Chapter 22 - So Hoenn Begins!

Now...without further delay, it's time to begin the Hoenn region. Now...without any cheap prologue due to lazyness. Heh. I'm a bad person due to being lazy. Now...it's time to begin. Birch says his thing, and I get to naming my character Kobora of course. Now...after boring intro stuff, and about 5 minutes of searching, I found a Zigzagoon. The bad news is that it's only Level 2. Man...it's not gonna be easy. I might hack in a higher leveled one so I don't need to grind so much. But...after a little bit of battling, Ziggy got up to a high enough level to battle on his own. Oh wow...Ziggy has the Mild nature. +Special Attack, -Defense. That's no good for a Normal type with a weakness to Fighting. Well...stuff.

Arachne should have been excited about her starter Pokémon. Bianca and Cheren certainly were. However, none of them were Bug-type, the type she really wanted to train. She would have to wait until Pinwheel Forest for her first Bug-types, so she decided take advantage of the Pokémon given to her. She chose the fire pig, and set out on her quest. To become the greatest Bug Catcher there was, and face the champion, Alder in battle.​

I am doing a A mono run of Electric type, and Nuzlocke rules. They have sort of changed over time as the videos progress. So far 5 eps. I did Pokegen a Joltik. This is a ROM for best Quality. If you watch it you will see.

Joltik has random IV's, no EV's added. Silly choice choosing Snivy first, then having a Electric/Bug type. First gym made me nervous, but you will see if you watch. Cheers.

Hey guys just beat the fourth gym Erika was a piece of cake. I just Murderfished her.

• Some how find my way through Rock Tunnel with out flash in about five minutes.
• Emerged from Rock Tunnel in Lavender town and decided to head west.
• While heading west Shelly evolved.
• Found another underground passage which brought us to Celadon City
• Used the back entrance and swiped a Eevee who I named Bubbles and evolved in to Vaporeon.
• Taught Bubbles Ice Beam and tour through the gym like tissue paper.
• Murderfish completely distroyed Erika due to it resisting grass type attacks.
• Saved right after beating her and now to exterminate a problem.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Psychic).

Final Update (#5) on Platinum.

• Maxed out EVs, then used Rare Candies to get Kazza and Charade to L62, and Paladin and Liberty to L63. Taught Psychic and Trick Room to Liberty.
• Time to take on the Elite Four!
• Aaron was swept by Charade - Thunderbolt OHKOed Yanmega and Vespiqueen and 2HKOed Scizor and Drapion, while Psychic OHKOed Heracross.
• Bertha was swept by Kazza - Whiscash, Hippowden, Rhyperior and Golem were all OHKOed by Grass Knot, and Psychic OHKOed Gliscor.
• Liberty swept Flint - Set up Trick Room on Houndoom, then Earthquake OHKOed Houndoom, Flareon, Rapidash, and Magmortar. Psychic OHKOed Infernape after a Full Restore (Earthquake wasn't a OHKO).
• Lucian was a team effort - Charade beat Mr. Mime and Espeon with 2HKOs,Thunderbolt then Liberty OHKOed Alakazam and 3HKOed Bronzong with Payback. Paladin then finished off Gallade with Zen Headbutt.
• Then I beat Cynthia to become Champion! The play-by-play is under the screenshot.

Fire Ultimate Monotype Challenge - Update #1

Ok, so I started a Fire Type UMC cause dragon is... tedious at the moment. I think i'll flick it to my Computer and abuse the speed function for a while. But I started a Fir UMC on Blue (yeah, kicking it Old Skool). I'll go Blue, Crystal, Ruby, Platinum then Black. Well, called myself Dowie, and my rival Doofus, then got a Charmander from Oak, who will be my best friend till... Celadon, I think, where I'll get Eevee. Anyway, called Charmander Firestorm, then kicked Doofus, scratched my way to Viridian, then back to Pallet to get the Pokedex, then through Viridian forest to Pewter City, where I spent a while training Firestorm to level 14. Then, feeling lucky, I challenged Brock. After a long fight, I managed to beat him first go, Coming out with the boulderbadge. I then healed and moved on toward Mt. Moon. I scratched and burnt my way through the trainers to the Super Nerd, whom I beat, then got the Dome Fossil, which I promptly forgot about, then moved on to Cerulean City. I healed and went up to face Doofus. I thrashed Pidgeotto, then on Abra, I encountered a weird glitch. Wehn my rage missed, the game got stuck in an infinite loop, with my Rage missing, then his teleport failing. I knew it was a loop, because I'd long since run out of Rage PP. Crap. Being forgetful, I hadn't saved. Double Crap. So, I jumped on my computer, abused the space bar and got back to my rival in about 10 minutes. Yeah 1000%. So, deciding i'd best do some homework, I saved and turned off.

I'll upload some scrrenshots later, when my internet is de-throttled.

Have not Done much had a some work some Uni work Got a new tattoo and i was stressing cause all the bills came at once and i was worried i did not have enough money to pay for them, But i just made it thank god.

So i left the Dark Cave with my Zubat and headed to Violet City. Trained at bit and then headed up sprout tower defeated everyone and obtained Flash. But yet i was still not strong enough to Fight Falkner so i saved it and went to bed cause my tattoo started to hurt and i was tired.

Ultimate Fire Challenge Update: Platinum

This is only late because I experienced some technical difficulties. After putting two hours into playing, my DS spazzed on me. (Wouldn't come out of sleep mode, hasn't done it since... so I'm not freaking out... yet... Will if it happens again, though.) So, I lost like... 2 hours of work and got mad and stopped playing. T_T But I redid everything begrudgingly.

-Sat through the long introduction from the professor. Which, might I add, is even more boring the fourth time.
-Started my journey. Did all the beginning stuff.
-Chose my starter. None other than Chimchar. Who is really cute until he evolves.
-Battled Rival (who I named Nolan) for the first time. Pwned him.
-Went to Sandgem, did more beginning stuff.
-Told mom about the journey. Continued on said journey.
-Arrived in Jubilife.
-Did everything there. Collected Poke'etch.
-Battled Rival again. Won.
-Arrived in Oreburgh.
-Caught a Ponyta.
-Did some training and found the gym leader in the mine.
-Challenged the Roark. Won.
-Headed back to Jubilife.
-Arrived in Floaroma. Did everything there and all the windworks place.
-Went through Eterna Forest.
-Arrived in Eterna City.
-Challenged Gardenia (why am I only just noticing she's a girl?) and won. Very easy win.
-Did the Galactic thing. Won.
-Currently training along the path to Hearthome.

Chapter 23 - Sealing the deal!

Well...after finishing Petalburg Woods, and the other Route, I'm in Rustboro City. Right now, I'm planning out my team before I go to the gym. I went and caught a Taillow, and I'm hunting down a Whismur, hopefully male. So far, my team is all female. I need a male to balance things out. Well...I found one, and headed for Rustboro Gym. I can admit it...this gym was tough with a team of Normal types, so I had to resort to using my slave Mudkip. Oh well...I got the Stone Badge, so that's done. After owning Team Aqua, getting stuff, and owning May, I headed and saved in Dewford Town.

OK after a while i got bored and Decided to catch a Gastly up in Sprout Tower.
So after what seemed like an eternity i found a Gastly and Caught it.
I trained my team and bit more and got them ready for Falkner.
After a long long Battle he kept using Roost i finally won.
After that I obtained my poke egg then immediately deposited it and continued on.
I headed down route 32 and battled all who stood in my until i arrived at Union Cave.
I ventured through Union Cave and arrived at Azalea Town.
I healed up and talked to Kurt.
Together we headed to slowpoke well and stopped all the rockets.
And saved Azalea Town.
Then decided that It was time to take down Bugsy.
Defeated everyone in his/her's gym and defeated him/her also.
Then my rival decided he was going to challenge me. After i forgot to heal my pokemon.
So i had a little trouble but i managed to pull through.
Then i headed through Ilex Forest and arrived at Route 34.
Battled all the trainers and Saved the game cause i had to go to work.

The rules say you can hack in a single low leveled pokemon if there is no pokemon of the type early in the game, and you can get Shinks before first gym, so there is actually no reason to do it. Its actually a bit like asking if you can hack in Buffalant (7 badges) in Unova, when you can get Lillipup :I
