Why are people always so afraid of the rain? You aren't going to melt.

No, but you're going to get WET.

WET.

Second day my Senior year of high school, it was pouring rain. And for whatever reason, all the other students decided it would be best to stand between the two sets of doors, instead of going to the cafeteria before the first bell rang, AND not let anyone else in. So there I was, outside, no coat, no umbrella, in the pouring rain. Got soaked.

Since then, rain of any kind has not bothered me. People run through the rain? I walk.

They kept you outside? That seems a bit cruel...should have just shoved your way through them, haha.

I live in England. When it's not raining, it's overcast. Rain has never really bothered me...unless it's that irritating drizzle rain that gets you damp and finds its way into places where there ought not to be damp. And frizzes your hair. Getting wet is fine. Getting damp? Not so much.

You obviously weren't using the right water guns then. Super Soakers, especially back in the 90's, were some incredible things.

I used to despise getting squirted with water. Now that I think about it, Sydney has been going through quite the heatwave lately, which is not great for me.

Heat would be the last thing I would worry about if I lived in Australia.

I think I'd be more worried about toxic spiders hiding in unexpected places...
