(Real) Final Update for Flying UMC!

Final Update (#4) on White. My Flying UMC is completely done now!

• So I traveled around eastern Unova, getting all three of my birds to L71-ish, before I decided to catch a Braviary named Warmonger. I know, I should have caught it earlier, but I went the wrong way, apparently.
• Anyway, it was at L60, so it wasn't too difficult to train up.
• I then went around and beat Cheron for the last time, and then beat Morimoto in the Game Freak building, then finally beat Cynthia in Undella Town as well.
• Before challenging the Elite Four, I used Rare candies to get Hunter to L75, and the other three got to L76.
• Challenged the Elite Four and won without too much trouble, though I did have to use all four members on Shauntel and Grimsley.
• Then I challenged Alder, and barely won! Archer was my closer, getting Volcarona with one Stone Edge and Druddigon with two.

thank you, jdthebud. So, here's my update.

Started on platinum. Picked Penguin, the piplup. Lost to my rival.. ridiculous.. No matter. Went to the lake. Saw a mysterious man! After he left, we heard the mysterious pokemon! We left to go thank prof. rowan for our pokes. Fast forward...

Got to jubilife. Met looker and gave my rival his parcel. Penguin at level 11, beats my rival with just bubble.. To long of a battle it was.. Got to the coal city, went to the coal mine, caught Train, the onix, evolved him to Steelix and trained him to 11(penguin at 17). Challenged rorark and pretty much dominated with penguin.

Done for now.. possible that ill update later tonight.

Right-o, I did the whole Green Gold and Booze Challenge Event thing, making sure I only used Grass types. So imma go ahead and count that as my 3rd Gen Grass segment. Looks like I'm on Sinnoh now for both Steel and Grass. Really looking forward to the Grass part; Torterra's one of my favorite 4th Gen Pokemon.

Caught Cacnea (Ran out of actual St. Patty's names that I could think of at the moment, so had to improvise)

Got Ice Beam, also to Lombre. He is now ready to do stuff before I fight Winona.
Paused for a sec to consider final Movesets.
Taught Rock Tomb to Sceptile.

Cacnea Evolved!
Got Devon Scope.
Defeated Winona, taught Sceptile Aerial Ace.
After being given an Orb, I took a quick trip to route 123 to get Giga Drain for Lombre.
Went to a class and came back. Went to Slateport to see the sub get jacked.
F'hargon learned Needle arm finally.
Did other stuff
Final two gym leaders? Puh leez.
Got to Elite Four. Searched for a couple of final TM moves.
Sydney: Easy work for Shamrock and some help from Clover
Phoebe: Sweep w/ F'hargon
Glacia: Almost w/ Shamrock, gotta love that Miracle Seed boosted Giga Drain! Walrein got lucky w/ Blizzard, so F'hargon had to finish the battle
Drake: Almost sweep w/ Clover after 6 Rare Candies were administered. Gotta love Dragon Claw! (Shamrock had to finish off Altaria though, as Salamence almost OHKO'd Clover w/ Flamethrower and Altaria fainted her w/ something.
Champ: Don't make me laugh.

Not really sure on who the MVP of my team was... It was definitely Clover at the beginning, but she lost usefulness as the other two got better. Would have been fine with any of them as starters. Shamrock was really useful with HM Juggling. At one point (Seafloor Cavern), she knew 3 (Dive, Surf, Strength)

Daycare is perfectly fine, and you can train him if you only fight wild Pokemon. You aren't allowed to fight trainers, though.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Dark).

Started Hoenn leg on Ruby.

Name: Shade
Starter: Treeko

• First I caught a Zigzagoon Pickup army (four).
• Then I caught Woody the Seedot on Rt. 102. Grinded her to L7 before taking on trainers.
• Got through Petalburg Forest and taught Woody Bullet Seed. Yay an actual attack! She learned Nature Power shortly afterwards as well.
• Woody evolved into Nuzleaf before I took on Roxanne.
• Beat Roxanne easily with Growth + Bullet Seed.
• Got to Dewford and delivered Steven's Letter.
• Beat Brawly with difficulty - reset a few times.
• Got to Slateport and started dominating everyone up to Mauville, including May, although Combusken was hard to get past.
• Then Woody learned Faint Attack, which was awesome.
• Beat Wattson pretty easily with Faint Attack - I did have to use a Full Restore against Magneton.
• Circled up around to Fallarbor and down through Meteor Falls.
• Went up Mt. Chimney and beat Maxie easily.
• Hopped down to Lavaridge, when Flannery was no match for an overleveled Woody with Faint Attack.
• Saved in the desert.

Update to my UMC Fire: Johto.

I've had really bad allergies lately, so my eyes twitch if I'm on my DS too long. -_-; But despite that, I got on the good ship Battler *cough* and fought my merry way across the ocean. Celebrated getting to Kanto by pummeling Lt. Surge. He paralyzed 3 of my Pokemon, but didn't really attack. :/ You'd think a Gym Leader would know better.

After defeating Surge, went through Diglett Cave.
Got Flash.

Went to Cerulean from Vermilion and went east.

Went through Rock Tunnel.

Went on Underground path.
In Celadon, received Eevee level 25.
Went west to receive Fly.

Tried and failed to train Eevee on Gym trainers.

Went to Game Corner and entered Rocket hideout.

Okay, I just caught a rattata in route 29. It's my best option so far, and it has a good attack and okay defenses for its level. From this point on, totodile won't get any experience. He'll be an hm slave, sure, but he won't be used in battles.

My Ground Ultimate is still on hold, I've just got no motivation to play through Emerald at the moment. I'm before the last gym there, but I won't be playing on for a while.

So, to have something different between one White run after another, I started a Water Ultimate and began playing on Leafgreen.

I'm now before the Grass gym with:

Buddy the Blastoise
Ligori the Gyarados
and
Jenga the Vaporeon

I solo'd with the water starter until the Pokecenter in front of Mt. Moon, where I bought the awesome Magikarp for a bargain, apparently.
Overgrinded them both and owned Misty and Surge due to being 5 levels ahead of them.
I now got my Eevee and immediately evolved him to Vaporeon, which is now owning everything with Bite. Thank Arceus that Dark is Special in Gen 3.

I'll try to update a bit more thoroughly now, but between University and playing, I'm finding it hard to go online and "waste" time updating :D
