Well, the OP will hopefully get updated sometime or other in the near future, it has been neglected, I will give you that.
I don't really think you can do that with FR/LG, you're supposed to catch the pokemon in game, and no trading/hacking is allowed for fire type, so yeah. If you really want Magmar, use LeafGreen. You'll also get a chance to use Magmar/Growlithe/Vulpix in later games as well.
As for updates, just post them when you can. I also like to post screenshots of gyms and E4 and stuff, but it's purely optional. What you've done so far is perfectly fine.
By the way, Myrrhman, whenever the OP gets updated, we should prolly clarify the hacking rules, a lot of people get confused (me included!) when the first available pokemon is after a couple gyms in certain games but is not Dragon or Ice or something.
And that reminds me, I wanted to ask if hacking in Dratini for my Dragon type run on White (in the beginning) was ok, since I want to run with more than three pokemon for the first part of the game.
i didnt mean trading i meant litterally the roms have identically save files,you can litterally rename the save file and leaf green can load it(only works for the jap rleases thoughimporting the battery(on any emu) works on usa release) but yeh i guess ill run with growlithe and flareon this run then

-made my way up mt silver and caught a magmar for a heal shield(then found out i needed my slowpoke for flash >.<)
well you as long as didnt use even one non poison type in battle throughout the game there was no timelimit in the rules on the first page(but tbh if you do emulated red you can do it in one day like i did-infact i did gsc in one day also xD--if you can run pokemon BW at 95% speed without fameskip on desmume,then you can run rby/gsc at around 1500% turbo speed)

Dead is me!!!!!
The E4 has been a pain for me. First, I have almost no money so I can't buy ANYTHING, and second, even with my fighting types, i always end up losing about everyone to Lorelei. And when i get lucky to lorelei, the same happens with bruno. i hav to be REALLY lucky to get to agatha. the ONE time i got to agatha i lost to her cuz my poliwrath was out of surf. plz, give me suggestions on not only how to get more money, but also how to train Vegeta and Po, becuz i think they could be (more) useful at a higher level. Also i wanna know if i should make my levels for Chris and Sensei higher, and if i should swap out some moves. Please help me, this is a crisis situation! Oh, and this is my team:

Hmm... here's what I would try. I'm in the middle of a Solo Run with a Weedle and just recently got through the LeafGreen E4. Go into your inventory and sell all the TMs you're not using. A good chunk of them get you $1500. Also sell any vitamins you're not using, that'll get you $4900 each. With the money you get, go and buy Hyper Potions, X Attack, X Defense, and Guard Spec. The X items make this way easier. Personally, I didn't need them until Lance, but my Weedle was level 90. If you still don't have enough money, use the Vs. Seeker to go rematch trainers. Not only will this get you money, but it'll level up your pokemon. They do look underleveled for the E4.

So I have no clue where I last left off so I will just go on from here.
I just stumbled apon the team aqua people and they are trying to fight me,
how cute. Wait so who were those weird people who hate team aqua. I dont
like them they are stealing my job. Anyways through the skipped text I heard
something about a meteorite. Time to investigate!
So I go to Mt. Chimney and guess what two teams are here. If you said the
crappy ones congratulations you win. I have the longest fight ever with
Aqua's boss and eventually win. So I continue onward.
Now in Lavaridge Town I fight a gym of the fire type. This should be easy
enough. I beat Flannery and am now heading somewhere. Before I leave though
I get ambushed by May and am told to head to Petalburg gym.
So I head to Petalburg and the battle begins against my dad's gym. So Dad
was easy to beat. the Salckings gave me a nice free turn.
I catch a zigzagoon for surf and then continue with my game.
On my way to the next destination Empathy evolved into Gardevoir.
While going through the routes I stumble upon Team Aqua and take them down.
Right after that rival battle. Yay...
Now I am in Fortree going for this badge. Firest though I meet Steven for the
Devon scope. The gym was an easy win. 6 badges down 2 and the elite 4 left.
Ok so heres my Emerald section of my monotype fire(all 8 badges on video)

Never mind, i got it working.
Well, here it is. Ive gotten so far, but i havent updated in so long. My Normal UMC update for sinnoh finally! Not putting this off anymore..

Well, i beat the first 2 gyms MONTHS ago, so i dont recall how i beat them. But i do remember the third gym vaguely. I had Beaver, my bireal, and Falcon, my staravia. Falcon had thief, so that helped along with his strong flying attacks. I beat that gym surprisingly easily.
I continued onward, getting defog from the ruins, and stealing a lucky egg from a chansey(taking forever..) After that, i went up to the rainy route and caught Lickster, the Lickitung. My team is near completion at this point. I grind them for a bit, then i reach veilstone, and pick up my final member, Virus porygon! I found upgrade earlier, so i traded him with myself inn my heartgold and i get a porygon-2. I grind a little bit more and challenge the gym. During this grinding, by the way, Falcon evolved into Staraptor. Virus was at a lower level still, and he had psybeam, so i took a chance and used him to defeat the whole gym. I learned how amazing porygons are...
I helped dawn get her pokedex back cause she's weak, and i continued with my journey. I reached Pastoria and didnt attempt to grind, since there was only a short walk over to the town. The gym battle, i cannot remember, but i beat him, of course.
I fight the grunt and get the secret potion from Cynthia. I cure the silly psyducks from their intense migraine, and i make my way through the foggy route. I quickly reach the next town and defeat the galactics that are present. I receive surf and teach it to beaver, then i fly over to jubilife so i can make my way to the next gym. I grind a little to level 45 at first, then i go to iron island and train with riley to level 50. After we take out the grunts, i challenge the gym. I used Lickster and Falcon, since i flew to.. the cave with earthquake.. and i taught it to Lickster, since he needed it. I defeat the gym very easily and receive my prize.
I go to the library with my rival and find my way to lake valor, where a bomb has gone off. I take out the galactics and fly to my home town. I find lake verity covered with grunts, and i help dawn and rowan(yet again). After that, i fly back to the town closest to snowpoint, and i travel through the dense snow. I see my dumb rival and i enter town. And I'm currently grinding to level 55 before i challenged the leader.
