Hospital to Streets

Sounds of a huge fight began to rush around in the hospital. I didn't know that the battle was this bad to warrant hand to hand combat. Everything began to erupt in chaos, so I left the building, rushing as fast as I could. This war is getting out of hand. Not even hospitals are safe. Is anything sacred anymore? Someone needs to stop this madness before it gets any further. This isn't a war, it's a nightmare. A surreal, unbelievable nightmare where millions die for no good reason.

As I explored the streets, I came across a group of shadows in the distance, in an alley way. I recognized one of them as a Zorua. Could it possibly be the same one I meet in Canalave? Was she friendly? Hostile? I didn't know, and quite frankly, she's the only one I can remotely relate to as a friend in this bad dream. There was that leader, but he's probably dead by now. Important people in war tend to die like that, especially with his stupid idea of parachuting into the building full of hostiles. The Zorua was nice to me and spared me from who knows what fate waited me there.
I got the courage to approach the group. They seemed to be in mourning. Maybe this was a bad idea. But honestly, I needed the non hostile companionship. It keeps me from having a screw loose.
"Hello?" I said in a scared tone. I was breathless.

The outcome of war...

-----

I ran back up the down the corridor with a Paralyze Heal in my hand. If I wasn't too late, and if I did a good enough job with those bandages, maybe I could save Wade. I knew from Ivy that in a case this serious... it was probably just false hope talking.

I turned a corner and spotter the Umbreon... except he had a Zorua curled up next to him. The Zorua didn't look very happy... or even just sad or very sad, she looked a lot worse than that. Which could only mean...

I ran up to the Umbreon and only needed to give him a quick glance. He was dead. I dropped to my knees, which basically meant I was sitting on the floor, and let go of the medicine in my hand. I was too late...

"I'm sorry..." I said so quietly it was barely audible. It was directed at both the lifeless Umbreon and the Zorua, whom obviously had feelings for Wade. After a quick moment, I stood back up and walked over to the hospital room where Jack was located.

"If you didn't want to kill him," I said as I turned to Jack, a cold tone in my voice, "You should not have fought..." With that, I stood there for a moment. I almost wanted to attack him, but not only would it kind of contradict what I had just said, I knew I shouldn't. I knew it would be worthless. So, with that in mind, I walked away, walked over to the window I had crashed through earlier at the end of the corridor, jumped on the windowsill, and leaped out. I landed on my feet with virtually no noise, and began to walk away.

The Snivy dropped down on his -knees?- and muttered out some words. He was carrying a Paralyze Heal, which he dropped in despair. "I'm sorry...". He looked very upset, and obviously understood the situation. Lydia shook her head. "Its not your fault. You tried, I couldn't say as much for myself". The Zorua failed at wiping her tear-soaked cheeks.

Watching, she gazed away from her fallen partner as the grass snake spoke to the man at the window. "If you didn't want to kill him, you shouldn't have fought...", he said aloud, disappearing from sight without another word. Lydia looked upward, her grim face soon turning into one of untold anger. It was Jack.

About to speak up, her ears lifted with surprise as a human voice spoke from behind her.

"Hello"

Turning, she saw the man she had encountered oh too long ago. The man which had fled their original PR Base. If she wasn't in such a depressed mood, Lydia would have immediately clawed his eyes out, but she couldn't bring herself to attack him. He was most likely lost again. Scanning him, she found no translators on the human. She snorted.

"What do you want? ...J-Jeff...", she spoke with telepathy. Her voice was small, a linger of sorrow hidden inside.

"What do you want? ...J-Jeff..." The Zora responded with telepathy. Sorrow was in her voice, and I saw an Umbreon, lifeless and dead, on the ground. Another casualty of this surreal, psychotic disaster. She was mourning his loss, that I'm sure of. I was lucky she didn't maul me right on the spot. Maybe she remained friendly? I shed a tear for her loss.

"I'm sorry for your loss, but I need to say something. I... I have a confession to make." I replied tearfully.
"You are the only non-hostile being I have ever encountered in this entire "war". I.. I'm sorry I ran from you and your friends earlier... I was just scared out of my mind and bolted. I want to make amends. Everyone else I meet is ether dead or missing. My family? Dead. Survivors I joined up with? Dead. That parachutist I meet earlier? Probably dead. Who's stupid idea was it to go into a base alone? Your the only one who hasn't tried to maul or kill me in some fashion. Your the only one one I can even remotely call a friend, even if you hate humans. This surreal nightmare is pointless. Why can't we just get along? I'm sorry for running away from that place in Canalave." I burst into tears, both from her loss and my own. "Im sorry about your loss, I really am."

Too much was happening at once. The PR stormed the base was the first thing mark acted on. Mark activated his active camo, snuck up behind the army, and slipped on in. (hehe) Mark slid by the pokemon without making a noise. Heading to the top floor office before anyone smart enough got there, he opened the filing cabinets and took all folders that looked important, shredding the rest. The computer was his next destination, mark emailed everything to the commanders PC in sunyshore, then he smashed the terminal to bits. The last thing mark grabbed was a tactical map on a desk, stuffing it in his backpack. Mark chilled in the office chair for a minute with his camo off, so it wouldn't overheat or time out again. After the camo was all good, mark headed back down stairs with Active Camo back on. Mark got a few floors down and saw Silence about to slash some KO'd girl. Mark pulled out his gun and aimed, but didn't fire, as Silence spared the girl. "Why? Now i got dirt on you." Mark whispered to himself kinda lound, for a whisper, but hopefully not loud enough for anyone to notice. He left the building. Next on his list is the building that fell over. Mark climbed up on the rooftops with his camo turned off. Using Parkour! He made his way across the building to the collapsed building, there was a sketchy pile of bricks and other junk, with an arm sticking out. Mark ducked down moving all the debris to find an unconscious althalos. "Why me!" Mark asked himself as he slung his friends limp body over his shoulder. Now it was time for 'commando mode'. Mark Parkour'd off the building and made a botched landing (Two legs and a hand) And pulled out his smg with his free hand. Mark ran as fast as he could to the hospital, which wasn't fast since he was supporting someone elses wait as well, gunning down any pokemon on the way there. Mark entered the hospital, heading for the commanders room. He got outside the room, wade was dead, and that guy mark had seen in the streets was there, along with lydia. "Ohhhhhh, sh*t."

Logan looked around at the devastation. He found this to be a terrible fate for the human race. Logan noticed a alleyway heading out to the streets of Oreburgh. Logan took cover behind the building, checking if it was safe to move. The Hospital, which was a few blocks away, was Logan's target. A Feraligatr noticed Logan and charged at him. Logan ducked and rolled under the Feraligatr, stabbing the Pokemon in it's abdomen. Logan pulled his knife out and subsequently stabbed the Feraligatr in the back, forcing the Pokemon to collapse. Logan proceeded to pull his knife out of the Feraligatr, and continue to move towards the hospital. Logan began sprinting along the sidewalk, dodging the occasional attack or explosion. Not checking his corners, a Garchomp struck him head on. The Garchomp pummelled Logan to the ground and began slashing him. Logan reached for his 9mm and loaded it. Shame, Logan thought, always have your gun loaded. Logan fired two shots into the Garchomp, sending it back and away from Logan. Logan struggled to get up, but when he did, he fired a shot right in the head of the Garchomp. Slowly struggling, Logan paced towards the Hospital. He got there without any more confrontations but he was in bad shape. Logan walked into a hospital room and locked the door. Time to assess my injuries, Logan thought.

The human shed another small tear for her. It was surprising. He was sad for her as well...

"I'm sorry for your loss, but I need to say something. I... I have a confession to make. You are the only non-hostile being I have ever encountered in this entire "war". I.. I'm sorry I ran from you and your friends earlier... I was just scared out of my mind and bolted. I want to make amends. Everyone else I meet is ether dead or missing. My family? Dead. Why can't we just get along? I'm sorry for running away from that place in Canalave. Im sorry about your loss, I really am."

He was bawling in front of her, though she had nothing to say in reply to his sentences. She hadn't seen such a pitiful sight. In listening, she took a deep breathe, releasing some of the revenge she originally had in store for the man she knew as 'Jeff'. If there was one human she shouldn't be threatened by, it would be him. However, despite his extreme kindness, she wasn't sure how to react. Though she had no urge to attack him, if she was found talking to the man, consequences would become plentiful.

She gazed down at Wade's dead body, looking back up at Jeff. "I'm also sorry about your losses," she started, "this war is driving everyone insane. Bloodthirsty. I've met another human like you which has also become my friend, but...I'm not suppose to be talking to you guys. I don't know what to do. I'm glad you consider me a friend and all, but we can't interact too much, or, at least, out in the open..."

Looking down at Wade, her brain waves shifted as so did the topic of her speech. "I need to announce my partner's death...", she said, standing upright.

Luke Van Eyla

"Snow. That's all you've got, Ice Cream?" The human's first reply was a taunt. Why do they always have the same reactions? Robotic? Boring old morons of humans....

Luke was just about to roll his eyes when he caught the person taking out a gun. But the gun looked a little bit different from the normal ones those dirty humans use. The intended slow Ice Beam had indeed went off target but unfortunately not too much as the human was slow. The trigger had been pulled and a flurry of sparks lunged forwards at Luke. The Vanillite deftly evaded them not before another onslaught of electricity spiraled at him. He was cloaked in an aura of lightning and he let out a shrill call of agony.

Apparently, the Ice Beam had left some of itself on the hand of the human. Speaking of which, Luke did not know that person's name. The Ice-type Pokemon guessed that he should make some acquaintance. Wild electricity whizzed and buzzed madly everywhere and a wall on one side was demolished down. Pity, they didn't beam at Jack. The Vanillite maneuvered to one corner and started releasing clumps of compact ice and snowy debris at the human. He lifted them all up into the air with his cold wisps of vapor and like how a Claydol or Aerodacty lwould do with Ancientpower, Luke thrust all his energy to creating a huge downfall of ice chunks and rubble.

The human, Luke was now really anxious to find out his name instead of referring to him as 'human' or 'person' or more like 'pain in the neck', fired another gunshot and a glowing web was flung onto the ice cream cone. He flailed his arms around and conjured up a weak Mirror Shot to retaliate the attack.

"What were you're aiming, whatever-you-are-called!!" Luke spat and stuck his tongue out.

Rumble
Oreburgh City
Route

Rumble's car was eating the road at 120Mph per hour. This time he'd stolen a sports car, a "lamborghini". His right eye was still hurting and his scared face seemed dry. The gel components had started to grow back, but the cuts from the bullets and the glass shards were making it look scared, like his face. The red scars were hurting alot, but Rumble didn't seem to mind. He could handle it.

He finally reached Oreburgh City. It seemed like a millenium had past since he left.
Rumble saw the army had finally reached the hospital. He punched it and parked in front of the hospital's entrance. He thought he saw a camo but tried to ignore it.
The Pokemon were storming the base all around him, some heading upstairs. His metallic voice bursted the ears of all the Pokemon, making them cringe.

"Kill all survivors" yelled Rumble at the crowd as he grabbed a Whismur from the ground near him.

"You! Where the heck is the commander?"

The Whismur was shuddering in his paw. The Pokemon looked all around his face.

"I-I don't k-know.."

Rumble frowned, with his eyebrows becoming one.

"Who the heck is leading those Pokemon?"

The mechanical genius left the Pokemon on the floor, which then bolted, knowing that he wouldn't get any answers out of it. All around was chaos... he wondered how Hector could leave the army so unorganized, small and big Pokemon with no particular order...
Maybe Hector is dead, thought Rumble. He shook off that thought and headed upstairs, behind the Pokemon crowd that was storming the rooms with all the wounded humans.

"Make them PAY!" some Pokemon turned around and faced him. Rumble saw fear in their eyes, which were reflecting himself. He didn't smile, although the feeling of control was nice. He nodded to all the Pokemon to go forward, some even returning from the rooms they had passed, covered in blood. The crowd roared and continued assaulting the rooms.
So unorganized...

First post, tell me if I got something wrong.

"Quickly! It's an emergency!" shouted one of the Pokemon nurses, a Shiftry, to be exact. Quit a strange species to be a doctor, but still. "We need a doctor!" she exclaimed again. There was no doctor to be seen anywhere in the vicinity. a Pokemon, a Crobat, was lying on a bed. Two nurses, a Shiftry and a Gardevoir, were shouting for someone to help. For some reason, all the doctors had taken off, and there were only three medical personel in the building. The building being a Pokemon Center that was abandonned by the humans, it wasn't far off from the battle, just a Pokecenter in the middle of a road. All injured Pokemon were delivered here, and this Crobat was severely injured. His wing had literally been torn off, and he had a huge gash near his eye. The Pokemon was crying out in pain. Now, as said before, there were three medical personel in the Pokecenter at that time. The two nurses, and a Medic by the name of Slyfer. An Ariados, again, a strange species to be a Medic, but a Medic nonetheless.

Slyfer was attending to another injured Pokemon, who'd only had a small gunshot in its leg, when he heard the pleas of Nurses Diane and Sharon. He dashed over to the room where he saw the Crobat seriously injured. Its gash was bleeding, and so was the place where Slyfer expected to see his wing. Slyfer immediately spun a web around the bleeding areas and said "Medical equipement. Where's the First Aid box?!" he exclaimed in anger. Obviously seeing that they needed to hurry. The pain had eased a little thanks to the webs, and the Crobat was now simply giving off groans. When Slyfer got the First Aid box, he opened it and found some tools, not all of them were needed for this, but it looked like there were pieces of rusty metal in the Crobat's gash. He needed to get them out, or the Crobat's blood might be infected with poison. Rust Poison was different, not even a Poison-Type was physically prepared for the toxic that it would insert directly into the blood.
Slyfer struggled, but eventually he extracted all the pieces of metal. The Crobat had been sedated, putting him to sleep. Now, its wing. The wing was severed, probably slashed off by whatever gave him that gash, which meant that it was likely infected. Slyfer had already put disinfectant made from Poison-typed defenses onto the gash, now all he could do was put some on the ugly little place where the Crobat's wing had been. Slyfer did so, and heard the Crobat groan before falling asleep again. "I did all I can." he said as he turned to the nurses "Where are all the doctors?" he asked them, but they shook their heads, unknowing where they might be.

"I'm also sorry about your losses," The Zoura said in sympathy. "this war is driving everyone insane." Finally, someone who agrees!
"Bloodthirsty. I've met another human like you which has also become my friend, but...I'm not suppose to be talking to you guys. I don't know what to do. I'm glad you consider me a friend and all, but we can't interact too much, or, at least, out in the open..."

"I understand." I replied. "Until we meet again, I guess."
I left the alleyway, reminiscing on those I lost. There wass was my family, including my parents, my cousins, and even my own nephew, James. Fortunately he was one of the first out of the city, but still, I can't wait until I can see him again. There was Alison, Ray, and John, 3 Survivors I meet while escaping Canalave. Those 3 and I practically stuck together the whole time we meet, until they were all carried away by Fearow we were trying to escape. Who knows whats happening to them. I cried, if I had tears left. Then suddenly, I bumped into someone. I reconized the suit as belonging to the man who saved me earlier.
"Mark Vargas? Is that you?"

Oreburgh City
Hospital

Rumble invaded all the rooms of the hospital with the rest of the Pokemon bunch, executed all the wounded humans and killed all the doctors. There was little to no resistance as they stormed the hospital, finishing the job they started in Jubilife. Rumble was happy as ever, controlling the small team of Pokemon. The rest of the Pokemon were in other parts of the city or around the hospital, they informed Rumble.
There was one floor left they didn't clear, because the monster in lead of the team decided to search for Lydia first.

Outside the hospital, it seemed like a good idea to gather all the Pokemon right there. Rumble was standing next to his Lamborghini with eyes closed. The Pokemon from the hospital were looking at him, not with doubt, but with fear, some even with loyalty. The name Rumble was spreading from mouth to mouth, and his presence was getting noticed like lightning in the sky.
His metallic voice cracked in the area, reaching the far end of Oreburgh city, back at the destroyed electric fence.
"Pokemon, gather 'round. The battle has ended and our commander has gone missing... anybody saw anything?"
Rumble looked around with a real, serious expression on his face. The Pokemon cringed again with his psychic voice piercing their minds. He had a feeling they'd get used to it...
Pokemon started appearing in the streets, coming up from the town with a curious expression on their face.

Then, a Golem approached Rumble. The psychic type Pokemon tilted his head, recognizing the same Golem that was on the hospital team with him. He started measuring the power of the Pokemon before him. The Golem saluted. Rumble mimicked him.

"Hector fell into a crater I created. He was shot before. He is dead."

Rumble nodded and they all kept one minute silence for the fallen member. Rumble was smiling as everyone closed their eyes, except for him.
But Lydia hadn't showed up yet..

Blocks of ice showered down on Ali, who instinctively protected himself with his gun-infused arm. He fell to the ground as the ice fell around him, gritting his teeth. Over the thunderous noise of the indoor avalanche, Ali barely heard the words "What were you're aiming, whatever-you-are-called!!" coming from the Vanillite.

"It's Ali, Ice Cream. The general of this establishment." Ali said through gritted teeth, standing up as the downfall of ice stopped. As he stood, his gun fell to the floor; the heat from the electricity seemed to have melted the ice.

Ali grinned as he pulled out his XM25. "Now you're for it, Coney. Jack! Stand away, this is going to be loud!"

The Commander and General stood side by side as they watched the Vanillite in the corner of the room. Ali looked at Jack and nodded, pulling the trigger on his Grenade Launcher.

"RUN, JACK!" Ali yelled, making for the window as the grenade made contact.

"Get out of that one, Vanilla!" Ali shouted before leaping from the window, the room exploding behind him.

"Kill all survivors!" a voice boomed from below. 'Sure, now Rumble shows up,' Silence thought. 'Wait, did he say all survivors? Oh sh**.' She looked at the motionless body of Lilac and tried to think of a way to get her out. Her answer came when the girl's eyes flickered open. She got to her feet while holding her head. Silence rushed forward and pushed her out the window. Lilac's eyes widened and she screamed as she fell. Luckily they were only on the second floor so she was only stunned for a few moments before she was able to get up again. Silence watched from the window as she ran off for Mt. Coronet.

She turned her head and saw pokemon gathered outside the hospital. Leaping from the window and landing gracefully on her feet, Silence ran over. She was in time to hear a Golem telling Rumble that Hector was dead. 'Or so they think,' Silence thought. She'd keep what she knew to herself for the moment. When the rest of the pokemon closed their eyes, Silence kept her's open a slit and saw Rumble smiling. 'He's gonna get us all killed.'

"RUN, JACK!" The general shouted. Mark put down althalos, borrowing his rifle and switching on the Under Barrel Flame Thrower. He started to charge into the room but stopped when he saw a grenade, and turning around. Vargas starting heading the opposite direction, but dived to the floor when the explosive went off, destroying the room. Standing back up, he dusted off his vest and leaned Althalos' rifle next to him. Mark looked out the window. There was a big group of pokemon by his F1, and also what looked like a Lamborghini Gallardo. He pulled out his RPG and aimed at his F1. "i cant believe im about to do this" Mark said to himself as he pulled the trigger. The rocket took its signature spiral path to the car, exploding on the hood of the car. The Mclaren went up in a fiery explosion, sending burning napalm all over the unsuspecting pokemon. Everything the pokemon touched caught fire, including the lamborghini. The lamborghini's fuel tank ignited, causing the car to explode. "Oh well," Mark said to himself "I would have chosen a better lambo, like a reventon, or an Aventador." Mark picked up althalos and his rifle and headed for the front door. When He got there, he found a locked hospital door. Mark knocked on the door "Get out of the hospital before more pokies come." He said as he walked away and out of the hospital. He headed in the general's last known direction of travel, hoping to catch up with him. Mark bumped into the man he saw earlier. "Mark Vargas? Is that you?" Jeff asked "ahhhh, Jeff, is it, yea it's me, and I could use some help."

I was walking through some alleys after the little incident in the hospital. I listened to the sounds that surrounded me. Apparently, Rumble was back, and he was heartlessly slaughtering any human that he saw. I heard him and his troops enter the hospital, I heard them murder the injured, the sick, the doctors that were taking care of them, and anyone else that happened to be in the hospital.

I didn't bother to move when Rumble called everyone to gather around him. I wanted to be as far away from that monster as possible. Apparently I had both good judgement and luck, as a huge explosion came from where all the Pokemon had gathered. I wouldn't be surpised if it was Rumble murdering all the Pokemon, or if it was a human taking revenge for what Rumble had just done. Either way, I hoped that he went up in flames and that he would never escape those flames.

Rumble

Outside the Hospital

Rumble heard a slighty sound of a missile traveling. It was all in slow motion as he saw a human from a far.

Motherfu..

He wasn't aiming at him. Rumble turned his head right and raised his hand, following brain orders he never gave - The psychic wall he created in front of the Pokemon close to the Pokemon who were standing next to the F1, blocking the flames from the explosion. The sound wave knocked them all back, and the flames licked the psychic wall, headed straight to his Lamborghini, igniting it. Rumble and the other Pokemon backed off as a second explosion followed.

Rumble didn't fall due to his levitation and he immediately nodded at some harcore Pokemon from his previous team to follow the man who destroyed the car.
The Pokemon, mainly rock type, nodded and took off.
The rest of the Pokemon were upset with the explosion, although they had noticed the wall Rumble created.

"See, these are the humans. They were the ones who created the weapons of destruction, not us."
Rumble's voice cracked again. He blinked his eyes while looking at the ground. The cars were burning. Suddenly a Chimeco spoke from the crowd.

"And why are you carrying them?" The rest of the Pokemon seconded the observation with roars.

"If the humans are ruthless, you'll have to be more ruthless to beat them..."

Rumble showed his crystal teeth to all of them in an akward smile. The fear in their eyes - was proof of Rumble's power. His presence only was enough to cringe those Pokemon.

"Why don't you join us, Mrs Weavile?"

Rumble turned around and looked Silence straight where she was hiding. Rumble was itching for another board game.

Silence noticed movement in the hospital and spotted Mark in the window with a rocket launcher. 'What's with that guy and blowing stuff up?' the Weavile wondered as she dove behind a crumbling wall to get away from the blast that was sure to come. An explosion proved her right and she scooted backwards when a burning piece of metal landed in front of her.

Ignoring the voices coming from the pokemon, Silence looked towards the window. Mark was gone now. 'To bad... I still owe him for shooting me... how many times now?' she thought with slight amusement.

"Why don't you join us, Mrs. Weavile?" Silence turned her head to see Rumble looking at her. She shrugged and moved out from behind the wall that had protected her from the blast.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know a Mrs. Weavile," she said sweetly, her tone layered with sarcasm. "She must be important for you to want her here." Some of the other pokemon snickered while others stared at her in astonishment as if wondering what she was thinking. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have something I must attend to," she said giving a mock bow before straightening and running off to search for Mark.

She found him with another human. They were talking and hadn't noticed her yet. 'We'll just have to change that.' An orb of blue energy formed in her hands and she launched the Focus Blast at the two humans.

"Do you know where we can get some transpor..." Mark was cut off by yet another focus blast, sending him to the ground. He looked over his shoulder to see Silence. "I Don't have time for this!" Mark said in an irritated tone as he jumped back to his feet. He quickly grabbed up althalos and started looking for an escape route. There was a fire escape, perfect. "Time to move Jeff, follow me, quick." Mark took off for the ladder of the fire escape and hopped on with jeff close behind. He got to the top and wen't up the stairs, soon finding out there were a lot. The 2 got to the top and went into an open window. The room Jeff and Mark ended up in looked a lot like mark's friends house, from his childhood. That meant they were back in his old neighborhood, home turf advantage. "What now..." Mark said pacing back and forth. 'This would be alot easier if Althalos was awake' He thought to himself.

I saw out of the tip of my eye the Weavile I had meet in the same place I found Lydia. Oh man, she's going to kill me! What do I do? What do I do?
"I don't have time for this!" Vargas yelled, clearly exasperated. Had he meet her before? He grabbed an unconscious person from the alley way, and quickly ran off into a fire escape. I followed him, not wanting to be left to the Weavile's mercy. We eventually went to the top, and dove into an open window on the next building. Did I just do that? I guess desperation drives people to do desperate things. I should know that, as I prosecuted several people in court doing that kind of stuff.
"What now..." My, at this point, guardian angel, said, pacing back and forth.
"Get out of here, I guess." I replied, providing a suggestion. "This city seems to be taken by the Pokemon."
