Ultimate Solo Challenge

Due to the abundance of people that like to sign up for challenges and then disappear, I will now add you after you post your first progress.

Rather surprised that someone hasn't made this thread yet. There were Monotype Challenges and then the Ultimate Monotype Challenge, and there are Solo Challenges and now the Ultimate Solo Challenge. Pick any Pokemon (has to be from one of the first 3 gens, sorry Sinnoh). Now you play through every region using only that Pokemon. Get it at the first opportunity to do so, whether it be via trade, egg, or hacking it in with a Gameshark or Emulator. Just please, if you do the last one, don't be tempted to use any other cheats!!!

For example, because I'm sure someone won't understand. If you pick Sableye as your solo runner, start with FireRed/LeafGreen. Beat one of those with Sableye. Then move to HG/SS. Beat that with Sableye. Then beat RSE with Sableye, and finally beat DPPt with Sableye. Doesn't matter which generation you do, as long as it is in the set.

Rules:
1. Beat all four regions using a single Pokemon. The same Pokemon each time.
2. Only use your solo runner for battling. If you have to be in a double battle, you may use other Pokemon, but they aren't allowed to be trained otherwise, so they'll probably suck and won't do any kind of damage.
3. You are allowed up to three HM slaves. This means you should have 2 empty slots in your party. You may use your HM slaves for reviving purposes, yada yada yada, just don't train them at all.
4. Your challenge ends when you: Beat the elite four in FR/LG, Beat Red in HG/SS, beat the elite four in RSE, and beat the elite four in DPPt.
5. As soon as you post saying "I will do this challenge with __________" you may start. Don't PM me saying "I joined your challenge, plz accept kthx" because that will piss me off and I might "forget" to update saying that you're accepted. When you post, you're accepted.
6. The same applies for any progress that you make. Don't PM me saying "k i beet Red nao update plz." I get on Pokecommunity lots. I will update daily.
7. Please update frequently. Like every other gym or so. If you are the type of person who likes to open up VBA or whatever and just type your post as you go, that is fine, and I don't mind if you make one whole update telling me your whole story. Do NOT, however, say "I beat Fire Red version...I beat Red in Heart Gold." I don't like this. Put some effort into your post and actually tell me how you did. I'm curious.
8. Have fun. This is the most important one of all! Just kidding, the first one is the most important for this challenge

Progress report:I met my Charmander in prof. Oaks lab, we won our first fight together against our rival, and we were off on our journey. He was level 10 before reaching Viridian, and I had a Charmeleon by the time I was at Pewter. A lucky break against Brock's Onix using Tackle & Bind instead of Rock Tomb got us our first badge.Going through Mt Moon was a sinch, and I had picked up some HM Slaves, a Pidgey, Clefable & Geodude. A loss against Misty with my level 23 Charmeleon made me angry, so I beat my rival and all the trainers up to Bill. I vsed Misty again with my now level 30 Charmeleon, and I was off to Vermillion. I beat all the trainers on the S.S Anne, including my rival and I got CUT from the Captain. I caught a Diglett in the cave and gave it Cut.We will now see if my Charmeleoon (With moves Ember-Mega Punch-Dig-Metal Claw) can beat Lt Surge, before i evolve it, as I don't want it to be weak to Electric. *Edit: Beat Lt. Surge. 1HKO Voltorb & Pikachu, but with a paralysis from pikachu leaving me unable to use Dig. One ember + Mega Punch took care of Raichu, and leveled my Charmeleon to level 34, meaning I got flamethrower =D

Because I'm being a douche about my Brown Nuzlocke and put it on hiatus, I will try this in the meantime to kill time. But, with some slightly edited rules:

1. Team = Solo Runner + 3 Slaves (less if possible)
2. Solo runner faints -> I lose
3. No switching (for healing purposes or whatever)
4. Double Battle? Kill Slaves before doing anything else.
5. No Pickup
6. No recatching for Nature/ability
7. No SRing if things don't go as planned


My Solo Runner shall be Stantler. Yes, that one thing nobody ever cares about.
Version order is Fire Red->Gold->Ruby->Diamond
So, pretty much always the first one.

First rival battle was easy, this one was harder. Because of a crit and some Sand-Attack hax, I had to use a Potion.

Again, this took me one Potion. It turned out that my greatest problem here was actually Bind, not Rock Tomb.

By the way, I still have 0 Pokemon caught.

Rudolph I is level 14 (as seen above) and has Tackle, Leer and Astonish. Ability is Intimidate.

Somewhere inside Mt.Moon, things suddenly became very awesome.

Fought Misty first and it worked, but I was probably being overconfident here. While Stomp DID 2HKO Starmie, it still could have ended my challenge with a crit. I got that crit though, but it was unneeded.

This time, there's even a proper team-viewing part.
Next: Rival, rival and rival Surge. Also, I will have to catch some kind of Pokemon because otherwise I can't get past any Cut trees.
