    if you could be a vampire or human
    which would you be?

    i personally would be a vampire.
    i could live forever unless i got set on fire, burned from the sun, or stabbed with a wooden stake xD

    What vampire are you referring to? There are many types of vampires in the world and even more in fiction. Example: Pontianak from Malaysia. A female ghost-like vampire similar to a banshee but drinks the blood of pregnant mothers. Sometimes lives in the Banana plant.

    Back to the topic, human, because blood tastes metallic.
     
    I going with the "Can go in Sunlight Or Die" type of vampire, so vampire. I don't go outside much in the sunlight anyway.
     
    Human, please. I'd prefer to live life on the easy, not have to scurry for food all the time.
     
    Human. I don't have much a night life, so being a vampire would be pretty boring. I feel like the cons of being a vampire slightly outweigh the perks.
     
    For now, I would obviously choose to be a human. But I might change my decision after someone lists the bad sides/weaknesses and the good sides that being a vampire can bring. So TC, might you do this?
     
    The sun gives me hope, and I don't want to be related to the emo vampires in Twilight.

    It's a pretty obvious choice for me :3
     
    Vampire. No question about it. I'm naturally a night owl anyways, and I like the taste of blood... I also happen to be very gothic and find it cool.
     
    Vampires burning in stellar light is a rather recent occurance, not a trait in the original lore.
    That said though, I do believe them to be mindless for the most part.

    So: human, female given the choice.

    Vampire obviously, I'd totally be Angel in search of my Xander Buffy. o3o

    i guess it would great sleeping up-side down ;)
     
    Human, wouldn't want to live a longer lifetime and still fear death.
    Plus humans can still drink blood.
     
    As cool as being a vampire sounds, I'd rather choose to be part of the human race. I'm not much a night person to begin with, plus I rather not live my entire life hiding from the sun and scavenging about for food.

    As much as being a vampire sounds oh-so-fun, I'd prefer to be human. I love sleep, I love food, I love sun; hell, I love garlic - although, I'm pretty sure the last two points aren't part of original folklore. I'd also hate the thought of falling in love with someone and outliving them by a couple of thousand years. I'd want to age with them as they aged with me.

    So, chyeah. Human is more my style. :>
