Trained Mammoth up on the Surfing routes I skipped before. (lol, I just realized that I skipped Iron Island altogether, was gonna train Mammoth there but never did, lol)
• Mammoth evolved into Mamoswine right away as well (caught Swinub at L34, Piloswine L35, Mamoswine L36, lol)
• Beat Team Galatic and Cyrus in the HQ and Distortion World.
• Went to Sunyshore and destroyed Volner with Earthquake.
• Surfed to Victory Road and barely made it out.
• Beat Sleazy with difficulty - eventually pushed through Heracross and Infernape to win.
• Used Rare Candies to get Glacier and Mammoth to L62 and Evergreen to L63.
• Took on the Elite Four and won pretty easily, then took on Cynthia, who put up a good fight, but I eventually was crowned Champion!

Mammoth took out Yanmega, Scizor, Glacier took out Heracross and Vespiqueen, and Evergreen finished Drapion.

Mammoth was fortunate not to take a hit - Whiscash set up Sandstorm while geting 2HKOed by Ice Fang, Earthquake crit OHKOed Rhyperior, and Hippowden was flinched by Ice Fang for a 2HKO. Gliscor and Golem were OHKOed by Ice Shard and Earthquake, respectively.

This was a LOT easier than I thought. Mammoth swept with 5 OHKO Earthquakes. He took damage from Infernape's Flare Blitz, and that was it. He even outspeeded Rapidash, which shocked me.

The toughest E4 battle apart from Cynthia. Had to Revive Glacier to take out Gallade with Shadow Ball, and Mammoth finished with an Ice Shard OHKO (with Hail damage) on Alakazam and 2HKO on Espeon.

Cuz i dont have access to the DS all the time, i needed a challenge on my emulator, with became part 1 of my Ghost ultimate.

Started with hacking a bit:
- Made my starter a Ghastly with Sludge Bomb (For beating normals)
- Made Haunter able to evolve in lv 40

Then i did all the beginning stuff and beat Brock. Im at Mt moon's entrance now.
Update: Got through mt moon and beat my rival while waiting to get home to my internet

I'm thinking about Sapphire Monotype challenge with Water. It's my first monotype challenge so I don't want it to be too hard.
Mudkip, Lotad, Wingull, Spheal and Chinchou for the attackers and I'll get a Zigzagoon to be a HM slave. I wish there was a Water/Fihting in this game but... C'est la vie.

I've really gotten some tempo behind this kanto Ghost one:

OHKO'ed Misty, Milf, Lt Surge, Giovanni and Milf again. Then i caught Haunt (I know, im just copying the names of my brothers Ghastly's, but whatever :P) Currently beating all the trainers i skipped from rock tunnel to celadon + the fishermen.
