    Everyone have different things that happen when you sleep, whether a slight toss and turn in the night is enough to wake you up, or evensomething like someone yelling in your ear with a megaphone nit being enough to wake you up. There are differences within sleeping, so:

    Tell a story, are you a deep sleeper?

    I would say I am a very deep sleeper and I'll tell you why. One time when I was 7-8 years old and my grandparents looked after a caravan park, and I would stay in one of the caravans (with family of course :P). These caravans had bunk beds, and me being young, I just had to sleep on the top bunk. One night, I was sleeping, and somehow happened to roll off the bed onto the floor. My dad and uncle heard a big thud and then saw me on the floor. They proceeded to take me inside the main building. The next morning came and I woke up and wondered what I was doing in the main building. They then told me all about what I had done and what had happened to me. So yes, I am a very deep sleeper.

    I be sleeping like a dog, matey.

    It's troublesome for me to get up, usually I get up by myself though, others can't, which is why I have to sleep earlier than I want to in order to get to school on time.

    I'm a deep sleeper when I know I don't have anything particularly thrilling to wake up for the next day. So sometimes I just lay in bed longer than need be. If I'm anxious, I wake up a lot, usually at a one hour interval. Kind of annoying, haha.

    I would call myself a very lights sleeper, because only a couple of weeks ago, I had a slumber party at my clubs house, and at 2 o'clock his alarm went off. None of my friends had woken except me, and I had gone to sleep last ( I think) so I shut it off. Ten minutes later, it started playing again so I shut it off properly, and couldn't fall asleep til the next night. But my eyes did hurt.

    That happened to me twice at a friends house >.> First time I fell off I was still asleep aapparently, second time I partially woke up, climbed up the ladder still half asleep and went to sleep. Embarrassing.

    I guess I am a heavy sleeper.

    Ohhhh yes. I am a very deep sleeper. I don't know how it works, really, but I can nap in a completely dead state for hours. o__o It both amazes and kinda frustrates my boyfriend, since he wakes up at the slightest teenie noise or movement. XD;

    Also, Alternative, something like that has happened to me before. XD When I was little, I shared a bunk bed with my older brother. I liked to sleep on the top, and all I know is I was sleeping up top at night and...woke up on the floor in the morning. o-O I don't even know how I didn't wake up from that...not to mention why no one came to check on me when they heard the inevitably loud bang...XD;

    Yeah, I'm a deep sleeper. I have a hard time falling asleep, but when I do, almost nothing can wake me up.

    Nope... I will wake up if anyone sets foot in my room. I have something to hide you see... Sometimes I wake up hugging my pillow! OH THE HORROR! I can't imagine what I'd do if someone found out. (lol)

    But still, ever since then I'm like completely aware of my surroundings while I sleep.

    I'll also wake up after exactly 9 hours to pee. Always. (seriously)

    I'm a very light sleeper. I tend to wake up at all different times throughout the night. Most of the time I just randomly wake up for reasons unknown to myself, but other people have stated that I wake up right when they call my name or right when they go to shake me awake. I suppose being a light sleeper has its pros and cons. The pro being no one ever tries to pull pranks on me during sleepovers because I wake up instantly. :D The con being that I don't always get a well rested sleep. I can't tell you how many times I'll be having an awesome dream and just when I'm about to get to the climax of the dream some slight noise wakes me up. D:

    Gawd, this thread is making me tired.

    I struggle sleeping all the time, instead of being normal I'll fall asleep at 4:00am instead of a normal time then wake up at 12:00pm-2pm-ish. I never wake up at a normal time unless I really, really try to and it still doesn't often work. It's such a problem. I'm a deep sleeper apparently, I have alarm clocks (3 maximum, I believe) to attempt to wake me up but I'm always sleeping through them. The only way I ever seem to be able to wake up is when my dad shouts for me on a morning and then I say I am getting up and fall back to sleep which annoys him, a lot...then he gets my mum onto my case. Not good.

    I'm a very light sleeper myself. As soon as anyone opens, goes near or so much as drops a pin outside my door I'm instantly awake. It definitely leads to some strange moments when my dad has walked past to go to work (he has to get up at 5am) and my door's open, because occasionally it wakes me up and I don't really realise what's going on, thinking it's either early night or time to get up XD. Still, it helps when I've forgotten to set my alarm, my mum just has to open the door and I'm awake.

    I'm more of a heavy sleeper than a light sleeper, but I hesitate to say I'm either. If I'm really tired, I'll fall asleep in almost any conditions: light, noise, in the car, whatever. Once I'm asleep, most background noise won't wake me up.

    However, I never ever have problems waking up. If I have to get up, I set an alarm, and the second it goes off I'm awake. Hell, the phone in general wakes me up, no matter what kind of noise it makes. (If the computer turns on, that will, too.) That's if I don't wake up before my alarm -- I hate it so much that as long as I've gotten decent sleep, I typically will. I think I've overslept like once in the past five years.

    In short, I am awesome. 8)

    I'll tell you this: I love my sleep, and I better not be interrupted in any part of it. ;___;

    Yes, I am a deep sleeper. And honestly, I don't care, and I like being a deep sleeper. A lot of the times it's because of the crap I deal with in school and life and stuff that I would want to sleep for very long periods of time without being woken up. For me, I feel pretty amazing when I sleep incredibly long periods of time without much worry about anything, really.

    Sleep is the escape from reality into your own little world. I take comfort in that world, and find myself going into that little world quite frequently.

    I am a light sleeper I woke up 4 times last night.

    Unless I haven't slept in a good amount of time, I'm a light sleeper.

    Light sleeper.

    Also, I haven't slept past 6 AM in 10 years.

    Not fun.

    I'm a very heavy sleeper. Depending on my recent sleeping habits, I'll usually sleep in. Like when I went to school I was getting up at 7.30 in the morning, so on weekends I would only sleep in until about 10.30am. On school holidays I used to not have to wake up for anything so I would sleep in until about two or three in the afternoon. Around now, I have work, so on days off I'll sleep in until about 11.30am.

    When I do have to get up for something, I have to either be repetitively woken up by somebody else, or I have to set my stereo alarm and hide the remote so I have to get out of bed to turn it off and then put my phone's alarm on for three minutes later because I usually get back into bed and sleep without remembering it.
