also someone should totes go into the basement if they haven't already to save what's-their-names i guess

Something I need clarification on - are the Wendigo like normal mafia in that they already know who each other are and they share a chat and all? If that's the case, revealing only helps us since they already know who they need to kill to win - we'll just be getting as much information as them. But since everyone has been reluctant to reveal so far I've been assuming the Wendigo are all independent (the OP does say they can work together but don't have to)? We do just have to survive to win, so we don't really have to actively seek them out.

For now though, since there hasn't been a reveal so far and tbh I just want to see what happens

23:58 | Six Hours Until Dawn

It was a busy hour for a fair few who branched off in search of their missing friends.

After being separated from Jess on the trail, Mike continued on towards the cabin that they'd been going to. Maybe something had happened and she'd run there? Regardless, he didn't know where else to look. He could run back to the lodge, sure, but why would Jess or anyone who took her go back there?

On the way to the cabin, he came across a dear that was near death. It had been attacked by something. He knelt down next to it, petting it softly. He consoled it in its final moments. Perhaps nature would thank him for that.

But if it did, the thanks would come later. He was caught off guard as the bear that had mauled the deer appeared from the woods nearby.

Mike got to his feet and ran. He passed some precarious areas on the trail, at first electing to take the safe route rather than the quick one, but when the bear nearly killed him because of it, he rushed ahead, barely escaping the animal.

Eventually he was out of its sight, and he'd made it to the cabin. He ran inside, slammed the door behind him, and caught his breath. Then he noticed the gun.

Back at the lodge, Sam had started her own adventure into the basement. As resourceful as she was, it didn't take her long to find an old, abandoned hallway. She began following it, noticing a few interesting things here and there as she went. She picked up a head from a decapitated baby doll, but immediately dropped it when cockroaches emerged from one of its eyes. Despite the gross scare, her curiosity didn't wane. A few moments later, she found an interesting little piece of wood.

The flash she saw in that instant was unsettling.

Still, she soldiered on until she came across a large room, filled with some rather disturbing things, including a wall of pictures. There were eight pictures . . . each one of her and her seven friends. The eyes of Emily and Jess were scratched out.

She proceeded on with her mission, unrelenting. Eventually she came across a small area in another hallway, where she found Josh's cellphone. What was it doing down here? She inspected its contents, and it soon became clear that he hadn't been to counseling in a while. He'd began to break down after his sisters died, and Sam had thought he'd been getting help for it. The unopened bottle of Thorazine proved that he'd been neglecting said help. She picked up the pills, as well as a syringe that was lying near them, filled with an unfamiliar liquid. She was unsettled, to say the least, and so she carried the syringe at the ready, to be used as a weapon if need be.

It wasn't long before she came across Emily and Jess. The two were unconscious and stuck in a trap. They were high up and far apart, each with a noose around their neck. It was set up in such a way that, if one were to be rescued, the other would be hanged. Sam wouldn't be able to save them on her own, so she made a quick decision to run back and search for help.

Luckily for her, Ashley, Chris and Matt had entered the basement, and were nearing the abandoned hallway themselves. "Are you guys going down there?" Matt asked the other two.

Only time would tell if they'd save their friends.

And it wasn't just The Psycho they had to worry about now. Something had followed Emily down into the basement. It was lurking nearby . . . and now more than ever, it was angry.

[PokeCommunity.com] Until Dawn

Davepetasprite^2 is Makkapitew Hannah!

The Makkapitew has become aggressive!

For this phase, all of the survivors start out wherever they left off, or where new events have brought them.

Players may move between the Lodge, Upper Cable Car, Small Cabin, Upper Mines, Sanatorium, Fire Tower, and the Cliff. The available Lodge subsections are the Basement, the Living Room, the Upper Floor, the Lower Floor, and the Bathroom. These are all considered part of the Lodge, and do not count as moving between areas. Remember that paths between areas can also be explored, should you choose to linger on them. Sometimes you will be forced to interact with things on the path before you can reach your destination.

Special Notes: The Sanatorium and the Fire Tower are both a good distance from the lodge, and so will take up two movements to reach.

Remember: survivors may only visit two distinct locations per phase, but they may linger in one location for as long as they like. Keep an eye on your environment, look close, and take as many actions as you feel you need to. You may interact with your environment and other characters. Unless you are presented with a specific choice, you may interact with these things however you please.

Rules
  • All PokéCommunity rules apply.
  • Each player may enter two areas per phase. The area they choose should be Private Messaged to the Game Master and should not be mentioned in the thread.
  • Each player must perform at least one action per phase. Going two phases without performing an action will result in that player's removal.
  • Missing two consecutive Reveal votes will also result in a player's removal.
  • Due to the nature of the game, all phases will last at least 72 hours.
  • All actions should be sent to the Game Master via Private Message.
  • No Private Messaging other players about the game.
  • Any discussion of the game should be kept in this thread.
  • Do not post here once you have been killed. You get one death post, which may not contain any information pertaining to the game.

=-= you do know im not dead yet, gives me more reason to kill you when in fact i don't actually have to.

here's the deal, i'll "try" not to kill anyone, as long as you guys stay the hell away from me. The reason I said "try" is that i dont know if i have a choice whether or not i can kill you or not, thanks to you fuckers, you've apparently made me mad, and who knows whats gonna happen.

Even though I want to end the game peacefully, that doesn't mean I won't try to kill anyone. There are only two people I want dead. The Stranger, and one of my "friends". I'm saying this now, I will never, ever kill Josh, Sam, or Mike. If these three decide to claim to me or whatever by liking and unliking my post, I will protect you from the other wendigos who will try to fuckin hurt you. I swear to God, on my cannibalistic grave.

So yeah, don't fuck with me, help me kill the Stranger, Josh, Sam, and Mike please claim to me, and this game will go smooth as fuck... I hope.

Btw, just so you know, my win condition is just like the rest of you. Survive Until Dawn. So yeah I'd actually like to win with you guys so please just help me.

Fine be it, I'm already offering my services to kill the Wendigos for you in exchange for my "freedom" but yeah, obviously you are too prideful to see that.

Have fun with that problem, Blame Bard for that one guys.

so, hello, i have been blissfully ignoring this game ever since i got added into it... for which i apologize to the GMs. but also a big thank you because i played the game because of you and it was awesome if terrifying.

ahem. so anyway. i replaced Draskk a while back. and i see Hannah has been revealed. just to say, i don't understand many of Gunner's claims? why would you want to kill the Stranger if your win condition is simply to survive? and since you're offering to kill them, are you not affiliated with the rest of the Wendigo at all?

Well, I have watched a playthrough of Until Dawn, so here's what I think. I want to kill the Stranger first, because in the game, the Stranger is there to kill the Makkapitew, who is apparently the strongest wendigo here. It's soul entered Hannah when she was trapped at the bottom of the mines. I'm assuming the Stranger's win condition would involve me dying, so yeah, for me to win, I'd probably would want to kill the Stranger, before he kills me.

Also, I don't know, my win condition states I just needed to survive Until Dawn. I can even choose not to kill anyone at all (but srsly who would want to see that), so no I don't think I'm affiliated with the rest of the Wendigos. I don't know their identities, or if they are working as a team so lol

I don't have a reason to lie js. If I was lying, I could have killed somebody by now.

i don't think the stranger in the game wanted to kill the Makkapitew at all? his entire mantra was to not kill the Wendigos but rather imprison them so that their spirits couldn't possess anyone else. he also wouldn't have lurked around the characters if that was the case i think... rather i'd say he was trying to protect them?

that's not to say i don't agree at all - i could imagine him having a role that requires killing Wendigos. i just think that would involve killing 'normal' Wendigos more than it would involve killing you, if as you say, you really aren't affiliated. but fair enough i suppose o> i mean, getting an offer to have you kill off the other Wendigos sounds tempting to be sure.

While your argument is very enticing Gunner, I feel like your "like/unlike" idea won't work. It would be pretty advantageous for the psycho, the stranger, or the wendigos silently claim to you like that to cover themselves; on top of the fact that you yourself cannot ensure that you wont kill anyone now you've been made aggressive, it kind of makes this "protection" you offer entirely unreliable.

I'm into not killing you if you can be tamed and not kill any of us, I guess.

Also Gunner haven't you learned that you should never listen to Bard ever.
