Ultimate Monotype Challenge Thread

OK, now for another update on my Ultimate Normal Challenge for Diamond:
- Went back to Jubilife, took care of Team Galactic.
- Went north to Floaroma Town, fighting trainers, did what I needed to get the Works Key, put some Honey on the tree while I do that.
- Took care of Team Galactic at the Valley Windworks.
- I left my computer to sit with the game running while I did some stuff for a while.
- When I came back later, I checked my Honey tree. Oh, look, an Aipom! *catch*
- Trained my Aipom to match my team, then went north through Eterna Forest, went to Eterna City, fighting trainers.
- Battled the gym trainers, then Staravia soloed Gardenia with Wing Attack.
- Went to Hearthome City, fighting trainers, took care of the Contest Hall thing, beat Barry, then saved for the night.

• Entered Saffron City, where I entered Silph Co
• Beat my Rival

• Defeated Giovanni

• Defeated Sabrina

• Surfed to Cinnabar Island, where I got the Secret Key
• Defeated Blaine

• Defeated Giovanni

• Defeated Blue

• Got past Victory Road, and entered the league

- Realized I didn't get Brick Break, went back to Oreburgh to get it, taught it to Aipom.
- Went back to Hearthome, then went to Veilstone, fighting trainers on the way.
- Went south to get Dig for Aipom, then caught a Girafarig (yes, I'm using Girafarig again), who demoted Bibarel to Strength and Rock Smash slave.
- Trained Girafarig and the rest of my team to Lv30.
- Went to the gym, took care of the gym trainers, then fought Maylene.
- Staravia took care of Meditite and Machoke with Aerial Ace, Aipom took care of Lucario with a Screech/Dig combo.

Bug UMC

got to virmillion city,these are my pokemon

After beating the Lightning American,l i head to rock Tunnel.
Rock Tunnel = Rock Types Rock Types + My water types = auto win

50 boring trainer battles later i arrive in Celadon City and find an abandoned eevee and named him bubbles (yes unoringinal i kinow, sue me) and one water stone later my new team amte has arrived. After some training i felt confident to tackle team Rocket. Bubbles lead me to Giovanni but fell in battle and Levi finished the job.

In Lavendar town bet a few pyschos in the tower and rescued the old guy that dosent need rescuing( why did I have to go up there if he didin't need rescuing)
Might skip Erika and come back with a tentacool for some training.

Whoa, I haven't updated in a while. Anyways, I beat Winona for the Feather Badge, making it my 6th Badge so far. I flew to Dewford Town, and got Sludge Bomb. I taught it to my Vileplume, which was evolved from an Oddish I found near Slateport City. I taught Aerial Ace to my Sceptile. I flew to Lilycove, beat the crap out of Brendan by using Aerial Ace on his Combusken. (Grass Type beats out a Fire-type?)

I made him cry.

Alright, time for another UMC Normal update:
- Got Fly, taught it to Staravia, then went south to Pastoria City, fighting trainers on the way. Aipom evolved on the way.
- Got Defog, taught that to Piplup. Beat the Pastoria Gym.
- Beat Barry, then chased down and beat the Galactic Grunt.
- Fought the trainers on Route 212. Staravia evolved.
- Took care of the sick Psyduck, then took the charm to Celestic Town, got Surf, taught it to Bibarel.
- Flew to Hearthome City, purposely chose the wrong doors in the gym to get experience from the trainers.
- Girafarig soloed Fantina. Afterwards, I taught Shadow Claw to Ambipom.

So, guess what? After breeding a Sneasel with a Ditto in another game, I was able to get two eggs! Then, I traded the eggs with recently caught wild Pokémon (Starly and Bidoof) and got two Sneasels. I thought one of them was a Larvitar, by the way! Sooo...

- Fought all the trainers on the newly accessible areas thanks to Surf.
- Surfed to Canalave City, fighting trainers.
- Beat Barry, then went to Iron Island, took care of the trainers there.
- Went back to Canalave City, boxed the Riolu egg, then went to the gym.
- Staraptor and Ambipom easily took care of Byron.
- Went to the library, talked to Rowan, then went and took care of Lake Valor and Verity.
- Went north to Snowpoint City, fighting trainers.
- Went to the gym, spent quite a bit of time figuring out the puzzle (though I've done it before), meanwhile fighting the gym trainers.
- Fought and beat Candice.
