Sorry for ANOTHER long gap between updates, but I've got a lot of stuff on my hands.

CHAPTER 10: KANTO AGAIN?

Spoiler:

Beat Jasmine with Pidgeotto's Sand Attack and Stantler's Hypnosis.
Went to Mahogany and beat Red Gyarados.
Beat the Rockets and the Electrodes.
My team is about level 30.
Beat Pryce. So easy...
Returned to Goldenrod and disbanded Team Rocket.
Received Rainbow Wing.
Got through Ice path.
Pidgeotto evolves.
My team is about level 37.
Beat Claire.
Got through Dragon's Den.
Flew back to New Bark Town and got the Master Ball.
Surfed east to Kanto. OMG, again?

Now I'm stuck at Tohjo falls with a bunch of level 40-43s, and I can't find Waterfall HM. Fail. Wonk. Etc.

Headed up Sliph Co Tower and defeated all rockets that stood in my way.
Defeated my Rival and Then obtained a Lapras Future Hm Slave
Defeated Giovanni
Then went to Saffron City gym and defeated Sabrina
Then Headed to Fuschia City to battle Koga.
Considering he was the fifth Gym leader and i already beat the 6th. He Was quite easy.
Then i headed to the Safari Zone and obtained the gold teeth and The hm for Surf
Traded the Gold teeth for Strength and headed to Cinibar Island.
Went through the abandoned mansion and got the key.
Defeated Blaine (he almost killed my Beedrill)
Then Headed to the Islands
I did all i had to do on the islands and rescued Lostelle
Headed back and went straight to Viridian City.
Saved it half way though the Gym.

I am really having fun with this and I am really enjoying the challenge, but Surge was a huge let down because I one shotted all of his pokemon.

• Helped out the local police and beat up team rocket.
• Got TM 28 and taught it to Shelly.
• Traveled underground and was blinded by the sunlight.
• Arived in Vermillion and talk to a guy who gave me a fishing rod.
• Got my party on at the SS Ann and kick my rival off the ship
• Helped the captian with his sea sickness and got cut for it.
• Murderfish Surge and his puzzle on the first try witch was awesome.
• Am now heading for Rock Tunnel for some epic Murderfishing.

It looks like you're about to accidentally do a big no-no. Unfortunately, you aren't allowed to put your "core" team on the Hoenn Game. You have to only use the Pokemon that you can catch in the game. The only exception is if you can't get one before the first or second gym, where you can hack one in.

No,core team is just two pokemon that I will catch no matter what gen it is not trade or anything xD

Yeah at about the 5th or 6th badge i was really thinking about catching a Grimer or Koffing but i decided against it. In the end i was Glad i did it with two pokemon though, it was a good start to the Challenge, I most likely will have a full team in HG. But towards the end of the the league i kept using toxic and Leech seed and healing Venusaur cause it got hard.

I agaree I found parasect very useful throughout the game, and venomoth's special was useful too. Lance only gave me trouble if I didn't use parasect. Interestingly I could very easily take down all of his pokemon with just parasect alone.

OK Started my Poison Challenge On HG

I started the Game Called Myself Scott again (That's my name).
Got all my Items from my mum and Headed to Prof Elm.
Picked a Totodile (so now my Rival has a grass type not a Fire type making it a bit easier for me)
Headed to Mr Pokemon's house and got the Mystery Egg.
Battled my Rival in Cherry grove City and won.
Named my Rival Kesha (she was on the radio)
Then Started my journey Just outside of Cherry Grove City i caught a Spinarak and put totodile in A box.
Only problem Spinarak was on level 2 not a good fighter with poison sting as its only attack and majority of enemy's are Flying. But i persevered and Spinarak one a fight (YAY).
Then i headed to Dark Cave (what a good name) and caught a Zubat.

Ultimate Fire Challenge - Emerald - FINAL UPDATE!

Spoiler:

SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!!!
-Battled the grunts in the rocket place.
-Teamed up with whats-his-face and beat up the Max and his goony.
-Explored the water world of Hoenn. (which might I add, is incredibly large u_u)
-Explored the underwater world a bit, too.
-Went to the place where the submarine was abandoned.
-Battled the grunts in there, too.
-And the leader.
-Headed to Sootopolis.
-Did that plot thing, went to the tower, returned to Sootopolis.
-Finished that plot. (finally)
-Took on Juan. It was a bit of a challenge, fighting all those water Pokemon... but with a few revives and a lot of potions, I managed a win.
-Continued surfing a bit, arrived in Pacifidilog. (sp?)
-Surfed the currents for a bit, training.
(as I trained, I focused mainly on Blaziken and Camerupt, since Ninetales kind of... failed me... in the league the past two times.)
-Surfed toward the Pokemon league, arrived at Victory Road.
-Trained my way through Victory road.
-Arrived at the Pokemon League.
-Stocked up on Potions, Revives and Full Heals.
-Pulled all my X's out of the PC. (X Attack, X Defend, etc.)
-Entered the Elite Four.
-Sidney was a very easy win. Using only Blaziken, I literally one hit all of his Pokemon. It was almost embarrassing.
-Pheobe wasn't much of a challenge, either. None of her Pokemon gave me any problem. I only had to revive once. I used Blaziken through all of this one, too.
-Most of Glacia's Pokemon were easy to one hit. The only one that gave me a problem was Walrein. His Surf was a bit of a pain. But using an X Attack, I managed to pull a win.
-Drake... Drake, I expected to be harder than he was. But I actually took all of his Pokemon down in less than four hits. Granted, I used a TON of X Attacks and Defenses and some Dire Hits. Which, I suppose helped a lot. He was still much easier than I anticipated, though.
-Then there was the champion. He was my only problem. Using my X items, I managed to get past all of his Pokemon but... Gyarados. Gyarados was my only problem. I literally went through thirty revives waiting for him to run out of PP for Surf and Earthquake. When he finally did, I kept Camerupt healed as much as I could and used Rock Slide until he fainted. That Gyarados was a pain in my rear. But I had planned for reviving that often knowing that the champion would be a Water Type Trainer. It's like that goat on Hoodwinked said... I WAS PREPARED!!
-I AM NOW THE CHAMPION OF HOENN, TOO!!

So, it's 6 o'clock in the morning and here I am, just finishing my run on Emerald. I promised myself I'd finish Hoenn tonight and by gosh, I managed to. I don't hate Hoenn... it's just not my favorite, so the run through was kind of... tedious. So, I'm glad it's over AND I feel accomplished getting through it. Ninetales didn't get his chance to shine in the Pokemon League and I kind of regret that, but I used the two I knew would benefit me the most. Camerupt isn't a bad Pokemon, either. He has a pretty decent move pool and is, overall, one of the better fire types available from the Hoenn region. Neither he nor Blaziken were power houses compared to Typhlosion and Charizard, but in the end, they didn't disappoint. I kept them really high level through grinding and that paid off in the league. I'm glad to be the champion.

I think generally any Monotype that has Pokemon that can learn a ton of different attacks (Starmie, Lapras, Nidoking, Alakazam, etc) is fun because they usually have a huge Atk or Sp. Atk, and you sort of laugh at everyone you fight and say "Uh oh, a Pidgeotto! STARMIE USE THUNDERBOLT!!!" for the whole game.

• Finished Iron Island, then beat Byron.
• Beat Saturn and Mars at the lakes, then trudged up to Snowpoint City.
• Beat Candice pretty easily, then flew to Veilstone after visiting the lake.
• Beat the TG Warehouse and HQ along with Cyrus, and freed the lake trio.
• Climbed up to Spear Pillar and then went into the Distortion World.
• Beat Cyrus and Giratina.
• Went to Sunyshore, and Volkner went down.
• Surfed up to Victory Road and navigated it, then beat Ren.
