Baby Pokemon eh? It'd be cool to see a baby Kanghaskhan ;P I know it's a topic that's as old as Pokemon Red/Blue/Green and it was somewhat achieved in Mega-Kanghaskhan but I really want the baby to be it's own Pokemon xD

Fun fact, there was supposed to be a baby Kanghaskhan pokémon back in Gen 1 that could also evolve into Cubone but they couldn't get it to work properly because split evolutions weren't invented yet except for Eevee. That's also why Missingno. evolves into Kanghaskhan when you feed it a rare candy sometimes.

Also you can't really "defend the spirit of fair play" if you also cheated yourself, now can you? If anything I helped the thread move forward, if I hadn't done it it would probably still be stuck at 148.

I think that was supposed to be just a baby Kangaskhan but they decided to spare baby pokémon to the next generation.

Talking about theories, there's also this interesting one:

That's so obvious that I wouldn't wonder if it's true and there has really been change of plans at some point.

Yes, I can. Notice Ash's post above, he solved this situation so that nobody became perma ghost which was right, I hope you'll play this fair from now on.

I can disagree with this. Magikarp was always supposed to evolve into Gyarados and here's why; Magikarp is based on the Chinese legend of the carp that swam up the waterfall against all odds to become a dragon. In the legend, the dragon it becomes is a Chinese dragon (obviously since it's a Chinese legend). Dragonite, on the other hand, is a European dragon (or rather, is based off one) while Gyarados is a Chinese dragon.

Okay so there is some arguing about the counter which I thought Ash fixed it already... I understand that the counter was messed up for due to some posting/deleting/editing threads [which causes frustration on both parties], but I also thought this thread was for conversation [as I have been told at times] and not for arguing about the counter.

As stated before, a lot happens once I leave the thread for a while.

As for baby Kanghaskhan, um, it WOULD be an interesting Pokemon idea, but it would debunk the meme that Kanghaskhan hatches from an egg and is already a mother [I saw this once before online somewhere]. The Pokemon creators would have to find a way to explain that and could risk a lot of backlash from all those Gen One fanatics.

I think there wouldn't be lot of backlash from Gen One fans because the logic behind Baby Kangaskhan is so obvious.

I still want to see a common baby evo between Tauros and Miltank, just like they did with Tyrogue. I've seen some hacks that actually have this implemented.

On topic of alternate evolutions, I agree Magikarp and Dratini's lines are right this way. Switching them around wouldn't fit at all if you look at the scales and whiskers of Magikarp and Gyarados and the shape of the head of the dragons.
I'd like to bring forward another set. What do you think?

This is pretty interesting! Scrambles (your Venonat) wishes he could evolve into Butterfree xD

I don't know what it is but all these "X was supposed to evolve into this instead!" theories really annoy me lol... It might be because I was really into theories two years ago, but kinda broke off after all the kangaskahn and silver theories....

I supposed Venonat-Buttrfree would have been cool but I still can't see why they would mix em up lol.

They probably intended to make Venonat evolve into Butterfree in the first place, but switched them around later. On the topic of these two, doesn't bug/psychic fit a lot better to them or is that just me? Both learn a couple of decent psychic moves by themselves.

Could be! I still wonder why they brought Venomoth into existence, though. Possibly executive meddling within the company?
